I'm pretty particular about my hair and I tend to try new things (lengths, etc.) pretty regularly and, frankly, try new barbers somewhat regularly, too. I've been in the area for two and half years now, and finally got tired of trekking to my old barber in the East Bay, so, rather randomly, I decided to give Giancarlo a try. Well, I've never gotten this lucky on the first try with a barber before. When he was finished, my hair looked exactly like I'd hoped it would. I'm really digging it. A perfect experience, especially during Covid-19. After looking at some photos of Giancarlo's work, I drove from Piedmont to Napa just for a haircut and I couldn't be happier with the results. It goes without saying that everything was clean; temperature check, masks, gloves, sanitizer on site, and Giancarlo gave me an excellent haircut. Drove up from Sf . Had the pleasure of meeting Giancarlo "G". He asked all the right questions, very clean, on time , great music (joy division) and Wow the haircut!! I will be coming back once a month. Hands down this was the best haircut I've ever had. A true professional. He explained to me that he will do longer shaggy haircuts BUT usually recommends those guys to beauty salons and that his expertise is truly in clean cut off the ears precision haircuts. Super cool barber shop. I have used the Flowbee for years now, but it happens to be in storage. I looked up barber shops on Yelp and this place got outstanding reviews. When I walked in I was immediately seated (a rarity from what I have heard). While my hair was being cut, a very old couple came in and my barber, Mike, stopped cutting my hair to help the old folks in. I thought that was really cool. A true gentleman. I've been to many barber shops and hair salons, this one is by far is the best place for me. The ambiance is one that I look forward to every time in need a fade. I look forward to a line (the line moves quickly) so I have an excuse to hang out and talk to the crew. Ya' just feel more manly when you're there. Sounds funny, but it's just a great place to hangout with the guys and get a sweet cut for the girls. Lol. Sorry for the "lol". This is a BARBER SHOP! It is not a hair salon. It is the kind of place dad took me to many years ago. If I need to explain, then you need to go there yourself. They even take a straight edge razor to the back of your neck. I thought that was a lost art. There are magazines there that guys enjoy looking at. Steve is the owner, and I think his sidekick is named Robert. Both men have cut my hair quite a few times, and perform the same perfect job. Thanks guys! This place is awesome. I will get my hair cut here every time I need it. So, I'm one of those people who never EVER pays for a haircut. At least I used to be. My mom cut my hair until I went to college, I bought clippers and cut it myself in college, and my wife has cut it ever since. But I'm at the point where I decided I wanted a grown-up hair cut, and wanted to give my wife a well-deserved break, so I looked around for a good barber (BARBER, not hair salon, on recommendation from artofmanliness.com). This place is it. Nice people, good cuts, low low low price. Price is big, since I knew I was getting my hair cut much shorter than normal, so I'd have to get it cut more often, and my career choice was to work with teenagers, so I am constantly broke anyways. I went in on a crazy busy day and ended up having to wait 45 minutes or so for my turn. Everyone there was friendly with the barbers, so I figured it was going to be worth the wait, and hey, at $16 for a haircut, I was willing to give it a shot. The barbers were super nice to all their customers, especially young kids, one of whom was really nervous about getting his hair cut. Steve, the owner/barber, asked me what I wanted, and I said "You watch Mad Men?" and when he said "Yes" all I had to say was "I want the Don Draper". Came out perfect. (Now if only the rest of me looked like Jon Hamm) Just got back from my second cut, now a month later. Even better. They made me look good, and seriously, that's a difficult task. Plus I smell good too, they top it off with bay rum aftershave. Now I look and smell good and manly. Go there. You won't regret it. read more

I've been going here for the past 3 years and haven't turned back. Almost after every visit I have some coworker, friend, or even passerby at my local haunts exclaim how clean & stylized I look and where I got it. They've gotten so popular they are almost exclusively appointment only. I used to be hesitant getting haircuts, past experiences usually being great clips or similar dime a dozen commercialized shops. This place is very welcoming making you fell confident & comfortable. All the barbers are great chill guys. Always have espn on, good selection magazines to read. And the decor is classic Americana. read more

I've been getting my haircut by the guys at Executive Room since I moved to Napa in 2012. They changed my life. Before coming here, I used to get hacked up and overcharged everywhere I went. I tried Supercuts, barber shops, and salons all over California, and each time I'd hold my breath and ultimately walk away feeling like I would have been better off had I put my mug in a deli meat slicer. Getting a haircut was always a terrible experience. That all changed after I decided to try the Executive Room. Not only do you get the highest quality cut from all four of the guys here but they have such a reasonable price. On top of that, it's always a comfortable, enjoyable experience. Excellent service, good conversation, and sports always on the flat screen. I look forward to my cut each time. And now that they have an app-based appointment system, I'm in-and-out in less than 30 minutes each time. I truly can't recommend these guys enough. read more

I have had 3 haircuts here. Two were OK and one horrible. An unfortunate turn of events has led me to this unfavorable review. So they have a way (seemingly the only way) to make an appointment on their website. It is extremely difficult to use and poorly designed for mobile (iPhone) display. Availability is scarce so I made an appointment several weeks out when I had a day off. Three days before, I received an email to confirm, which I did, and was acknowledged. Two days before a reminder email was sent. One day before I received an email stating that THEY cancelled my appointment. WTF I planned my day around this appointment which was inconvenient as it was, now more so. I called this outfit up and they said there was nothing they could do. I offered several solutions to their mistake and they said not their problem. I think basically that this is not really a business, but a number of independent workers who share a space. Their lack of desire to cover for one another and take up the slack is disgusting. Not going back. read more
