They also were really great with my mother being in a wheelchair. The room was amazing! The clues were tricky and made you think. It was a fully immersive experience that everyone (including a 4 year old and an 11 year old) really loved! Our game master Ariel was amazing! She knew we were struggling at times and helped us out a lot. We will be coming back to do the Time Chasers room! I cannot recommend it enough!

We did the Mob Boss room, and it did NOT disappoint. It was just the two of us because the rooms are private, and I actually loved that. We were able to work together, figure out our individual strengths, and tackle the clues as a team. And guess what? WE ESCAPED! We had a few clues along the way, but we ended up solving the room with just under TWO MINUTES left on the clock! Talk about cutting it close! We were so proud of ourselves when we got out. Molly was the staff member who helped us get checked in, sign the waivers, and get everything set up. She was friendly and helpful and made the whole process easy. And they don't just send you on your way after you escape. They have props available for pictures, and Molly took some photos of us afterward. It was such a cute way to remember the experience. My sister had so much fun that she immediately wanted to do ANOTHER escape room. Unfortunately, they didn't have another opening that day, but they did give us information about rebooking and a discount for coming back. I also really appreciated that they offer discounts for first responders. My sister is an officer, so that's an especially nice perk. There are several escape-room options in the Frederick area, but I'm really glad this is the one we chose. It was fun, challenging without being frustrating, and a great experience for both a first-timer and someone who's done escape rooms before. With the completion of this room here with my family, it is a doable thing to do and you won't come out of there ready to brawl. Booked the room beforehand on their website. Pricing for these rooms is reasonable. When you think about other modes of entertainment, it is right on par. We took on the Bigfoots Revenge. The room felt a bit claustrophobic at first, but I chalk that up to them actually theming this out to the max. You weren't just in a room, you went into an experience. The staff here are amazing. They nudge you if they overhear you having an argument of what type of animal might have been on the wall. Like other rooms you are allowed clues, but it's best to see if you can see if you figure it out on your own. Spoiler alert, we escaped. Once out, you have the option to take a group photo of victory. Definitely give this place a try.

I feel like the game masters can make or break an experience. The room was awesome. Very well decorated, good ambience for the type of game we were playing. We needed quite a few hints to get going, which is completely fine. It was difficult to tell when a door or cabinet or drawer unlocked and opened because you couldn't hear it. It was a tough game but we love a good challenge. We did not escape this game but it would have been nice to have been greeted afterward to say "good job," but we were met with the same Young lady opening the door, without a word, we left. Id recommend giving the players an idea of how they might be successful next time or at least telling them thank you or have a good night. I had my 4 yr old daughter with me so we did not go through the haunted house but instead when on the moonlight tractor ride. I loved that we were able to get out and pick our own pumpkins in the middle of the ride however the other group that was with us that decided to sing and use flashlights during the whole ride really took away from the experience. I know the singing and the flashlights could not be controlled by the staff, however it would be great if staff could verbally remind customers to take into consideration other customers. I would have also loved to see more staff wearing masks and reminding people to socially distance but being that everything took place outside lack of masks was reasonable

**Disappointing Experience - Poor Puzzle Mechanics**…read more We recently completed the Harry Potter-themed escape room and were very disappointed. While we enjoy a challenging escape room, the biggest issue was that solving the puzzles didn't consistently trigger the sensors to move the game forward. Several times, we had the correct solution, but the room wouldn't register it unless we positioned pieces in a very specific way--such as ensuring a light blinked only once or flipping objects precisely to trigger a magnet. Instead of rewarding problem-solving, it felt like we were fighting with the mechanics of the room. An escape room should challenge players intellectually, not frustrate them with overly finicky sensors. If you solve a puzzle correctly, it should work--without having to repeatedly reposition items in hopes of triggering the lock. Unfortunately, this made the experience more tedious than fun. We wouldn't recommend this room unless the company improves its puzzle mechanics.
