I stopped by here this morning to get tint applied to my two front windows. While walking in the staff was very attentive and helpful. The tint quality was good and they have many affordable options to choose from. I did notice the tint was applied over another piece of excess tint, about half an inch long, and I didn't notice until a few hours later. Upon noticing I drove 40 min back there for them to inform me that they will replace the tint but I would be placed at the back of the line, which would be a few hours wait. I was a little disappointed by the way the situation was handled, rather then placing me in front of the line to fix an error with their tint application; they placed me at the back of the line, and told me I could wait or commute 40 Min back another day. Great service... I reached out earlier this morning for a quote and got a same day appointment and got 5 windows tinted in less than 2 hours. Quality brand used also, not one of those cheaper brands some use to increase the profit margin. My only issue... when I was quoted a price I wasn't quoted the top level of tint that blocks over 90% of the heat, I was quoted for the one for 60%... felt like a bait and switch. In the future I'd recommend quoting all the levels of tint versus using the lowest cost to get a client in the door. Just left this establishment and the tint already looks awesome!! I set up an online appointment and they responded the very next day to set up a date and time for me to come. I was in & out in about an hour. The ladies at the front are knowledgeable on their tint. I was recommended this place by a friend and would definitely recommend to everyone I know. They have a few waiting areas there but I was the only one there. I paid $125 plus tax for 35% standard tint for the front windows. And 5% standard tint for the back windows. The standard option which is advertised all over their website is for the standard tint and they offer a 1 year warranty for peels NOT air bubbles. Keep that in mind. The whole team did a great job, the we're great at explaining the different options available to me and I ended up picking a package that would reduce as much heat as possible. , I chose the ceramic film for all windows. I had 20% on the back and 30% on the sides. I also took advantage of the clear ceramic coat for the front wind shield. Overall they did a good job, but it took nearly 4 hours instead of the 2-2.5 hours I was told when I arrived. They also left quite a few scraps of the old tint and some paper towels in the floorboard of the car. They charged $50 to remove the old tint on my Kia Forte which seemed a bit steep to me as well. Still happy overall, and I appreciated their WiFi and large table that I could work at, so I'll still give them a 5-star review even though it wasn't a perfect experience. read more

First of all I never go to a new place without someone recommending me there. Well I called for an a price right away I was sold with the cheap price 149$!! The next day I went an sucker me to a higher an much better offer by having them cut the tint on a CNC machine. Well I end up paying 243! Then that day it was raining couldn't really see or inspect the car since it was so dirty. Long story short after detailing my car I found scratches all over my new rear bumper. I went a week later because in Houston we can get a weeks straight of rain and that's normal. Well I couldn't wash it fast enough! I went back and they said I took to long to claim that they scratched my car! You would say how do I know it was them you ask? Well I bought my use civic in 11-20-19 with a new rear bumper part of the deal!! That was one thing; the other thing there was wrinkles in the tint back window where those scratches where. It looks like they had so much trouble that they had to f$&@ up my car for it! "Pictures says thousands word" see for your self. Disclaimer: The review is purely for the "Quality of Work and the product" that I received. The customer service is great and the waiting time was less than an hour. I have no complaint about the customer experience. But for a tint place it all comes down to the result. It's like restaurant business. No matter how good the waiters and managers are if the chef sucks, the customer still will not be happy. *Car make and model: 2017 Chevy Volt *Product selected: 92% Blackmax ceramic tint *I went in twice. First time for initial installation, second time for fixing the bubbles and inclusions in between glass and the film. First time: When the work was done I immediately noticed that the worker didnt wipe clean the outside surface of the windows before applying the film. Detergent used for the work was spilled and flowing all over the door panels. Water pooling around the window switches was also present. (I am not a pro but I know it should be cleaned throughly in order to spot any un removed greasy/finger prints/ dusts before applying) I didnt bring it up because I thought maybe the worker's experience allowed him to do so. Multiple wrinkles, bubbles through out two front windows were still quite noticeable after waiting for 10 days. They were caused the dust and all kind of stuff that wasn't removed during the film application. Second time: Brought in for fixing the problems. Pointed out the problems to the receptionist. Car was taken to the back. Took them around 30 mins to "fix" the problem. This time the windows were still not wiped clean for the repair. The existing wrinkles and bubbles are better (but still noticeable) but after waiting for another few days I realized there are more dusts inclusions and now a new inch long hair is included between the film . (See attached photos) Peter offered me a solution to solve the problem. I appreciate it but TBH they really should hire some technicians that can match Peter's customer care's level. read more

