Being the horrible mother I am (sarcasm, don't come for me people! ), I allowed it! So during our annual family vacation, we found Alan's Cool Ink and this guy was honest about what the tattoo would likely look like as my kid continued to grow. He gave us what I thought was a fair price and proceed with his craft. Well, this year, same thing. Now he's 17 and wanted a even bigger piece to honor his grandfather "King Phil", forever President of Unexplainable M/C (Nashville, TN). We love the piece, the price was great, Freddie was great, whole experience was seamless! He blended with the 1st tattoo (which in my opinion needs something done to it now that his arm has grown AND more importantly, you can barely see my name now ), it's flawless! The only problem now is he'll be 18 soon and can get a tattoo locally, Freddie you moving to TN? Ha! Anyway, can't wait to see what he produces for the kid next year.

The office area was clean, well lit, and the hygiene/cleanliness practices were obviously a high priority. We received a thorough explanation of all that was happening and what to expect/how to care for the tattoo until it has healed. Highly recommended. And for the place that closed early... thanks!

My wife and I went to Destin for our vacation. My made plenty of preparations for us. Let me say…read morefirst that we came from Roanoke Va. I googled almost all the shops up and down Harbor St. I read reviewes and looked at tons of art. I kept coming back to Custom Concepts, what drew me in outside of the art that I saw was the the aftercare that they provided on site, spoke volumes-to me because it is certainly true. I had so many SO many friends to tell me what I needed to do. I called once I had to leaves a message, I also sent a email. I was emailed back and I was called by Jai who is amazing to work with. She was very informative and so easy to talk with, and let me not forget professional in a way that was friendly, she never lost sight that she was working even though we were all enjoying each other's company. I discussed with Jay over the phone what I wanted and who I wanted to my art. This was for both my wife and I. I set up my consultation date. I was called for a consult a day early because Terry wanted to get a feel of what we wanted. While talking to him the artist that I really wanted, I was told that he was not going to be there due to his birthday. Well he just happened to stop by while I was there. Yay... now there was the one hiccup that almost made the whole appointment go south! Someone there changed my appointment time. You know if I made an appointment 3 weeks out I know when it is. So Jai looks at the time and say we have you down for 3:00.. stop punk the breaks no it's at 1:30 and I told TERRY it was at 1:30 when he said to us I think it's 2:30. Nope it's 1:30. That all of the was going south really fast with my wife. I asked is Mike here, because Terry was the artist but wasn't there yet. Ok here is the best part Mike from Atlanta is new to Custom Concept but he has over 20 years experience in the art. I wanted him anyway as I said earlier just from looking at his work on his Instagram page. I have the the Ankh which is designed in many designs many of them. I wanted the Ankh which was the most Original form. I searched until I found the exact one that I wanted. He drew it exactly as I showed him and the placement is perfect. Mike knew that I was nervous, he talked for a while to calm my nerves and it worked like a charm. Yeah I was a solider.. Mike wore gloves, his room was very very clean as well as the shop. My wife piece is even better than mine, she will have to tell her own story.. Check Mike out....on Instagram mikiewebbtattoo

My husband's guy, Shin, did an AMAZING job with the design and details of his tattoo and I LOVED the colors I picked for Nikki to do on mine, her design was also perfect. Due to different local laws my oldest and her friend can't get there helix (eat cartilage) pierced so when planning our vacation to Destin we found out they can with a parent Id and notary permission. We called around and this place said they can fit them in no problem as long as a parent for both was there to do Notary and witness. The helix piercing is $50 including the earrings they use. The notary for a minor will run you an extra $10. You must have cash for this. They can not take credit card for the notary part. The piercer/artist was very good and patient with my daughter and her friend. They were pretty nervous and he answer all there questions and help relive some of that fear. The piercings were quick and painless and they were both very happy overall. Overall good experience. We came to get something accomplished and they provided that in a quick and painless manner. I felt comfortable the whole time and they kept me the parent in the loop and by my minor the entire time so I know everything was done professional and by the the Florida law limits.
