The cleaners did a excellent job but the owner was pushy. At the end they said I went a 1/2 hour over my scheduled 3 hour cleaning which was a bold face lie. From the start they tried to get more money out of me and I was already paying $405.00 for a deep cleaning. I loved the work but would not use them again. This is my first time using a cleaning service. I have to say, I'm so glad I did! I had one cleaner to do a "deep cleaning" and she was excellent! Although she was there for the entire day, she arrived on time and only stopped for 20 minutes to eat lunch. She wiped down all the woodworks, cleaned the inside and outside of my oven along with the rest of the kitchen, cleaned the bathroom the hallway and down the steps She cleaned each and every spoke on the bannister! She did not use a mop. She got down other hand and knees and cleaned my hardwood floors. NO STARS! Executive Maids, at the last hour, changed my first time cleaning to be 4 people instead of 2, which doubled the cost. I tried to cancel and they said it was too short of notice. They broke a family heirloom during their cleaning and they COULDN'T HAVE CARED LESS. They were SO rude and unprofessional, claiming that it happens all the time, and that the company would pay for it to be replaced. It isn't replacable! They moved all the furniture to clean, which is great, but then didn't put ANY of the furniture back! They stained my white toilet seat somehow and now there are brown marks all over it, which obviously makes it look permanently dirty. What in the world?? My house is 700 square feet; only two small floors, two bedrooms, one bath, a kitchen, dining area, and living room. That is only 6 rooms. Closets, windows, laundry, basement, and inside appliances weren't included. They didn't even make the bed when I had the clean sheets folded on top of it. THEY CHARGED ME $250!!!!!!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME??!!?!?! WHAT!!!! Think about that. Seriously. They offered to have their repairman fix the clock they broke. Do you REALLY think I'm going to let them or anyone they are associated with touch my belongings, let alone come into my home?!!? I asked for a refund and they refused. I asked to speak to the owner and they declined. SO UNPROFESSIONAL! I found the owner on linkedin and emailed her. No response! disgusting business! Extremely shady as well. If I were the owner of a company and this incident was brought to my attention, I would do EVERYTHING in my power to remedy the situation. It's disgusting how they are managing their business. I am beyond disappointed with this experience. You can't break a family heirloom and be "ok" with it. That's a disgrace. When I brought these issues up with the maids before they left my house, they all agreed with me that their services weren't worth $250 and that I was totally ripped off. Executive Maids is expensive for the service they provide and not very careful. I moved out of my house, so there was no furniture in it. I thought this would mean that the cleaning ent quickly and the service estimated it would take 2 to 2 and half hours. The service bills by the hour, costing $120/hour for a 3 person crew. I was not present when they cleaned the house. They called to say that it would take 3 and a half hours to clean the empty house. Since I had an open house planned that weekend, I accepted the charge but I was, and an still mad, that they charged so much. I really have no idea why it would take so long to clean an empty house. Also, they (rather obviously) broke both a tile in my bathroom and globe on one of my ceiling lights. They also neglected to clean some of the shades. They did not bother to inform me about the things they broke and I only saw them when I went to the house. If I am going to be goughed on price, I would prefer that the service not break stuff. During the follow up call, I told the service about these preblems. They basically said that these things happen, but did not really do anything about it. I felt this was rather unprofessional I think this is a very expensive service and I absolutely do not recommend it as I strongly believe that they try to gough customers on preice if they can. read more

We've been using Executive Maids for 4 years now and I will honestly cry if I ever have to cancel house cleaning services.We're not the neatest people ever and our house tends toward the "lived in" look and I've always been happy with the quality of the cleanings and love coming home to a sparkling clean home. We've never had an unprofessional team or unpleasant experience. I know they usually charge a fee if you cancel last minute, but the day I went into labor with my 2nd they were happy to reschedule my cleaning last minute with no charge. (Sorry Janae, helping me breathe through a contraction while trying to figure out what I was attempting to tell you is probably NOT in your job description!) Another example of the above and beyond service they give: our team arrived to my home to a large leak in my upstairs bath. Thankfully, they caught it before my entire ceiling was destroyed (I don't even want to think about what I would have come home to had I not had a cleaning scheduled that day.) They cleaned up the leak at no charge, and since they couldn't reach me - had someone from their office come over and turn off the water in my bathroom so the leak wouldn't spread/continue. I teach and got a bit worried when I saw 4 missed calls from them on my cell phone on my break, but was very happy with how they handled the situation. Absolutely never use this service. They scheduled two cleanings in the last three weeks and both were no-shows. They actually sent a text and e-mail the day before my cleaning today with the name and time of the service and no one arrived. When I called, their mailbox was full and when I e-mailed they claimed they did not receive it. No phone reply because they said they were at a "cleaning conference." I used their cleaning service in January 2019. It was my first time so this was a deep cleaning of the entire house minus the basement. I had 3 cleaners for 3.5 hours. I hired them because I was 9 months pregnant at that time and wanted to welcome new baby to a very clean home. The team arrived on time and was nice. I would say they did a fair job. There were certain areas that were overlooked, like i