I went home and put down cardboard on drive and found it leaking. Imade a claim with Valvoline and returned to Kia to get it fixed. they had to order oil pan and as such i was without a car stranded in Indiana. i finally got a friend to come3 and get me. now without a car to shop for food get medicine. i returned and by now i am without a car for 5 days and Valvoline agrees to pay but the dealer has to send invoice, however it will take 7 to 10 days to be approved by their finance department. i haggle with kia but they won't release the car without payment. so i pay. i chat on Valvoline chat line and they continue to obfuscate i call i rant i rave i chat and finally they call me and say ok we will mail a check, two mgrs on the phone. days go by no check. i call and reiterate my rants and rave and they call again this time saying they will refund my credit card. still it will 7 to 10 days. the inconvenience aside i could have last my engine in the process because by the time thew engine light comes on your car is toast. to add this dilemma i am a disabled veteran that caused me much difficulty. there was no offer of a ride a rental and i felt they just wanted me to give up. in 62 years of drving i have never had anyone strip my oil pan plug needing a replacement. I reached up and tried to tighten the filter but it did not move. Took a video and pictures, returned to the store for them to check it. Well they couldn't find a leak, of course they were shown the pictures and video. After listening to the excuses I demanded the oil change be redone. I had no faith in the work previous and was not impressed with the bologna they were trying to sell me. The manager was flat out refusing, instructed me to file a claim. They finally came to their senses after a lenghty argument and did the work. I will never return for work here. I will be filing that claim, my garage floor needs cleaning.

Now ACS II wants to keep changing a bunch of parts till they finally accidentally change the correct one because they don't know WTF they're doing. First estimate was under $300 and last one was $1000+. my daughter told them not to fix it and just wanted her car back. Charged her $138 diagnostic fee. When they returned her car the check engine light was on, wasn't on when she dropped it off for repairs. They wanted another $138 to tell her why the check engine light is on. She wisely told them you don't know what you're doing and just left.

I kept calling. Eventually, the mechanic answered the phone. He said he took my van to his house to pick up the pills he forgot to take this morning. When he went to leave his house, my van would not start. He put a charger on It and, eventually , got it started.He took my van back to the garage where they discovered the alternator that he installed was not working properly. He said they have to order another alternator and start over. He will call me when it's done, but it won't be today.

Avoid Munster Marathon like the Bubonic Plague!…read more Munster Marathon has changed hands and does NOT know how to run a business properly. Came to buy $20 of gas here today... I have been coming here for years as I my family lives in Munster. I walk in, as the attendant who is counting money and didn't seem to want to be bothered with my request. I said I'd like $20 of gas. Rudely points to a little sign on the side of the register asking you to know what pump you're at. I said I didn't know. So I looked out the door, I said I am across from pump 9 so that must be pump 10 he said... I go out there to pump and no gas! Run back inside and the airhead working there says Ok go back out there. Again, NO gas! I go in a third time and he says somebody stole my gas. Who steals $20 of gas in Munster, Indiana on a Sunday morning? Somebody just pumped $21.30 worth of gas. How does that amount match the $20 I gave him? In walks a female customer who has absolutely nothing to do with the incident points to the sign that says know your pump number. I have a few choice words for her too! Like mind your own business! I told him I was across from pump 9. He works there, not me! I'm responsible for this attendant's mistakes. I threaten to call police, he rudely says I call them for you! I wait and tables are turned to make the customer look like the thief and troublemaker. This gas station has changed hands and is run like a sh*t hole. No responsibility on their part. Police arrive and I have an incident report and the owners number. I guess you're not allowed to get irate if you fork over 20 bucks to a business and do not get your gas!~ NO RESPONSIBILITY ON THEIR PART! It's not about the 20 bucks it's about the principle. Poor way to run a business and ALL of us should be aware and it would be wise NOT to patronize this establishment if they do not know how to treat customers! DO NOT PAY WITH CASH HERE! ...
