My new favorite barbershop in Napa…read more Located in Napa but also home to the old style shops with alcohol and ambiance. Upon arriving its roped off like your entering a movie event. Once inside you will find the old style charm. Honestly it's priced fairly well but kids are not allowed. The cut - super happy with the skin to fade. My hair grows funky in different ways but he managed to make it work. As I get older I have more white hairs so I try to make sure it's shaven so I appear younger lol. In Napa and need a trim for that hot date night, check this place out. Bookings can be done online.

If I could give this place no stars I would. Really bummed…read morebecause we come from out of town, last year my husband and son got haircuts here and they were so good. My son was going out of town with his aunt again and needed a haircut so I booked him one online. I had booked a skin fade, and even confirmed the appointment ahead of time. This is what he walked out with. So embarrassing and for $50 is diabolical. Do not go here. My son is 6 years old and has been getting haircuts since he was 1. He knows how to sit still in the chair and he never complains. This is was rushed and unprofessional.

A Cut here is only $40, not too shabby compared to some others out there. Scheduling a Booking here was so easy. I was here this evening. They were professional, courteous, and I really liked how they took their time to make sure I got the right Cut. And that's what I got, the right Cut. I'm satisfied. I rarely do this for something like this, but I give this 5 stars out of 5 stars. I'm thankful, I chose to go here.

Paradise Barbershop in Napa is the kind of spot you don't just stumble into, you lock it in once…read moreyou find it. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is clean, professional, and welcoming without feeling stiff or forced. The aesthetic is on point, crisp white interior, black barber chairs, and subtle touches of green from the plants and pottery that give the space a calm, polished feel. It's a shop that looks as good as the work coming out of it. What really stands out is the level of precision and consistency. This isn't a rushed, in and out shop. The barbers take their time, actually listen, and execute with intention. Every detail matters, from the fade to the lineup, and it shows in the final result. There's a real respect for the craft here, and that's what separates a good shop from a great one. On a personal level, I just got my haircut by Cloyd, someone I've been going to on and off for the past 17 years. This is a barber to barber review, so I don't speak on this lightly. Cloyd is five out of five. Strong hit, never misses, homer out the park type cuts every time. He's versatile too, designs, crispy line work, color, perms, presses, he can do it all. But what really sets him apart isn't just skill, it's consistency. His quality never drops, and his time management in the shop is just as sharp. He stays booked, but still finds a way to accommodate his clients and give everyone the same level of care, precision, and respect. That's rare. On this visit, I was getting ready for my godbrother's wedding. I asked for a low taper fade to keep as much length as possible, with a slight enhancement on the beard to give it a fuller look for the occasion. Cloyd executed it exactly how I envisioned it, clean, sharp, and event ready. My son also gets his cuts with him, so that should tell you everything right there. Watching his journey over the years and seeing his shop grow into one of the best in Napa, if not the best, has been solid to witness. If you haven't sat in Cloyd's chair yet, make the time. You won't regret it. Napa needed a place like this.

I made my appointment, walked to a very traditional looking Barber Shop, and thought to myself I'm Home! I met Eric the owner, very nice well groomed man, and the shop was nicely appointed. We discussed the type of hair cut I needed, my hair was very long (past my neck), shabby, and in disarray. Additionally, my goatee needed serious attention. Eric got to work on my hair straight away. First with the electric razor to deal with long ends, then the Barber shears for the delicate and shaping work. Perfect! Then, he went after my goatee. With a technician's precision he cut, trimmed every edge, lip outline, and jaw line. The result a perfect goatee. Miles better than I do in a mirror at home. All in all a superior experience at Central City Barber Shop. If you need a quality Haircut/Specialty Cut, Facial Hair work, and a great Hot Towel, Central City Barber Shop is THE place to go.