found a door mirror that had not been touched, window sills that hadn't been wiped down. And other nooks that still had dust. Areas that were reachable and visible, that I typically clean. They did a good job in the kitchen except I noticed the shelves in the door of the fridge has not been touched. I paid for extra time to have the walls cleaned and they looked the same. The young lady said that because of the type of paint she couldn't get them any cleaner, however, when they left I wiped down a couple of spotty areas and it was very easy to clean. And I didn't use any products just soapy water. They did take off $50 without me complaining about it. Overall, I feel they are overpriced for the quality of service you receive. I would say use them if you want a surface level clean that you don't have time to do yourself but don't expect anything to be immaculate. I'm a successful individual and have lived around the country - having used several cleaning services in the past without any problems. However, my first experience with this company was truly displeasing. The concern was about professionalism of which my experience with the company had told me they have very little. In short: I got the bait and switch. They performed tasks they were asked specifically not to do (for matters of time and money), they ignored tasks they were specifically instructed to perform, they complained to me and made inappropriate remarks in my presence, and to top it off one of them was on a personal phone call when I returned home to pay them (at which time, by the way, they are still clocked in on the job and charging me for.) These are only a handful of the problems I experienced over the hours I booked them for and not unexpectedly made me question the honesty and integrity of the company. To make matters worse, a polite call to voice my concerns to the office were not well received. My instinct was to believe that the woman on the other line was having a bad day and so I called back a few days later to ask again for an explanation as to why I was being charged for services that had not been performed (ones that were specifically requested) while at the same time paying for other services that I had in fact had asked them to specifically not perform. This time the woman on the line (a different individual) said she'd pass the message on. Shortly after, I received a highly charged email from the owner that sounded more like a legal disposition than an honest explanation of why things at my home had transpired as they did. In the email there appeared to be an attempt to mask the dishonesty and rude behavior that transpired and instead focused on the cost of service and why the bill totaled the amount that it did. I was particularly concerned that she - the owner - hadn't been informed about the true issue at hand, that is: why my specific requests for the cleaning had been ignored and why I was met with such unprofessional behavior (both by the cleaning staff and now the office staff re: first phone call.) In all honesty, I felt taken advantage of and ignored: first by being charged for tasks I did not approve and second by the office staff by continuing the displeasing behavior by shirking the blame and not offering an apology - which was literally all I was asking for. All I wanted them to do was take responsibility for their actions and apologize - which didn't happen. I can't understand how I - or how anyone for that matter - would deserve this kind of mistreatment but I will not use the service again. I can understand being overworked and tired, but walking in on a staff member making a personal call and having another employee complain and make a backhanded comment about my home when I'm paying for their services makes me wonder what I'm paying for because it certainly isn't professionalism. Bottom line: this place gave me the bait and switch and then threatened me with legal action if I didn't pay for the services they performed that I didn't agree to. It's 2010 - the days of dishonest business practices and discourteous/unprofessional service are over... You need to be kind and respectful to people and listen to their requests and concerns and honor them - not get angry and spiteful. This is update to my previous review. The manager of Executive Maids talked me into free cleaning. It means, to remove all disaster left by previous team. To be honest, I hesitated after my first experience.I was really difficult with her, but finally agreed. They sent me completely different team. And you know what? That team was fast, professional and extremely effective. They did excellent job, left me with sparkling kitchen and basement which never was in such state of brilliance. If i would get this team from the very beginning I would give this company 4 stars (-1 star because they are REALLY pricey). Now I am giving average: (0 stars for first experience +4 stars for second one)/2=2 stars. It is really pity that first team completely ruined my Thanksgiving mood. I have never used a cleaning service before contacting Executive Maids! My bathroom was recently remodeled and my home was covered in construction dust on the main floor as well as the bedroom area. Feeling overwhelmed by all of this work that I would have to do, I decided to contact Executive Maids! The team that came to my home were wonderful. They were polite and courteous and did an amazing job cleaning my home! They cleaned in areas where I haven't been able to get to for a while! When they were finished you would never have guessed that my bathroom had just been remodeled. The contractors were actually finishing up when the Maids arrived! There was not a speck of dust or dirt anywhere! They arrived on time and go over what areas are to be cleaned and get started right away! I have told my friends about it and how pleased I was with the work and hopefully they will contact them. I gave them a five star rating because they did the job and they did it right! If i could give 0 star, i would. they are VERY expensive ($120 per hour for a 3-person team), and they canceled on me at the last minute. We had set up an appointment, agreeing with all their terms and having signed their long contract with them for a one-time trial, they suddenly called 25 minutes before the appointment time to cancel saying "we're not the right service for you, and