I went to Dr. Spivak for an excruciating pain in my lower back. This has been with me for a decade…read morebut has gotten worse every year to the point of severe pain affecting even basic functioning like walking. After viewing MRIs he recommended ablations to my sacroiliac joint and facet joints( which had brought relief in the past to a medium degree). Both were done but we're relatively unaffective. I'd say the least effective I've experienced. I know he's a neurosurgeon MD that does surgeries and I said " where do we go from here". This is where I believe he was uncaring. He crudely said " I'm not a magician and there's nothing that can be done" . After my surprise and astonishment I then said , "so what am I to do, live the rest of my life in terrible pain " and his answer was simply "yes". He said go back to your pain management Dr. and maybe he can help with the pain. Fast forward to my pain management doctors recommendation of an specific orthopedic surgeon. After this surgeon said it would be tricky but I can help 6 months and 2 surgeries later I'm feeling like a different person. Still some residual pain from the last surgery but the pain that I lived with for years is nearly gone. Please go to a Surgeon who cares and doesn't just blow you off. I have zero respect for Dr. Spivak. His skill and his bedside manner is lacking terribly.

Dr Spivak abruptly dismissed me when he decided he could not do surgery on me. I then asked what could be causing my issues and he said he did not know or care. Many years later, I learned one of my legs was shorter than the other. A little concern and effort back then could have saved me a lot of pain and damage to the disks in my lower back. His only concern was if he could make money on a surgery on me.

He…read moreinformed me what the problem was, and the course of corrective action that was needed (surgery). I was a bit hesitant at first, but realized it was necessary. Dr.Dwyer took the time to explain everything that was wrong, and what he would do to fix it, and answered all my questions. My apprehension subsided, and was replaced with confidence. The operation was a complete success and I now feel like I used to. I cannot overemphasize the professional abilities of Dr.Dwyer. Dr.Dwyer has also had the fortune to surround himself with the greatest, caring, professional staff that I have ever encountered. If you have a question, just call their office, and they would either know the answer, or call you back...not in days, but by the end of the same day. Doesn't matter who it is, they are all friendly, pleasant, and knowledgeable Great guy and great staff!

' now it is my turn to write to dr. lombardy and find a solution for my harassment by this uncivil woman. . aetna sent me medicare papers to recruit me after dumping me in 2021. i had no insurance for the entire month of january. aetna is not just a bogus insurer, they are fraud. the uncivil i will take that filthy woman for a ride if she thinks she will get away. she has a long msg with no real info. then i left msg. for her and never heard. because she is playing hookie with me. she should be fired. . today i received the 2 bill in 2 weeks of $1,200. if dr. lombardy does not get a chance to read this i am sending this email via regular mail. i never wanted to see this patel fellow . being an indian and being very knowledgeable in many areas of life, i don't believe in degrees or diplomas acquired by patels. goodbye charlie. i know french, english, spanish, russian. what do you know, patel? since i did not have the luck to be treated by you, i assumed you are very good.
