if i had a choice to give a score of zero, i would. there is an indian man who paralyzed me for…read moreover 24 hrs. let me tell you what kind of human this was. he put me on the same label as the old gujarati women that come to see him. he started out talking down at me in hindi. after his nurse took x-rays i was looking at them on the monitor. when he came to the room, i asked what i was looking at. he got enraged and told me what would you understand looking at the x-rays? i am a md and i know how to read. showed me his fake md tag. i was awestruck. i wanted to tell the idiot that i graduated from ru new brunswick, grad school in statistics with 4.0 gpa. i am sure he failed his md exams a few times. i must find a lawyer to sue him. first when we agreed that i did not waste a day, because of my anxiety disorder i don't drive long distance unless i want to have an accident. finding this warehouse was nightmare on a heavy rainy day. no one could direct me to the warehouse. i was in tears. i had aetna till the end of dec. 2021. now, after a year, a woman with no civility called me, left me msg. and finally sent me a bill for $1200 plus. when i reached that floor, i had to pay the a co-pay of $50 and then this year i received another bill of $13.80. the man treated me as such. he threw the numbing fluid from a distance of 4'. then he injected raw cortisone on my both knees. as i was coming out i started feeling acute pain and then after 2 hrs. of drive when i came home i realized that i won't make it. in the 2 world's fair drive my dr. mark butler told me that he always uses novacane to dilute the steroid. he belongs to rwj univ associated with ru, nj. the front desk woman did not give me a receipt and looked like she stole the money. there were three useless women at the front desk and talking with each other.. ' now it is my turn to write to dr. lombardy and find a solution for my harassment by this uncivil woman. . aetna sent me medicare papers to recruit me after dumping me in 2021. i had no insurance for the entire month of january. aetna is not just a bogus insurer, they are fraud. the uncivil i will take that filthy woman for a ride if she thinks she will get away. she has a long msg with no real info. then i left msg. for her and never heard. because she is playing hookie with me. she should be fired. . today i received the 2 bill in 2 weeks of $1,200. if dr. lombardy does not get a chance to read this i am sending this email via regular mail. i never wanted to see this patel fellow . being an indian and being very knowledgeable in many areas of life, i don't believe in degrees or diplomas acquired by patels. goodbye charlie. i know french, english, spanish, russian. what do you know, patel? since i did not have the luck to be treated by you, i assumed you are very good.

I will relay the message and someone will call you back by the end of the day....so I wait and I wait. No call. Next business day I call again. inform the office I never received a call back once again the answering service..Im so sorry I will reach out to them they will call you by the end of the day. Sound familiar? Well this goes on for the next 3 days....I finally decide to drive there not to far from me even though I am in a lot of pain and mobility is difficult. I arrive at the office where I am greeted by a young hispanic women. I explain. She has no explanation as to why I did not receive a call back calling over 5 times. She asks for my insurance information and looks at my insurance card and says...we dont take Aetna medicare. So now I'm really angry....evidently she thinks something is amusing and giggles like something is humorous. My advice look elsewhere obviously no one here gives a crap about your pain not only that they dont even have the courtesy of returning phone calls.

My interaction with Precision Spine Institute was, overall, deeply concerning from both an administrative and clinical standpoint. While I want to acknowledge that Dr. Apazidis is a competent and capable surgeon, the broader system surrounding him reflects significant breakdowns in coordination, patient care standards, and operational oversight. From the outset, the administrative process was inefficient and disorganized. Staff members were consistently unable to provide clear answers, frequently deferring even basic questions to supervisors. This created unnecessary delays and conveyed a lack of accountability and communication. The surgical experience raised significant concerns. The procedure took place at a hospital in East Orange, NJ, where the overall infrastructure and environment were substandard. There was a single shared elevator for patients, staff, housekeeping, and food services. The air conditioning was inadequate, and the facility appeared poorly maintained. Although my surgery was scheduled for 10:30 AM, I was not taken in until approximately 1:30 PM, with little communication explaining the delay. Extended pre-operative waiting periods like this increase both patient stress and potential risk. Inside the operating room, the conditions were troubling. Visible rusting on ceiling structures and improperly stored equipment--stacked in a closet that would not fully close--raised legitimate concerns about facility maintenance and adherence to appropriate standards for a surgical environment. Regardless of outcome, these conditions erode confidence in patient safety. Post-operative care is where the most serious failures occurred. Upon waking, I experienced severe nausea, which is highly unusual for me despite multiple prior surgeries. Nursing staff later confirmed that the anesthesiology protocol did not include antiemetic (anti-nausea) medication alongside opioid administration (morphine and fentanyl). This omission reflects a lapse in standard perioperative care and had a direct impact on my recovery. I also woke in significant pain following a double cervical fusion without being provided a proper cervical brace. For a spine-focused institute, failure to supply appropriate post-operative immobilization is difficult to justify. The hospital staff had to rummage to locate a temporary soft brace, which does not provide adequate stabilization. I was then forced to endure a 90-minute taxi ride home without proper support, before having to purchase the correct brace myself. The most alarming issue, however, was the complete breakdown in post-operative pain management. I was discharged without any pain medication available. I had provided my pharmacy--Walgreens in Princeton--in advance. However, when my wife attempted to pick up the prescription, she was told that no prescription had been submitted. It appears that prescriptions are routed through a third-party pharmacy in New York, rather than allowing patients to use their local pharmacy. The result: after major spinal surgery, I was left to spend the entire night in severe, unmanaged pain, unable to sleep or properly recover. For a surgical provider--particularly one performing spinal procedures--this is not a minor oversight. It represents a critical failure in discharge planning and continuity of care. Taken together, these issues point to a pattern: capable surgical care overshadowed by systemic operational failures, poor communication, and lapses in basic standards of patient care. Patients undergoing spinal surgery place a high level of trust in both the surgeon and the institution. That trust requires not only clinical skill, but also a reliable, safe, and patient-focused system before, during, and after the procedure. My advice: conduct thorough due diligence, ask detailed questions about post-operative care and medication handling, and ensure you are fully comfortable with every aspect of your treatment plan before proceeding.
