Just so happens it turned out to be Bryant's Garage. Initially the guy was really nice ( hence me not giving him one star), "offering" to bring my car to his shop where he would give me " a really good deal" and promising that it would cost "nothing" just to have the vehicle checked out. Anxious to get home, I obliged and had my car towed to his shop. This is where things took a turn. He called me two days later and told me I needed a new rear end ( something he diagnosed when he first picked my car up) and that I had two options. 1) I could replace the whole thing for $1700 or 2) He could do some investigation to see if he could simply swap the defective part which would cost $850 with the caveat that if he did some investigation and found that the part could not be salvaged I would be charged $1700 plus the additional fee of $150 for even exploring the latter option. This made me suspicious and therefore I consulted with my family mechanic who found me a new rear end and swapped it out for half of the price. When I told the mechanic I would not use his service he charged me $70 for a check out fee (remember he said it would cost him nothing) not to mention he was really rude. If you get stuck on the highway and get towed by this guy please have it towed to the nearest shop and not to his garage.
