This place is amazing! While we are only coming for swim lesson, we see the people lovingly working with the dogs with regard to physical rehabilitation. We don't have a pool but wanted to make sure sugar is introduced to and confident in her ability to swim for a variety of reasons (including if she ever needed rehab). The love each person shows to the pups and their humans is amazing.

Actually Leslie. I was NOT aware of the policy and was not made aware of it over the phone when I booked the appointment. Had I been told of the policy, I would NOT have booked it. Yes, I'm an existing client, but had not been in at all for nearly 2 years. How would I know your COVID policies. A pediatrician doesn't make mothers wait outside the building when examining their child, so I don't see the difference with my child. It's ridiculous. One would think that as an existing client, who has spent a decent amount of money at your facility, a little forgiveness would have been given considering the mix up was caused by your front desk staff not communicating the policy. And NO, over the phone would not have been the same, NOR was it even mentioned by you as an option when we spoke outside. You simply should have offered me the option to return when you're allowing vaccinated people in with their pets so that the proper care can be coordinated.

We have been taking our dog, Indy, for several months now. We did two sessions with Bryan, who was incredible with teaching Indy how to be comfortable in the water. Bryan is patient, and it is obvious how much he loves dogs. We now take Indy every week to swim, and she loves it. We are so happy to have found Two Hands Four Paws and highly recommended it to anyone looking for rehabilitation or a form of exercise!

Wow, what a wonderful place! Yes, it is expensive as other reviewers have mentioned but after going to our first appointment, I think it's well worth the price. There are a lot of pet related services in LA that are expensive because they are bougie "premium" services that can be a bit pretentious. This is not one of those places at all. It is expensive because it is a very high touch, high quality service from people that truly just care a lot about animals. My dog doesn't have a major injury or critical condition that he needed therapy for. He is just a senior dog with muscle loss from a protein restricted diet due to chronic kidney disease. I was not sure whether physical therapy would be worth it since he's doing "fine", but decided to try it out after hearing good things from other owners of dogs with kidney disease about hydrotherapy and acupuncture. I'm so glad I did! His physical exam was very comprehensive and completed by a vet with two techs assisting. They read his medical history in advance and I felt very confident that they were taking a comprehensive and holistic view of my dogs health based on all of his prior health issues. After his exam, he got a massage, hydrotherapy, laser treatment, and acupuncture. Normally he gets anxious at the vet but was very calm and happy the whole time which is a testament to the staff here. The vet walked me through her evaluation in detail and wrote up a treatment plan for my dog which includes the therapies done at the consultation as well as instructions for mobility exercises to work on at home. This is such a nice place and everyone we interacted with were so kind, compassionate, and professional. I would not subject my dog to these treatments if I thought he was uncomfortable or unhappy but this place is truly like a healing doggy spa. He had a great time. I would also note that I attended his session in person and was there for the therapy. Some of the recent reviews mention a covid policy that owners can't go in with their pets, but that is no longer in place if you are masked and vaccinated. After meeting the clinicians and seeing the facility, I would still be comfortable dropping off my dog if the policy were to come back. After learning that this company has a non profit foundation arm to provide mobility services to shelter dogs or animals that otherwise couldn't afford it, I like them even more. Thank you Two Hands Four Paws for a great experience!!!!

My doggie, Nuxx, loves water, so to celebrate his 7th birthday, we booked a 30min swim session with Bryan, which is $100/ session. The staff were so kind and Bryan was calm and gentle with my very nervous pup. Bryan went over the basics of the session and anticipated progress. The goal is to have Nuxx ready for free swim Sundays, which they host here for $40. By the end of the session, Nuxx was doing great! Also, I checked in via Yelp and got some free swag. :D We will definitely be returning. We had an absolutely positive great experience.

