Dr seemed great, facility was nice, but the loud birthday party that made it next to impossible to hear the lady scheduling the app I Yemeni was frustrating and the offensive jokes about service animals and the people that use them was just too much. How can you call yourself a medical faculty while making fun of those who use legitimate medical "equipment". In this case trained service animals, specifically a stroke sensing dog, in front of patients? How can I trust you with the safety of my child when you so flagrantly disregard the well-being of those in need? I promptly found a new doctor/faculty and rescheduled my son within 20mins of leaving, so there isn't a shortage of options. Saturday- Received a handwritten apology from the doctor. I have to give them credit for not blowing off the incident, denying it or trying to justify it, but actually acknowledging it and trying to do better. Plus, the doctor actually took the time to write out a card and no one does that any more, so props to them for having class, acknowledging the offense and actually trying to make things right.

I just started going to this Dentist a little while ago and I love it. I've never been afraid of…read morethe dentist, but the previous dentist I was seeing in the area just gave me a weird feeling. I had been recommended to go to Dr. Nick by a friend and after researching him online, I finally made an appointment. He is one of a kind dentist and ahead of his time with his knowledge and technique. It is awesome we have such a dentist in this area! The office is really nice and everyone who works there that I have encountered is so friendly and helpful. The woman at the front desk is so warm and friendly. The dental hygienist I had clean my teeth was very friendly and funny. Dr. Nick knows what he is doing and is very honest with you - which I greatly appreciate. I highly recommend them!

I came in solely to have a crown placed. As soon as I sat down, I was strongly encouraged to…read morereceive a nerve block to help with anxiety. I wasn't feeling particularly anxious, but I was told it was free, so I agreed. I was quickly given paperwork to sign, which I did willingly, though I should have taken more time to read it. What was not explained to me verbally was that this involved an injection in my neck. When I realized that, I froze but went along with it. After the injection, I was told the doctor is writing a paper on this procedure and was then asked whether it helped my anxiety, which immediately made me uncomfortable and made me feel like a test subject rather than a patient. Later, when reviewing the consent, I saw listed risks such as temporary phrenic nerve blockage and infection, risks that were never clearly explained beforehand. Instead, it was described very casually as "feeling like having a mimosa." When I called with concerns, the staff were kind and understanding, but I was told I would know if something went wrong because I'd have extreme difficulty breathing. I wish that risk had been communicated before the procedure, not AFTER. The staff were friendly overall and there were no complications, but the lack of transparency and how casually this was presented felt unethical to me as a patient. While I did sign the paperwork and take responsibility for that, clearer verbal communication and informed consent would have made a huge difference.
