I happened upon the yard while driving to a client meeting and thought, hmmmm...what the heck is that spectacular slab doing in front of that little place?! I walked in and nearly fell out of my high heels. I'd shopped EVERYWHERE for several months - as my major renovation was going painfully slow and I wasn't finding anything I loved. My fateful stop that day was a hail-mary last chance effort. Farley, Nathalia, and the entire crew are top notch. No joke. As I walked through, they answered my questions without any pressure. No one followed me or hounded me with questions. They had a relatively small but beautifully curated selection, more thick slabs than the cheaper thin ones that others try to trick you with, then charge you more for creating an edge. When I landed on something I liked they suggested I go directly to their supplier to look at more slabs because they knew that particular "lot" or "series" had more very pretty pieces and I needed 5 that flowed together. They could have tried to "sell" me and might have been successful. But Nathalia was just as excited about the idea of me finding the perfect flow and fit. My designer and I headed over their partner/supplier and we were treated like VIP's because apparently Farley is the best installer/fabricator they work with. They couldn't say enough about him. "Kind, considerate and hard working" were how he was described and after doing business with him I wholeheartedly concur. The supplier gave me their price. Farley made his money on the fabrication and install. As a small business owner I appreciated the effort it took to get my job done. As our kitchen renovation careened into Thanksgiving, they moved heaven and earth to get our installation done on time staying into the night to get everything just right. You don't have to buy the entire slab. At Stone Design's yard you pay for what you use. Loved that! They gave me suggestions that saved me money and gave me a fair price on EVERYTHING they did, including the marble top they put on a old buffet I reinvented, and the pass-thru shelves we placed outside the kitchen windows. People gasp and clutch their chest when they enter my kitchen and I don't think it's my cooking. I live on Miami Beach and drove 40 miles up to Pompano to do business with them. The chest clutching and jaw dropping was worth it. I love Stone Design and the great people they employ and do business with. It is the only place to go.

Joe answered ALL of my questions, his cost was very fair & he made no attempt to upsell. He & Louis cleaned up after everything they did & were considerate of my time. Joe diagnosed the problem accurately the first time & obviously did good repair work, because the inside of my house is dry again. We hired Premier Pools, Spas and Waterfalls 2 years ago and back then Craig told us it would take him about 5 months to complete our pool. LIAR!!! It took him almost 2 years and to this day he still owes us some equipment and labor. He took our money to buy equipment and then spent it elsewhere. It took him over one year to slowly bring in the equipment he owed us piece by piece. For the 10 years of pool building experience he has he made many mistakes that were mind boggling. Luckily we stayed on top of it and caught his mistakes. Nevertheless, it was the worst decision to hire him. He has caused us 2 years of intense stress, many arguments and headaches in dealing with him. Unfortunately we wanted to believe his excuses and tried to be as understanding and patient as possible. Mistake! For weeks he has ignored our plea to finish this project and it seems like he has no intention to get it done. Do NOT trust him!!! He will make false promises. He will ignore phone calls, emails and text messages. He will make up excuses and tell you what you want to hear. He has very poor management skills. His pool building skills are questionable. Even people he works with will tell you that he does a poor job and they get frustrated with him. He does not pay his workers on time. Be careful doing business with him!!!
