Exeter Arms Hotel is a Toby establishment situated just out of the city centre opposite Middlemoor Police Station.
It has its own car park and is disabled friendly with the pub and restaurant being on one floor.
The food is very good toby menu with a carvery on every day priced at just £5 before the main evening rush and then only a marginal increase.
The carvery is very very good, and I thoroughly recommend the cauliflower cheese. As with most Toby establishments, you can help yourself to as much vegetables and gravy, etc.
The desserts are simple but nice especially the chocolate brownie fudge cake with ice cream. Again if you go before the evening sessions the desserts are half price also.
Nice house wines, variety of real ales and magnum on draft - what more could you ask for.
There is accomodation available, but I have not tried these facilities so I cannot comment on them.
The staff are very friendly and helpful and will always try to accomodate your seating requests.
Cash machine on site.
