My son was pretty nervous but relaxed right away with their kid friendly environment. Both of my kids saw Dr Andrew and also discussed my concerns with their tongue and lip ties. After the appointment was finished we were told we owed several hundred dollars. We asked why that was and then told it was an out of network service. Come to find out the Smile Shoppe is most certainly in-network to our insurance but the dentist that performed the services is an out of network provider for our insurance. So please be very careful with this place. While we were there waiting I watched them inform two other families of large amounts that were unexpectedly due and I have a feeling they are doing this to anyone they can. Then had a cavity replaced and they didnt numb me properly…read more They have hygienists check for cavities at cleanings and numb you before procedures, which is insane, and the numbing wasn't done properly. Truly the most horrific dental experience I've ever had. And I've had a root canal and wisdom teeth removal.
