Exit Strategy Games put on a super fun and Christmas themed escape room! A group of 10 friends went last night to challenge ourselves to their escape room called Noel's Nutty Christmas. We arrived 15mins early as instructed which gave us time to use the restrooms, put our phones and bags in a locker, and sign the mandatory waiver in case we hadn't already. I noticed right next to the waiting area is the control room where the gamemaster's hang out, watch us, prompt clues, and scold us or give clues if necessary while people are in their escape rooms. We were greeted by gamemaster Gigi and told we were just waiting for our escape room to finish being set up for us. Once it was ready, Gigi escorted us to the entry door and gave us a brief introductory story to the room we were about to attempt to solve/escape from and set some basic rules. Gigi brought the energy and the subtle humor and we were led into the room! We watched a short animated video on the TV in our room that set us up to understand our mission and then the timer was set to an hour and we were off to solving puzzles! The room was decorated very well, immersing us into the story in a life-like way. There were many locked boxes to discover the codes for, a door to discover the lock code for, and other mathematical and artistic puzzles for us to solve along the way. It was a very fun journey that definitely required the effort of our whole group. We were given two clues throughout the hour that were displayed on the TV which helped us advance and although we had the opportunity to ask for clues from our gamemaster through an intercom, we never did. We solved the last puzzle with about 16mins to spare and as we were beginning to celebrate, our closing gamemaster, Tony came to congratulate us. He was impressed by our problem-solving skills throughout the game and said he enjoyed watching us. Humble brag, he said he thought we solved the game the fastest out of any group thus far! Lastly, Tony took three group pictures of us in the room and let us out for the night. There were shirts and themed stuffed animals for purchase on our way out. Our family went as a last minute activity for Christmas Eve and it was definitely the right choice. We had a lot of fun and a great time thanks to Chris, our gamemaster. When you enter, I recommend checking in on Yelp as it allows you to get a free water bottle (Seems unnecessary but you'll understand its need after finishing a room). Our game master chatted with us a bit and we all talked about our interests and got to know each other as our party was slowly trickling in. Chris was very patient despite our group being a bit slow. After the rules were explained, we put our items in a locker near the front and got started. The game itself was very fun, we went with Nutty Christmas to get into the spirit and because I didn't want to scare the kids for the game. When asking for hints, Chris answered with a spin with his own personality, which was nice since I'm used to reading hints off a screen from faceless game masters. This added a more personal touch. In the end, we ended with 13 minutes to spare and got our pictures taken. There was no "We escaped!" signs like I was hoping, but their photos are so much cuter. I thought it'd be a normal picture, but when he sent the pictures, it came with a super cute frame. This is probably the best victory picture we got so I'd highly recommend trying. read more

I came here the other day for Spy vs Spy and had so much fun!!! Our game master was Steve and he was so funny + friendly and overall awesome! The escape room itself was definitely difficult (actually the most difficult one, which I hadn't realized when booking it) but we finished it just minutes before time ran out!! It was my first escape room and I'm probably going to be addicted to them after this experience. It was so incredibly fun and I recommend it to everyone!!! Yay!!!! read more

Went with my friends for the first time this past weekend and Nick was the gamehost for us. He immersed us into all the stories for the rooms and it was very entertaining. We did 3 rooms, Kitty Cat-astrophe, Wizardly School, and the Butcher room. Kitty Cat-astrophe was our first and favorite room because it had lots of components that allowed our big group to split and all try to look for clues to solve each puzzle. So if you like all the puzzles already laid out and looking for clues that way, you'll enjoy Kitty Cat-astrophe. The room was also super decked out but not in a cringy cliche childish way, it was fun and adults would enjoy it just as much as kids. Wizardly School and Butcher room all follow a sequence so our group together one by one solved the puzzles so if that's your cup of tea, those two would be great for you. We didn't do Spy vs Spy this time, but maybe next time! Thanks again to Nick for making this such an enjoyable first escape room adventure for us! read more

The employee (Tim) that set us up and helped us through our room did a great job of getting us excited and explaining everything. The room we played (Spy vs Spy) was difficult for our kiddos (ages 14, 11), but was doable with us walking them through. The building is misleading from the outside. It looks super small. We LOVE Exit Strategy!!! The season Elf room was awesome! The games were fun and required real collaboration, which made it perfect for our family. The game master was wonderful--super helpful without giving too much away, which kept the experience challenging and enjoyable. The room itself was spacious and well designed; we're a family of five and could easily move around without feeling crowded. We've done almost all of the rooms here, including the seasonal ones, and absolutely love them. We went again last weekend and had a blast. Today we actually tried another very popular escape room company with locations in multiple cities, and it was awful in comparison.
