For an oil change, filter change and wiper replacement it took about 30 minutes, and I'd much rather it take longer to be thorough than to just value the speed of service. I went home and put down cardboard on drive and found it leaking. Imade a claim with Valvoline and returned to Kia to get it fixed. they had to order oil pan and as such i was without a car stranded in Indiana. i finally got a friend to come3 and get me. now without a car to shop for food get medicine. i returned and by now i am without a car for 5 days and Valvoline agrees to pay but the dealer has to send invoice, however it will take 7 to 10 days to be approved by their finance department. i haggle with kia but they won't release the car without payment. so i pay. i chat on Valvoline chat line and they continue to obfuscate i call i rant i rave i chat and finally they call me and say ok we will mail a check, two mgrs on the phone. days go by no check. i call and reiterate my rants and rave and they call again this time saying they will refund my credit card. still it will 7 to 10 days. the inconvenience aside i could have last my engine in the process because by the time thew engine light comes on your car is toast. to add this dilemma i am a disabled veteran that caused me much difficulty. there was no offer of a ride a rental and i felt they just wanted me to give up. in 62 years of drving i have never had anyone strip my oil pan plug needing a replacement. Now ACS II wants to keep changing a bunch of parts till they finally accidentally change the correct one because they don't know WTF they're doing. First estimate was under $300 and last one was $1000+. my daughter told them not to fix it and just wanted her car back. Charged her $138 diagnostic fee. When they returned her car the check engine light was on, wasn't on when she dropped it off for repairs. They wanted another $138 to tell her why the check engine light is on. She wisely told them you don't know what you're doing and just left.

They want you to stay in your car throughout the experience. Not once did they tell me how much money it costs. Turns out they want $91.99 for a full synthetic oil. Quite a lot in my opinion. I may start doing my own oil changes in the future. Interestingly looking up other oil change places in this area NO ONE posts the cost of a standard oil change. You have to call them. There's a sign outside the garage that advertises it takes "about 15 minutes". It was almost exactly 15 minutes for my visit. Had they checked the cabin air filter or changed my regular air filter ($25) it may have taken a few minutes longer.

I went in the SAME DAY based on that approval. When I arrived, I dealt with Dean and another guy in the office. We submitted every document they asked for and sat there for THREE HOURS waiting for a "bank response." No legitimate bank takes three hours to respond. The next day I called and was told they "still hadn't heard back." Then suddenly they needed more check stubs. We sent them immediately. They said they'd call back in 30 minutes. They didn't. When I called back, they literally hung up on me. I called again and was told they were "VERY busy" and would call when they could. They never did. Then I get a notification saying the vehicle was sold. An hour later? The SAME van is back online -- with a higher price. The next day? Another price increase. So which is it? Sold? Or just relisted for more money? This dealership wastes your time, plays games with pricing, and treats customers with complete disrespect. If this is how they do business, imagine what happens after you sign paperwork. Do yourself a favor -- go somewhere honest.
