**November 2025: Tuesday Afternoon Visit** I always try to visit at least one charity shop when I travel and Experience Goods seemed like a good one to check out. I love that proceeds from this shop benefits a hospice care facility and that they had a parking lot for patrons. On my visit they had some ugly Christmas sweaters, variety of jewelry pieces, and coats. Thy also had misc knick knacks, furnitures, children and men's items. Pricing for items seemed reasonable here. It's a cozy thrift shop and I think it's worth a visit depending on what you're looking for. read more

If you're a serious thrifter, you bound to find something here. I love the fact that this benefits a hospice care facility, palliative care is woefully underfunded in North America and it's nice to see that there are socially-conscious enterprises out there that are supporting such good work. Things move very quickly here and their stock is constantly changing so if you do happen to live near Brattleborough, it's worth it to stop in and check their goods regularly. Their stock is very well organized the volunteers that work there are very helpful and friendly. I saw lots of shoes, fur coats, and other clothing items, furniture all on the floor. Another thing I noticed was that it smelled clean. One of the things I dislike about some thrift shops is that musty, old smell of goods that haven't been cleaned properly. Things are crazy cheap as well. If you go on the first Thursday of each month, their racks outside are half-price off the sticker. read more

I almost don't want to let people know how much of a find this place is, because they might get the good stuff first. I've been a thrift shopper across the country for over 30 years and this place is downright special. There is ALWAYS some cool find, and they change the merchandise out constantly. Really cool cause, really cool staff and AMAZING prices. read more

Very cool shop with a lot to look at in a wide variety of categories. The prices seemed reasonable and although we didn't buy anything on this visit I'm sure we'd be regular customers if we lived nearby. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone visiting from out of town as an interesting place to get a deal. read more

Great thrift store, although the window is more enticing than the inside (they put their best goods on display in the window, which are not for sale until the first of the month, when they are snapped up by those in the know). Still they have some great stuff, and it is CHEAP (I got a gorgeous little 30s era milk pitcher which still makes my heart flutter when I look at it for $1.50). Definitely worth looking at. read more

This is a nice little cozy thrift store....and the prices are super cheap. Spent approximately $7 on a pair of boat shoes (practically brand new and of high quality), a screen printed tote, a canvas backpack, and a little leather wallet. This place is probably one of the cheapest thrift stores I've been to in awhile. Other thrift stores have been jacking up their prices recently and while I'm still not paying the retail amount it's not like it used to be. read more

Their new location isn't quite as charming as the old one, but the improved selection tries to make up for it... I found a bunch of fifty cent paperbacks I just had to have, and even a new shirt for three bucks (I love deals). The window display here isn't much to speak of, at least not in comparison with the old window that they used to display stuff in. This space is just Too New for Experienced Goods in general. read more

This is a great thrift store that contributes to a very good cause. Prices are great on lots of essentials and still way better than other local spots on the thrift/antique crossover items. Most of all, the staff is really great. Best customer service and informed staff of any thrift store I have been to. read more

Regarding donations: Hmm, these guys are pretty picky about when what you can donate. That in itself isn't a problem -- it's just that the staff is far from apologetic. They are grumpy -- to the point of being hostile -- about it. Not an isolated incident -- it has happened again and again. You don't get the sense that they are very grateful for donations. read more

Hands down my all time fav store. It is always my first stop for all things clothing, shoes, books, toys, and of course household goods! Unfort the mellow, happy go lucky shopping enviro has overtime shifted. the constant watchful eyes and refusal to respond to my greetings of hi, how are you? From volunteers/employees comes across cold and unwelcoming. Great stuff definitely still worth a visit! read more

I understand why they moved, I do. And I know that I'm just a cantankerous New Englander who is resistant to change. And I can't deny that they're still a solid small town thrift store when it comes to price and selection. But I miss the amazing displays in the old storefront windows, the well worn wood floors, the creaky door- the idiosyncratic character of the old location lent the thrifting "experience" authenticity. It felt like a place you'd almost certainly find hidden treasure. The new location in the brand-new transportation center with it's florescent lights feels like a big-city Salvation Army and the once-charming monthly display system seems strange in this set-up. Not to mention, how bad you feel for the employees working in the back room who are stuck in a fishbowl for all who patron the garage (or at least the stairs) to see? Call me cantankerous, but I miss the old store. read more

I think it is a everyone's. Store for just everybody. To look it even catch the eye of something you have not seen for a long time.There is stuff there for children and adults alike for clothing toys electra. Or maybe and old piece of furniture that need a little fixing to make it come back to life or some music that back in the folks of fiddle .Just plain old before time like the old Victoria's record players.
