They provide everything you need there if you do not have your own 'yogi tools'. I am taking the one month "New Student Special" for $59.00 I promised myself to go for 30 days straight. *Disclaimer* I have only ever taken big box gym style Yoga and this was my first experience with a Studio. Took my first class with Brooke; after my first class; I went home thinking- that was not hard at all... pssh. The next day my body needed 4 ibuprofen to get out of bed. I promised myself to do 30 days of yoga in a row so I went back for class 2 with Yuko and the worst of it was how sore I was from the day before. I can only make the late night classes so I am in for it with Brooke again tonight. I think this is a great local Magnolia Studio; I wish they had more class options and times... but for quaint Magnolia- I am sure its perfect. One thing that stood out was how welcoming they are and patient with newbies. I'm a fan (so-far) and with the help of pain meds I will make it through the 30 days and update you Yelpers at the end of my 30 Days and let you know if I become a member!

Best decision I could have made!! My neck pain is completely manageable when I attend Yoga class once a week. The studio is very clean with a relaxing atmosphere and provides mats, straps, blankets and blocks if you need them. I can't say enough great things about the wonderful instructors, especially Brooke!! His classes are unlike any other yoga class I have attended and he provides a calm and causal setting. At the start of every class Brooke asks what we would like to work on and he works these requests into the session. You would be hard pressed to find a more personable and intimate yoga studio!

Overall this is a great spot and we would go back next time we are in Poulsbo. They don't have many yelp reviews but they are a five star place for sure!

The class was comprised of a diverse group of students -- truly all levels, all sizes, all ages, and many different abilities. It's always refreshing to take a "real people" yoga class! I would heartily recommend this studio as a place to learn or revisit the basics. Also, you know you've got a great yoga teacher when she starts the class by asking you what you want. People asked for shoulder work, core work, releasing low back tension, and she designed the class on the spot around those specific requests. Now that's someone who knows her yoga, not just a 200 hour certificate teacher who sticks to the same three vinyasa flow routines.

This isn't an aerobics class calling itself yoga; it's an informed, safe, mindful, calming, energizing practice that can be as challenging as the student wants. I'm a 20+ year practitioner and I like a more challenging practice but I see newer students enjoying practice too. I especially love how there are always millennials mixed in with retirement- aged yogis. With covid they closed their physical space and moved to zoom classes. I'm amazed to say that even the zoom classes are wonderful. I was skeptical, but Kim (the owner and only online teacher I've had) still helps with alignment if she notices you need help, and I still get that Whole Life Yoga feeling of calm and grounding.

Vinyasa has been recommended to me, as I hear it's more dynamic in movement and can keep my tiny pea-brain occupied. Lots of street parking, although I parked across the street and had to play human Frogger in order to get across the street. Once inside, I signed in and took off my shoes and entered the studio. It was much bigger than I thought it would be! They had mats that you could use there, which was good since I had accidentally left mine in the car and I feared that I wouldn't be able to jump on enough logs to Frogger my way back and forth again. This particular class was 1 hr and 45min, but I had to leave a little early to be someplace else. $40 was a great deal! As I've said, I'm not much into yoga. I would find myself in a sideways-lifting-leg-downward-dog position and look at everybody else to see if I was even close to doing it right. It seemed like I never was, even with the excellent instruction. I'm definitely down to try it again though!
