    here's the corner - again I have to stress this was AFTER they mowed that morning on September 7th, 2022.

    Update to previous review : I have cancelled service with the company. After multiple attempts to address issues related to the quality of the mowing, I could no longer deal with having to feel like a jerk calling and complaining while paying more than I had ever been charged to mow a yard half the size of the one I had at my previous home. To Becca's credit, she had their mower come back out on 2 different occasions after I called to complain about the quality and sent photos showing how bad a job they'd done. However, as my previous review mentioned - the person they sent out to do the job never really addressed the issues fully. Their mower never seemed to actually string-trim areas where weeds would pop out like sidewalk cracks (see the attached photos for example), and if it was somewhere a regular push mower couldn't reach, they literally just ignored it to the point of it becoming a jungle. I got some email about how cutting the grass a certain way might "shock" the roots, and I'm not an arborist or expert at lawn care... but I'm pretty sure there's a happy medium between golf green and the Amazon rain-forest. All in all, I've attached pics showing my yard in early June 2022 when we had just started service with Executive Lawn Care, and then September 7th, 2022 several months later... You tell me - which looks like a more "well-kept" lawn? Before Executive Lawn Care? Or AFTER they'd been coming and mowing every 2 weeks for the entire summer?

    Clarification: ZERO STAR. I am a new homeowner, and this is my first time hiring mowers. My grass hadn't been cut for a month because I was too busy and had already looked into hiring somebody. I have an infant at home and have been very busy. As a first-timer, I didn't know I was supposed to discuss details regarding when the last mow was etc. That is the premise for this review. I had discussed with David, the owner, through Yelp messaging, regarding X amount plus tax every two weeks. I asked him for the terms and conditions before starting, a.k.a. the fine prints. Anything I should know about. He said none. Just a welcome email to set up my payment. So I said OK. Today, his guy comes and says my grass is overgrown and there would be an overgrowth charge. Jose, the manager, called me and said it would cost up to $90 total, depending on how long it takes to finish. Had I been made aware of this, I would have accepted the extra charge without complaint. Jose told me that "the girls usually would ask when was the last mow etc and discussed the potential of an overgrowth charge." Well, if David the owner doesn't even know how his business is being run, HE SHOULDN'T BE IN BUSINESS. After I told David why I'm upset and why I'm terminating the business relationship, this is his response "You need to contact the office number". NOT A SINGLE WORD OF APOLOGY. Jose had already apologized like 3 times, and it wasn't even his fault; he had nothing to do with it. If the owner isn't man enough to even say two words "I'm sorry," would you ever consider doing business with someone so unprofessional? I leave it up to you, potential future client of his, to decide whether to trust my negative review and multiple priors, and whether to go with this vompany.

    Trimmer dug into the dirt, but grass not trimmed.  Looked like this in lots of areas.

    I had surgery back in the spring and was out of commission, and so needed a mower over the summer. I told them that I have zoysia which does better mown high, but had to call in a few times to remind them to use their highest setting. Don't think that setting was used more than a couple of times. I have to concur with several of the other negative reviews here. The guy that mowed seemed to run through the yard, and didn't even use the mower for the side yard at least one time that I saw - he used the trimmer. But even the trimming was atrocious, often times scalping into the dirt and missing spots altogether. My lawn has been mown too low. The green tops were taken off, and whole sections of it browned up as a result. I've cancelled the service, but my lawn is pretty much messed up for the rest of what growing time we have left. These photos were taken just a few hours after service. Not the place to go if you're expecting a manicured look. Or trimming.

    Too expensive, for mediocre service. Lawn is not edge, just quickly mowed. Will not use again

    Best lawn mowing service we have tried in Frisco. We like that they are easy to talk to and do a great job. Always on time with mows.

I did a lot of research to try and find a company to take care of my lawn when we moved into the area and ended up choosing this company for lawn maintenance and weed and feed. The first season using this company, the guys to come and mow were pretty inconsistent. They would come out on the wrong day, miss weeks, etc. They would also come within an hour after a rain which I don't love because we end up with an inconsistent cut. This summer they run like a clock though and it seems like they just needed time to get us fixed into their rotation maybe? Ultimately, they are affordable compared to their competition and I like that they lower their frequency of mowing on their own based on the time of year. I do have less weeds in my yard as well even if the nutsedge is out of control which they tell me they can't do anything about. Overall, they are good enough that I wouldn't cancel them, but they aren't so good that someone else couldn't earn my business if they really wanted to. Hopefully the trend will continue and I will feel even better about them a year from now.

Nobody is going to sit and wait for them to show up where there is no specific date of service. I end up cancelling all services. Disappointed. Reply to the commentsl below. Yes I was out of town that's why the service was rescheduled to the week of May 11. What I am asking is if you can't provide service for the week I was told, send out a notification to your customer. Don't make it sound like it is my fault being out of town.

The contractor came out, marked up my lawn, sprayed grass killer, and began preparing the area. Shortly afterward, another contractor happened to stop by and offered a quote. Out of fairness, I wanted to validate pricing not to haggle, just to understand. Instead of having a professional conversation, RC Landscaping took offense and walked off the job entirely. What's worse is that he had already sprayed my yard, leaving me with dead, unsightly grass and no plan to repair or finish the work. Now I'm left scrambling to fix damage I didn't ask for just because I wanted to make an informed decision. The photo attached shows the current state of my lawn. It's clear, marked, and dead. This wasn't how I expected the relationship to end. If you're considering RC Landscaping, beware: if you seek clarity on price, they might just leave you mid-project. RESPONSE : I initially contacted RC Landscaping to help design flower beds for my front yard. We discussed expectations, and he even came out to mark the yard and spray it to prep for install. While I hadn't delivered the materials yet, I was planning to, and we had a start date set. Things changed when I asked a simple question about pricing. Another contractor had stopped by with a lower estimate, and I wanted to understand the difference--especially since only one bed was multi-layered and the rest were basic. I wasn't trying to cancel the job; just asking for clarity. Instead of a conversation, the contractor called off the job entirely, citing a lack of trust. I was left with patches of dead grass and no work done. I also asked to keep the drawing for reference (since I now have to start over), but was told no. The owner claims I was difficult or indecisive--but I have screenshots that show I was respectful and collaborative throughout. I never changed the job scope drastically--I asked thoughtful questions as part of normal planning. In the end, I can't recommend this business based on how the situation was handled. A simple follow-up led to the project being abandoned, and now I'm left cleaning up and restarting. Attaching screenshots from our actual conversation to provide context. I believe they show I was clear, respectful, and simply trying to understand pricing and next steps.
