Pat priced my condo way out of the going market rate to list with multiple errors on my listing. She showed up to my open house 15 minutes before the start to begin putting out signs in the complex - I wonder why only 1 person showed up. A month after not 1 offer, she finally provides me with information with sale prices of condos in my development, indicating that the asking price is too high. I asked for the listing to be released from ERA, they refused. I pulled the listed. They refused to give me back my key unless I signed a multiple listing statement whereby if I sell my condo up to 3 months after their original contract ends, they can still get a commission... WOW!!! How unscrupulous!! Stay far, far away from these people!

Alka Aneja sold our home in Edison, dealing with difficult buyers, during a time when mortgage…read morerates were increasing and the buyers were giving us a rough time wanting a fast closing because they had locked in a mortgage rate which was about to expire due to events beyond our control, as interest rates were increasing. It was very difficult getting the C of O and contractors to respond in a timely fashion, as well as getting parts due to supply chain issues now in 2022. Alka gave us a contractor referral (Carlos) who was responsive and did great work, and also a mason for a chimney repair on our former home. The transaction was very stressful for me with unfair pressure from the buyers during a seven-week transaction (which is pretty fast!), and undue pressure and threats from their attorney as well. Alka was very patient and reassuring, as was the attorney she recommended, who was terrific (Eric Chung). We recommended her to our friends even before she sold our house, and she sold our friends' property back in October in record time for them. When we purchased our new home, Alka helped us out with the comp for our new home, even before we contracted with her to sell our old home. In addition, Alka is also just a nice person, bright, and a pleasure to work with.

Buying a house - it's one of the biggest financial moves in most people's lives, and also one of…read morethe biggest PITA's. Lawyers, township red tape, lenders, inspectors, etc.. the list goes on and on, and most of them (especially the banks) seem hell bent on making life as miserable as possible throughout the ordeal. Under the recommendation from a coworker, I came here after our previous agent failed to find us anything decent. Thankfully, Carol came through with shining colors. Now, I'm not TOO picky of a guy, but I knew what we wanted in a house, and how much we wanted to spend. Most importantly, I didn't want any salesman BS about how "with only a little bit of work, you can knock down these six walls, build a new kitchen, finish the basement, and do a small addition to the bedroom", or that buying a craphole of a house was a "great investment". In the wake of Hurricane Sandy & the housing bubble, a lot of people were trying to sell their beaten-up / tiny / unkempt houses for *way* more than they were worth, and Carol was there - day after day, putting up with us and my (often crass) sense of humor while we hunted for a place where the sellers weren't nuts. Looking at houses felt like hanging out with a friend, not being pressured into buying by a pushy salesperson. If I had to do it all over again, I'd most certainly come back here. I'm pretty sure if it weren't for Carol, I'd probably have given up looking at houses entirely, and ended up in some tiny apartment for the next 10 years.
