We had very limited time we all liked the place. My husband gave the Realter a check to cover the 1 1/2 month deposit and 1st month rent. She claimed that she was will let the landlord know and was waiting on an answer. we called everyday on an update and were told the same thing. that she called or e-mailed and was still waiting on an answer. we always told her we had limited time. 3 weeks later after we gave a good faith check we felt we were getting the runaround. we were never told that the person didn't want to rent to us but should have been told so we can look for something else. Very Very unprofessional to a family with kids who needed to move quickly.

This was upsetting for us but Barefoot was responsive and did refund a small portion due to this delay. I found this very professional and upmost of them to do so, especially during unusual times. Fast forward a few years later, we have rented from them again and they were professional and detailed in the process of renting the beach home. Sometimes a bit direct when you speak to them, but fair. They have an online portal to search rentals, make payments and learn more about their company. They are also very responsive via email if you have questions, concerns or need to speak to the their establishment. Considering they are a fair and reputable company in town, I do give them 5 stars for this service.

We set up in my basement because we have an outdoor entrance to it and come the first day we had people sitting out front from 6:30 in the morning and the sale didn't start until 9:00 a.m.! The crowd was big! Peggy and Sarah have a following and they advertise for you so the people just show up! My sale lasted three days and it was a HUGE success! We sold about 75% to 80% of the stuff which was fantastic! If you want to get more organized and get rid of things that have been hanging around for years, call these girls.
