Their Office staff are extremely responsive, answering emails very quickly and efficiently. Have no idea who owns the Company but whoever manages the Lawn Mowing part of it definitely knows what they are doing. I am so upset and have never had Lawn Care done so poorly then by Executive Lawn Care. I had another lawn care service that went MIA so lined up executive and tried to get them out last week but they could not come out until today so it was overgrown a bit. They tried to charge me double for the overgrown bits and then they agreed to lower the price. You would think it would be because they would have to bag it, but no, they obviously did not bag anything. I had vegetables that were spilling out over the raised planters, and they cut them all to hell, the yard looks like shredded ass. The worst I have ever experienced! They offered to send someone back out to fix it but to be honest, I don't want them anywhere near my yard ever again. I am so disappointed!!! read more

Update to previous review : I have cancelled service with the company. After multiple attempts to address issues related to the quality of the mowing, I could no longer deal with having to feel like a jerk calling and complaining while paying more than I had ever been charged to mow a yard half the size of the one I had at my previous home. To Becca's credit, she had their mower come back out on 2 different occasions after I called to complain about the quality and sent photos showing how bad a job they'd done. However, as my previous review mentioned - the person they sent out to do the job never really addressed the issues fully. Their mower never seemed to actually string-trim areas where weeds would pop out like sidewalk cracks (see the attached photos for example), and if it was somewhere a regular push mower couldn't reach, they literally just ignored it to the point of it becoming a jungle. I got some email about how cutting the grass a certain way might "shock" the roots, and I'm not an arborist or expert at lawn care... but I'm pretty sure there's a happy medium between golf green and the Amazon rain-forest. All in all, I've attached pics showing my yard in early June 2022 when we had just started service with Executive Lawn Care, and then September 7th, 2022 several months later... You tell me - which looks like a more "well-kept" lawn? Before Executive Lawn Care? Or AFTER they'd been coming and mowing every 2 weeks for the entire summer? read more

Clarification: ZERO STAR. I am a new homeowner, and this is my first time hiring mowers. My grass hadn't been cut for a month because I was too busy and had already looked into hiring somebody. I have an infant at home and have been very busy. As a first-timer, I didn't know I was supposed to discuss details regarding when the last mow was etc. That is the premise for this review. I had discussed with David, the owner, through Yelp messaging, regarding X amount plus tax every two weeks. I asked him for the terms and conditions before starting, a.k.a. the fine prints. Anything I should know about. He said none. Just a welcome email to set up my payment. So I said OK. Today, his guy comes and says my grass is overgrown and there would be an overgrowth charge. Jose, the manager, called me and said it would cost up to $90 total, depending on how long it takes to finish. Had I been made aware of this, I would have accepted the extra charge without complaint. Jose told me that "the girls usually would ask when was the last mow etc and discussed the potential of an overgrowth charge." Well, if David the owner doesn't even know how his business is being run, HE SHOULDN'T BE IN BUSINESS. After I told David why I'm upset and why I'm terminating the business relationship, this is his response "You need to contact the office number". NOT A SINGLE WORD OF APOLOGY. Jose had already apologized like 3 times, and it wasn't even his fault; he had nothing to do with it. If the owner isn't man enough to even say two words "I'm sorry," would you ever consider doing business with someone so unprofessional? I called several times telling them they are not edging and missing spots including my entire side yard and they continued to do 1/2 the job. I call to cancel and they could not care less. I had surgery back in the spring and was out of commission, and so needed a mower over the summer. I told them that I have zoysia which does better mown high, but had to call in a few times to remind them to use their highest setting. Don't think that setting was used more than a couple of times. I have to concur with several of the other negative reviews here. The guy that mowed seemed to run through the yard, and didn't even use the mower for the side yard at least one time that I saw - he used the trimmer. But even the trimming was atrocious, often times scalping into the dirt and missing spots altogether. My lawn has been mown too low. The green tops were taken off, and whole sections of it browned up as a result. I've cancelled the service, but my lawn is pretty much messed up for the rest of what growing time we have left. These photos were taken just a few hours after service. Not the place to go if you're expecting a manicured look. Or trimming. read more

At first the quality of work was excellent, but they went and changed crews and now they do an awful job! We have security cameras around the house and it shows the crew blowing leaves into our flower beds, our neighbors flower beds and in the road (which is against City ordinance); the edging job gave gullies instead of nice neat trim around curbs and sidewalks; the weed trimming was as never done correctly, and their use of a blowers was just awful. The only reason we kept them around is because you really can't find a decent lawn care company anymore. My husband and I are in our sixties, with underlying medical conditions, and can't do the yard work like we use to, so we put up with what we can get. The straw that finally broke the camels back was their leaf removal. It was monthly for January, February, and March, for $130 a job. They couldn't get out before Christmas to clean up the fall droppings, so my husband and I had to do the work ourselves as we are not going to give our neighbors a bad yard to look at. Also as anyone out there knows, there are no leaves left on Oak trees in the winter. read more

Nope and nope. They send different crews each time (some who care and know what they're doing and some who don't). They don't respond to issues (I addressed via email twice - no response on either issue). And they love to mow in mid-October when there's nothing to cut but they can charge you full price. We first utilized Executive in August of 2020 for bed/brush service, shrub trimmings and some fresh mulch. They did an amazing job and were timely wit5h the work. They do guarantee when they will come but they give you a timeframe such a 5-7 days, dependent on their books. Fast forward to yesterday, we had them come back out to freshen up the bed/brush and perform the same exact services. They quoted us a fair price which was far less than our August work, since the bed looked 100 times better than the initial visit in August of 2020. They came yesterday and took almost the same amount of time to complete the work, even though this was a refresh service and the final price was almost $80 more than the estimate. It gets better. They didn't actually complete the work and left the shrubs completely untrimmed and undone. I contacted them on today to advise of the incomplete service. Upon speaking with them they confirmed the final price to which I questioned and they basically said "it's an estimate" and the guys take their time. I don't understand how the initial job which was a complete mess of work, took almost the same amount time as a refresh job. It doesn't make sense. The rep advised she can get them back out BUT that it will cost more money for them to finish the job. I was outdone. We decided to trim our own shrubs and cancel the job completion with them. This company needs a better scheduling system and a better estimate process. It makes no sense to me how an initial job and a refresh job would be almost identical in timing as well pricing. I would avoid using them and utilizing a company with an overall better system/process for booking and pricing. I won't be utilizing them further at this point. Super disappointed! read more

