I called and asked about pricing. The cost (whether jump start or battery) was reasonable. Mr. Ayala said he'd pick up the battery on the way just in case - having gotten the information I had on hand for my make and model, and my equipment preference if it came to that. He also said that I wouldn't be charged for the battery if it wasn't needed - regardless of him making this outlay. As promised, he showed up about 45 minutes after our call - this is with him driving up to Baltimore. When he arrived, Mr. Ayala looked at the battery, said it was 2 years old, no corrosion - relatively young for the equipment. That it probably would be just a jump start (I had left the car sitting for too long). He then promptly walked me through the steps to jump it, while attaching the cords to the outlets. The car started. Then he had me turn it off without the cords attached to check that it still started, which it did. The service was $85. Perfectly reasonable. Convenient and timely, as well, and I found him to be pleasant and knowledgeable.

I called him since it was late afternoon after the local tire shops were closed. He did an excellent job and surprised me by showing me the nail I saw wasn't even the main problem, there was a second nail further into the tire that I wasn't able to easily see. He even gave me the nail as a souvenir haha. Prices are reasonable for coming to your location and being available nearly around the clock compared to the limited hours at most tire shops. I did take a little while longer than planned to come but I was at home and he was busy so it all worked out. Super nice guy and first class professional work. Hopefully I don't have any tire issues anytime soon but if so I'll call him.

Extremely Unprofessional and Unclear Business Practices!!!…read more October 2025, my car was towed by Mid Atlantic Towing in Woodbridge for partially blocking a driveway. I take full responsibility for that mistake; but the way this company handled the situation was completely unacceptable. When I called to find out how to get my car back, I was told the total was over $300, mostly because they claimed my car was "abandoned" even though it had only been parked for less than 12 hours. I confirmed with the PWCPD responding officer and dispatch that they did not relay that information to them, leading me to waste an entire day figuring out where the source of that information was, especially as I was told the "abandoned vehicle towing fee" is $256. However when I asked for an itemized invoice, I was told I was "reading too far into everything." Every time I asked a reasonable question, I was met with attitude, dismissal, or deflection instead of transparency. No one, at any point could produce any real form of documentation that one would reasonably expect to be readily available for this kind of business. The sad part is that even the responding officer told me that they "don't really document" these types of towings in full detail, which further lent itself to my overall dismay. The next morning (Monday), I went to their office at 8:30 am(which says it opens at 8:00 a.m.), but no one showed up until almost 8:50 a.m. My calls went unanswered and were eventually blocked yet when my friend called immediately after, someone picked up right away. When the staff member finally arrived, she was rude, confrontational, and unprofessional, making personal remarks like, "I see why they towed your car," and "I would've towed you too." She even said that the owner had "warned her" about me and that staff had been discussing my case, undoubtedly in a negative way based on how she treated me right out of the gate. All I wanted was my car back and a breakdown of the charges. I stayed calm and polite, paid the full amount without issue, but never received a proper invoice: just one vague "abandoned towing" charge that has already been proven verifiably incorrect by anyone with common sense enough to realize that it's impossible to have abandoned my perfectly working vehicle in front of someone's else's driveway for less than 12 hours. Later, the Prince William County Tow Coordinator confirmed that Mid Atlantic is supposed to have staff on-site during their posted hours, which clearly wasn't the case. This experience was frustrating, disrespectful, and honestly concerning given that they're a county-contracted towing company. I'm sharing this so others know what to expect and so the county can take a closer look at how this business operates. To Mid Atlantic: being in a tough industry is no excuse for treating people this way. How you speak to and handle taxpayers in a county capacity matters especially when you're working under public contracts. This is a situation that could have turned much more sour for your business if I was someone who had the time and energy to invest in a more thorough form of restitution for my inconvenience. I hope this company seriously rethinks how it trains its staff and handles public interactions because otherwise it's only a matter of time until they treat the wrong person this way and they take it further than I did.
