My partner falls into the first category, and was like a kid in a candy store when we first walked in. We shared a zucchini quiche, and while neither of us are typically super into quiches, we both found it to be absolutely delicious. The crust was thin and flaky and perfect, and the flavors perfectly balanced. I also had the vanilla eclair and it was delightful. The pastry was so light and fluffy, and the filling not too sweet and wonderfully creamy and vanilla-y. My partner had a slice of the couronne de reines--essentially a cake with orange peels, ginger bits, and cherries. He found it to be absolutely incredible. We had some wonderful coffees to go with our breakfast as well.

It's a small place, with less than 10 tables, and it soon became clear that the restaurant was fully booked for the evening. By the time our main courses arrived, it was clear to us that this restaurant is run by one wonderful man.
