Bennie and Clair, the bunny rabbits
    Sasha S.

Dr Kanfer and staff have saved my rabbits for years. Our bunny, Bennie, has terrible teeth and they have gone above and beyond caring for him and our other fur babies. Kanfer is a rabbit dental expert and if you have exotic teeth issues, don't walk-- RUN to see her. She truly cares and takes time to explain what's going on. After surgeries, she took Bennie home with her for overnight TLC. Seriously, who does that?!?! Only these people. Truly incredible. Also: she successfully did an emergency blood transfusion and found a donor for our bunny. Thank you, EAVC, from the bottom of our hearts

Not only was I impressed by his skill and calm presence, but Buddy's owner couldn't stop raving about the progress Buddy has made in his mobility since working with Josh. The results spoke for themselves. What truly stood out to me was how much extra time Josh took to work with me -- carefully teaching me exercises and techniques so I could continue supporting Buddy safely and correctly between sessions. That level of care and collaboration is rare and deeply appreciated. Watching someone with such expertise help a family and their dog navigate a very difficult time was truly heartwarming. She not only welcomed us in with open arms, but she made sure that we and my dog, Mojo, were comfortable before she began. She was calm, caring, and genuine throughout the entire appointment and really explained all our options and what she was doing thoroughly. She started with gently feeling his body and assessing it, quickly noticing that his spine was probably causing him some pain. We moved onto acupuncture, where she explained all the points that she was doing and how it would benefit him. She also had some treats readily available to distract him as the needles were going in! After about 7-9 minutes, you can visibly see Mojo just... relax. Completely calm. Not squirming or fidgeting. It was honestly like magic. She was able to do cold laser therapy while the needles were in and then she whipped out KT tape.. Which I didn't even know you could do on animals! As she taped his spine, she gave us instructions on how to help him up the stairs and to lower his pain in his hind legs. She also suggested that we start cooking his meals as well with turkey and some sweet potato. After she taped him up, we carried him out to the car where he immediately took a little nap. While we were in the car, she came out with a lot of medicine for him to take for his nausea, alongside some inflammatory medicine and Chinese herbs. Within a few hours of taking the Cerenia that she gave us, he was able to keep food down (which hadn't happened for about 4 days before this, he was throwing up everything he ate). Not only that, he was able to sleep without any disturbance and seemed incredibly relaxed. Dr. Bertolone treated us with kindness and genuinely cared for him. We will always be indebted and appreciative to her and cannot express the amount of gratitude we have for her. She is undoubtedly one of the best veterinarians that we've ever encountered.

Shadow has a bum leg and after many xrays, exams, mandated rest, etc, we went to BARC for a second opinion before we opted for surgery (Spoiler alert: he still needs surgery) We had 2 vets and an assistant evaluate Shadow. I found two hands four paws as it was on a list of physical therapy locations from my veternian. I am 100 percent confident that two hands four paws allowed my stella to have a more mobile and comfortable life for almost two years longer. Some of her symptoms were dragging her back legs, struggling to squat to pee and slow to stand up/sit down. We started off with just physical therapy, so doing the water treadmill and the obstacles. We put her on fish oil and other supplements that were recommended. I will admit that physical therapy is expensive, no matter the location. So there were times where we had to pause for a few months, and we could absolutely see a difference when we didn't take her consistently. After about a year, stella started to have fecal incontinence, and so we transitioned to acupuncture in which they suggested Chinese herb supplements. The combination of both definitely helped the fecal incontinence which was great! Unfortunately we began to experience a decline in her health (pee incontinence more frequently, her inability to move as well and be as lively) so we recently decided it was best to have her cross the rainbow bridge. The staff were amazing after sharing the news, and they send a card signed by all of the staff and an early picture of my girl in the water treadmill. If you are on the fence about physical therapy, please try out two hands four paws. I would highly recommend Anna, she was amazing with my girl.

His recovery was very difficult for all of us, but we were informed that there was a place to take him that was excellent. We jumped on it. He started the treadmill hydro, but his love of playing with water was making him go too wild and not keeping with the program. One of the trained therapists said it was time he went swimming in the big pool, and I explained that, despite his passion for water play, he was extremely resistant to going into a big pool on the many occasions we tried, but I wanted to try. Bryan was his first teacher, and within 10 minutes, with a life jacket, Ace was swimming the length! Now he can't get enough of it. He has become an expert swimmer ( after 3 weeks the life jacket was unnecessary), and I can't thank 2H4p nearly enough for this in valuable help.
