Nazgol and her team were amazing. If I could give 10 stars, I would in a heartbeat. My family hired Nazgol to cater the reception following my father's funeral. Right from the start, she was so empathetic, kind, welcoming, and easy to work with. She came up with suggestions, adapted to our changes, asked the important questions that mattered in the end, took charge in touring the facility and getting access to set up ahead of time. Her team set up the tables and chairs ahead of time and created an amazing display with attention to detail. The grazing table with meats, cheeses, and fruits was beautiful and tasty. All of the hot food was hot and delicious, the desserts on the dessert table were all homemade and amazing. There was also a great beverage station. The staff made sure that everything was clean and well stocked the entire event. During the funeral service, she learned that the crowd was nearly double what we expected. Without skipping a beat, she took initiative and called her team to bring in extra food. We had no idea that she did that until after the event. We were so appreciative and impressed that she took it upon herself to make sure that there was plenty of food. Her team also gave us to-go boxes and cleaned up the facility after we left. If I ever have another event or if anyone ever asks if I know a great caterer, Nazgol and Experience Excellence Events will always be my go-to choice. I attended a Charcuterie Board Workshop at Gali Vineyards put on by Experience Excellence Events and left with a beautiful and overflowing charcuterie board (that I was surprised I was able to look so good- see photo below) and a big smile on my face. My friend and I had the best time at this beautiful venue with the most gracious and personable host Nazgol (the owner). Nazgol is passionate about what she does and takes pride in the cheeses, meats, garnishes and other fun items we decorated our boards with. Nazgol taught us several tricks for cutting, arranging, and presenting cheese, meat, fruit, crackers, and more. Her materials are sourced from around the world and are not only delicious but so beautiful. The workshop was about 90 minutes long and I can't wait to take another! One thing I loved was that we all worked with the same materials but all our plates turned out differently, each an expression of the participant's personalities.