we won't reschedule with you". They did not accept customer's suggestions and questions well. When i was reviewing their contract, I pointed out a place where it conflicted with what she had told me over the phone, but she tried to argue with me over and over. I've been using Executive Maids for a couple of years now, and I can say without reservation or hesitation that they're the absolute best. They're the first and only cleaning service I've ever used that I've never had to complain about or do detail work after, and on top of the superlative job they do they're also unfailingly pleasant and reliable. Their organization is remarkably professional, and has been from the very first. When I contacted them for a price quote they explained the way that their pricing works (they clean the house a few times to get a feel for how much cleaning needs to be done/time will be taken and then provide a final price going forward). Their pricing is extremely competitive, which in and of itself is a shock considering the great job that they do. They call the day before their scheduled visit to provide a half-hour window for their arrival, and on cleaning day they always let me know if something has come up to delay them or to ask if it's alright for them to arrive early. They also give me a heads-up call ten minutes before their arrival so that I can crate my dogs (my preference, not theirs). Once in my home they provide just the right combination of friendliness and diligence. Though there is a core team, there are occasional new faces: whether first timers or familiar, they are always friendly, then get right to work, with each team member assigned a specific set of tasks that they coordinate upon arrival. Their cleaning is organized and meticulous, and once the team is done the supervisor checks everything before asking me to do the same. They leave with a smile. I also appreciate the cooperation and flexibility that they exhibit: if I need to change the schedule they always try their best. They are also gracious and good-humored about the fact that my husband and I both work from home. They allow us our space and work quietly, then when it's time for us to clear out so they can take care of the rooms that we're occupying, they gently point us to a room that they've finished so that we can all get our work done! It would take more than my two hands to count the number of cleaning services my husband and I have used in our lives, and up until Executive Maids I've found the same sad pattern with each: they do a terrific job for a month or three, then things start to fall off ... the honeymoon is over and the attention to detail fades. There's always been the sense that once our business is assured we're being taken for granted. This has not been the case with Executive Maids. We have always felt that we are valued, and their service has remained at the same consistently high level they exhibited at the start. I recommend them highly. read more

Here's the thing...nobody wants anyone in their home that they don't know...I don't. But boy did my jaded skepticism turn around after meeting the amazing crew from Executive Maids Philadelphia. Their professional and passionate manner really wowed me. Three expert cleaners showed up at my door with a can do attitude and smokes all round. I have never seen women so happy to clean. So funny. I wanted to get to know them better so I asked them so basic questions...how long have you been working with the company? How many homes did you clean today...etc. By the end of the service we were friends and I had a great deal of respect for each one. Their dedication ad attention to detail wowed me and they even opened up and let me in a little... They were hardworking women committed to doing a superior job and I was impressed. Executive maids broke something every time they were at my house. the crew would ask you to sign off that everything was ok in a hurry on their way out the door and later a picture frame would be broken or something else. The worst was when I asked them to clean my wood living room floor. Despite having a 4 person crew they dragged it and gouged a huge 2 foot cut into the wood. The staff is well trained and -if you treat them with respect-friendly and willing to meet any changing needs you may have. The owner is always available to discuss any concerns. If I could give less than 1 star, I would do so. They sent 3 people out to my home. They said it took over 2 hours to clean. My home is small & uncluttered. I even moved things out of their way. I got home & I was appalled at the job that they did. There was more things untouched than cleaned. I emailed them right away with pictures. They apologized & sent their quality control person out the next day to do what the other employees missed. He called & said he did everything. It took him about an hour. When I went home that day, there was still things that were obvious & in plain site that were not addressed. I took more pictures & sent another email. When thy called, they said there was nothing they could do. I do not mind paying a higher price for quality work. But this was anything but quality work. They promise you the world but not only do they not deliver, they charge you for it anyway. I would never recommend them. read more

RANT!! My daughter recently bought her first house. I thought it would be a good idea to hire a cleaning company to clean. Wrong! I would advise against hiring Executive Maids to do anything. I found them in Philadelphia Magazine so of course, I thought they were good. Wrong again! I had to ask them to clean certain things over again and they still weren't clean. I had requested that they clean the inside of the appliances and kitchen cabinets. I had to do them over again. When I expressed my concerns to Executive Maids first they questioned my integrity by requesting photos. Fortunately we had photos of the stove and dishwasher. They offered to come back and clean again. Did they really think I was going to let it stay that way? They have since not offered any compensation other then coming back and cleaning again. Oh, did I mention that they sent four people to do this cleaning and charged close to $300.00. Apparently their idea of cleaning is to wipe things down with a damp cloth. The girl doing the kitchen gave me the excuse that there was no aqua.
