He gave me a script for an anti-inflammatory AFTER he told me I'd probably need an MRI and possibly back surgery, even though I had no back pain. He said the same had happened to him...no pain...back surgery. With PT and my chiropractor, my problem disappeared. Three months later I received a statement reflecting payment by Medicare and my supplemental, but showing I owed the full amount. I called the billing dept., spoke with someone who told me they're having a problem with their billing system and I owe nothing. I have been receiving text messages demanding that I have an outstanding balance. I've left 3 voice messages for the billing dept. and have not received a return call, but continue to receive text messages, even on Thanksgiving Eve, when I know I won't be able to reach anyone. I've just send an email through their website. This is obnoxious. I will never return there.

I needed lower lumbar surgery at multiple levels that turned out to be a lot worse the initially expected. This lead to having to have constant pain management care to help me try and cope with relentless pain. Long story short, dr Ramundo has done everything humanely possible to help me manage and live my best life possible with the use of certain procedures as well as installing a spinal cord stimulator. This helps a great deal and has allowed me to properly rest if not for a few hours multiple times a day .before seeing him i barely caught any sleep because the pain in my back and legs were to severe. Also with the use of certain meds In conjunction other methods allows me to live and get certain things done instead of being bedridden as a middle age man. I can walk my dog again in short spurts as I truly missed these simple things I though I'd never be able to do again . He looked at my MRI & saw a severe stenosis at my L4-5 and recommended an epidural! I couldn't walk for short distances, couldn't reach up or bend over! The pain was constant! My life was at a standstill! I expected only mild relief because I've had many injections that lasted only a week or two! Dr. Horowitz is a miracle worker! Naturally we were a little bit mad and he obviously sensed it but the appointment went ok. However on our follow up visit he could barely contain his displeasure, spent all of 3 minutes with my husband, was curt, didn't like when we had questions, abruptly left us at the front desk, went back to his office and slammed the door. It was a long drive but it was worth it 100% I went to see a few others prior to her in Qns NY and due to my past surgery i always got scammed to pay to visit fees and asked to take expensive test i couldn't afford, with all the offices refusing to treat me due to a titanium plate i have in place on my back to hold part of my top spine in place. Anyways she she the only doctor to tale her time and ask me many questions regarding my injury and my pain and not just rush me to do this exam and send me with referrals to see to other facilities for testing and so on. everything was done in house. She gave me shots blockers as i requested and bot steroids that in the past got me moody and gained weight. Today i woke up and first nite of great sleep and feeling alive and hardly any pain. I feel like a new person right now and this morning and ready to start my life again with my son i was so limited in travel due to my prior doctor always wanting me to go see them for exams and meds and just bang me out with co pays fees and exam fees i cant afford and taking money away from my family.