During an electro-acupuncture session, the electrical clips fell off the needles and were not reattached for a significant period of time. Despite repeated requests, no licensed acupuncturist or veterinarian returned to assess or correct the issue, and the session continued without proper supervision. This meant the treatment was not delivered as represented or consented to. The facility itself raised additional concerns. On both visits, cleanliness and general upkeep appeared lacking, which is troubling in any medical setting. Most disappointing was the unprofessional and dismissive behavior of the manager, Cynthia, when concerns were raised. Rather than taking the situation seriously, the response came across as defensive and careless, further undermining trust in the clinic's standards and leadership. Management later issued a credit and canceled future appointments, but that does not address the core issues of oversight, hygiene, and professionalism. If your dog's recovery truly matters to you especially after surgery I strongly suggest looking elsewhere and asking very direct questions before entrusting care to this facility

He received necessary procedures including blood transfusion to stabilize his condition. I did not want to leave him at ER for more tests and observations because I have never had any pets survived ER stays. We did receive blood transfusion and medications which seemed to be working and were told that he needed medical attention in order to survive. Since his regular vet was helpless, I decided to look into alternatives. I found this place on Yelp with raving reviews, and like most pet owners in desperate situations, I decided to give it a try. I first spoke with I believe her name was Lyric. She was very charming and well spoken, and made an appointment immediately. I also recieved a call from Yael after I emailed over my cat's medical records and was told that she thinks my cat simply had urinary track infection and she can help. During our visit, Yael and Lyric worked together and performed a basic exam, then I was told that we need a biofeedback scan which will tell us exactly what's going on. This " procedure " consist of sticking two wet pads somewhere on the underside of my cat, and the wires connected the wet pads to a laptop which supposedly would feed all the information to a program. I thought that seemed overly simple, but I was in a state of panic, I chose to believe it's some advanced science that I didn't understand. I was told that they will rush the result but it will be later that evening or next day. Then Yael proceeded to prescribe a list of remedies which is mostly supplements including a jar of homemade yogurt. The visit, including all the remedies I was told were necessary, came to just under $700. They also only accept cash or Zelle payments, no credit cards. The instruction I was given was to stop the medicationd from ER immediately and only take what was prescribed by Yael, and I did. At home, shortly after I gave my cat what Yael prescribed, he started vomiting violently and was visibly weaker. I call and told Yael what was happening and was met with loud, non-stop yelling, telling me that her remedies were right and I must follow her instructions. The biofeedback report showed pages of colorful breakdown and included readings of "pepsine secretion coefficient" and "small intestine peristalsis function" values, plus "protien metabolism value", "liver fat content value", plus kidney, lung function analysis, even blood circulation system analysis, etc. This program of theirs can read all these from two wet pad sticked to the skin of my cat? I ultimately decided to consult with a licensed vet, and luckily I found Dr. Sharp from a referral, and my cat's conditions improved without complications within days at a quarter of the cost. He is healthy and happy today. As pet parents, we are vulnerable to be taken advantage of when our pets become critically ill. I hope my experience can be helpful to anyone in similar situation and can make proper decisions for both your pets and you.

She not only welcomed us in with open arms, but she made sure that we and my dog, Mojo, were comfortable before she began. She was calm, caring, and genuine throughout the entire appointment and really explained all our options and what she was doing thoroughly. She started with gently feeling his body and assessing it, quickly noticing that his spine was probably causing him some pain. We moved onto acupuncture, where she explained all the points that she was doing and how it would benefit him. She also had some treats readily available to distract him as the needles were going in! After about 7-9 minutes, you can visibly see Mojo just... relax. Completely calm. Not squirming or fidgeting. It was honestly like magic. She was able to do cold laser therapy while the needles were in and then she whipped out KT tape.. Which I didn't even know you could do on animals! As she taped his spine, she gave us instructions on how to help him up the stairs and to lower his pain in his hind legs. She also suggested that we start cooking his meals as well with turkey and some sweet potato. After she taped him up, we carried him out to the car where he immediately took a little nap. While we were in the car, she came out with a lot of medicine for him to take for his nausea, alongside some inflammatory medicine and Chinese herbs. Within a few hours of taking the Cerenia that she gave us, he was able to keep food down (which hadn't happened for about 4 days before this, he was throwing up everything he ate). Not only that, he was able to sleep without any disturbance and seemed incredibly relaxed. Dr. Bertolone treated us with kindness and genuinely cared for him. We will always be indebted and appreciative to her and cannot express the amount of gratitude we have for her. She is undoubtedly one of the best veterinarians that we've ever encountered.

She has made such a strong recovery, and I truly believe we wouldn't be where we are today without Christy's care and dedication. Christy goes above and beyond for both her patients and their owners. I'm so grateful for everything she's done and can't thank her enough.