Disclaimer: after the tint installation, I waited for 3 weeks (per Executive Motorsports' recommendation for curing time) in order to write an honest review about their place, workmanship and product. In short: 1) The tint windows look perfect (side, back, moon roof). After two days of installation, I can see some bubbles in some areas, but thanks to Houston's heat and the curing time (3 weeks), those bubbles go away without any problems. If you have your car done there, be sure to leave a span of 2-3 weeks time for the work to be cured, before you can start a fair complain/claim. 2) The service was great! I firstly had my girlfriend's car done in their place, and by the way they provided advice, service, waiting areas.... I knew this is a good place for my car (my real "baby" one). The staffs are knowledgeable, the guy who works on my car is being honest about the work, any difficulties that might occur (which did not happen !:) ), and the wait time is only 1hr - 1hr30 if you have appointment with them and come in early (I came there at 9:00 AM exact when they just open, and had the 9:00 AM appointment the day before). 3) The tints itself: I chose the most expensive one (BlackMax ceramic 90-99% heat rejection). It works perfect with the Houston's summer heat ! My car cools down faster with the tint + car AC blowing (middle of the day - 99-105F - remotely start the car and walk to parking lot - 3 mins later car would be cooled and ready to go at 70 -75 F inside). I guess the famous quote is still applicable: "You pay for what you want". PLUS: Lifetime warranty 4) NEED OWNER'S ATTENTION (Peter) - Minor downside: when the guy finished on my car (the car has beige leather interior), there were dusts, some liquids, black marks on my seats and car doors. I notified the receptionist immediately, and she apologized as well as got the Armor All interior wipe and started working on my car to get all the marks out. I did have to clean up the remaining tiny films cut that lay around the car, but it's OK for me as I understand maybe the guy who worked on my car had a lot of cars waiting for him, so he might forgot the "housekeeping" process. I just wish that they would have somebody dedicate to wipe down customer's guest cars and to clean up all their trash before returning the cars to the owners. Went there last Friday (8/31) for a full window tint of my Cadillac ATS. It was my first time having a car tinted so I really didn't know what to expect. I was sure there would be some up selling pitches and there was, however I didn't feel pressured into buying anything extra; just went with the Groupon deal. Took about an hour and a half, as quoted. It's been about 5 days after the job has been done and the windows look great! What I didn't know about getting windows tinted is that there're a bunch of water bubbles that remain soon after the job. Gotta wait 5 days for them to disappear. My car is usually outside, so it took about 3 days for it to dry. The only thing that rubbed me the wrong way was that the salesman wanted me to leave a review immediately. It takes a few days to really be able to evaluate the completed work. Seems silly to ask for a review immediately. read more

I don't often write bad reviews, and I wanted this experience to be better than it has been. First, I was quoted a price over the phone, but when I arrived, the price was significantly different (even after I'd told the gentleman over the phone what I wanted). Since I was already there, I decided to pay the additional cost of their highest premium tint. After the installation, I had to revisit because three of the windows had bubbles and creases. I was told that one of the windows could experience the same result even if they retained it and would just have to live with the defect. I wasn't happy about this but decided to have two windows re-tinted. The second repair for the rear window was much worse than the first installation. I contacted the office, which was nice, telling me to return to get the tint reinstalled for the 3rd time. I went back and they tried to replace tint on the rear window for the 3rd time. I called them and told them I saw bubbles and creases but was told it would cure. The curing resulted in more bubbles, and the crease became more prevalent. Each time I went back for a reinstall, it took at least 2 hours of my time, and I don't have that type of time. I've tinted many cars over the past years and never had this experience. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place. read more

I almost didn't get my windows tinted at Executive Tint because of the reviews that were posted on Yelp that didn't seem like real reviews. Had I not seen these so-called reviews, I wouldn't have hesitated to go get my windows tinted. I wanted to get my windows tinted to my car, but wasn't really sure where to go. I went on the internet and looked for a place. A list of places popped up, but out of all them, the best looking website was Executive Tint on Gessner and Hillcroft. None of the other places can compare. The website had a gallery with pictures of their past work. I decided to go get my windows tinted. On the website and on a big sign at ET, was a price of $75 for window tinting. I thought this was a really low price, but wasn't sure what the catch was. When I went in, the gentleman that helped me out told me to go ahead any pull my car in. He said this before I even made my decision. I told him what I wanted for my car, and asked him the differences between all the different types of tinting available. He even showed me this one type (with a demonstration) where it looked the same as the other tinting, but it kept more of the UV rays out. You stick your hand in this contraption and you can feel the warmth between the two types of tinting. Of course, there was a big price difference. I needed something simpler. I went ahead and had three different types of grade on my car. My front side windows, back side windows and rear window are all three different types of tint. This place was very busy. Lots of cars were coming in for tinting, but some of them were coming back for followups. A local law enforcement (Spring Valley Officer) officer came in to get something done with his alarm I think. After a week, upon closer examination, there were little bubbles in the tint. One good thing though, they have a lifetime warranty. I just have to figure out when I can go back to get it fixed. So here are the things I noticed: 1. Don't be fooled by $75. That is the cheapest tint and nobody really buys it. It's the bad purple stuff with no lifetime warranty. 2. They know how to close a sale. I was observing most of the people coming in. Most wanted that $75, but they didn't get it. They got the more expensive. It isn't false advertising. There is that tint, but it is the worst grade. People can simply walk away if they think they are dooped, but they stay. 3. This business has been around a loooong time. 4. ET knows how to use the internet to advertise. I do not understand why the "shill reviews" were posted when they have a great looking website, they have a lifetime guarantee on certain tints and lots of people bring their cars to them. 5. Like a lot of auto places, there is room for negotiating in price. You may want to shop around and compare prices. But one thing, i want to say it again, this place has been around. A lot of these other places aren't around anymore, so the "lifetime" warranty isn't any good anymore. If I ever get another car and need tinting, I will shop around again. But most likely, I will come back to ET. I will see how my second visit is, to see if I get my little bubbles out. Then I will add another star. read more