This company is far more efficient taking money from your bank account every week than providing quality service. Owner hides from customers when there are problems. First three weeks were great and then quality was dropped like a sack of potatoes. My yard now looks like a corn field after harvest. Call and you'll get a pleasant voice but nothing gets corrected. David, the owner won't return calls. As a family with a small business, I'm sympathetic to the long hours and fatigue from customer complaints. Used to be good but their service has diminished past 18 months. They didn't show up when they were supposed to mow. Using Covid as an excuse when everyone else has to deal with Covid gets old pretty quick. They sent a guy out today to do my once a month mowing. I watched the guy pile the leaves up in a big pile and then tell me that I had too many leaves and he would have to talk to his boss about charging me more. Called office and was talked down to by the person on the phone. Said they took care of leaves last two years as a "courtesy". Last year they came out too early and missed most of the leaves that fell. They charged me a second time to come out for that "courtesy". This company can consider itself fired. read more

I used them 3 weeks in a row. Each time I had to call back and ask for a little change, ie. A little shorter, please trim around marked sprinkler heads, and please have them mow on the side of my house too. The last time I ask the gentlemen if he could weed eat along my fence, because there were mushrooms sticking up I could see from my patio. It didn't happen. I was told last week they may not understand English, however when I ask the man about trimming the fence his response was, "I think it's going to rain" They were still scheduled to come this week, even with my building frustration. They no showed. Didn't call to reschedule, and when I called it appears they were not accepting messages. Not at all, but from me. I have already hired a new a new company. That's no problem. I felt I was kind to these people. I even loaded them up with 4 Dr. Peppers the last day they were here. I had asked to speak to a manager before to make things better and the young woman says call back at such and such time. My next thing to do today is to go on Facebook and let future clientele know how your company treats its customers. We moved to the Celina area from Frisco where we used a lawn service that was not available up at our new home. Thus, the search began. We signed up with Executive Lawn Care after a thorough search for companies in the area because they had the best reviews and we're priced just right for the services we needed. We needed basic weekly lawn service and they did just that without all the up selling. Also, they offer bi-weekly service and we transitioned over to that during the fall. We recommend their services and if we ever have a question their office staff are pleasant and courteous. If you hate mowing, don't want to spend the money to get your own mower and all the maintenance included and or have the time to work on your lawn, you would do well to call Executive Lawn Care. I have been using ELC for about a year and a half and I dont have any complaints. Communication is very good. Whenever I have a question or concern about something I send an email and it's usually answered right away. The lawn mowing service is very efficient. The lawn crews do excellent work. My dissatisfaction is with the management. A couple months back I signed up for them to manage my lawn care. The lady on the phone was very nice and asked for my address. Upon giving her my address she quoted me a price of $27 per cut which was based on the size of the house (~3150sgft) and lot size. I agreed with the price and they began the service the same week. Yesterday as I was balancing my bank account I noticed that I was charged $42.21, more than $15 above the agreed price! I called their office and David answered the phone. I told him of my initial conversations but he didn't want to hear it. Stated that the $42.21 was the correct price regardless of what was initially agreed. Needless to say I cancelled their service and signed up with one of the competitors servicing our subdivision for $25 per cut. It's extremely poor business ethics to not standby agreements made between company staff and customers. read more

They show up in vehicles that are junk yard ready but that is besides the point. They do a horrible job of cutting and edging, it looks like a novice cut my yard each time. The first time ELC mowed for me It was great! they showed up at the time i requested. Everything was done as David and I had discussed. The second time, it had rained that morning ... soooo there was alittle delay and I gave room for that , then the next week the same thing. The fourth week, from that point on has been absolutely awful, debri blown into flowerbeds, poor blowing of any concrete areas if any blowing at all. No edging alone fence line. It was a basic mow blow and go. here no more then 15 min. and I have a fair size property. I have asked for David to call me numerous times, and I have yet to get a call. According to office manager he is "out" . One of two things, He is not getting my messages, or he is just not returning calls. The people coming to mow from what I can tell are just contracted people.... have mower will travel. There is no personal service what so ever. They are there to mow blow and go and do as little as possible. read more

I have used Executive Lawn Care for about a year. Prior to the last dormant season, I was fairly satisfied with the quality of their service. They showed up each week and did a fairly consistent job mowing, weedwacking, and edging. Unfortunately, they haven't been able to deliver the same level of service this year. On several occasions they have missed mowing sections of our yard, didn't weed wack, or do a good job blowing off the debris. I recently complained about the standard of work and was reassured that immediate action would be taken. The result was another week without weed wacking my backyard and substandard work. I was quoted $39.99 which was reasonable. I explained that due to the recent rain and my service had retired suddenly that I would need my yard bagged. They advised the additional cost to bag would be $7.00, in which I agree. Upon their arrival to my yard I received a phone call from the mower advising that due to the time it would take for them to mow could be anywhere from an additional $60.00 to $80.00. I was kinda over the barrel. It took them about 40 minutes for them to cut my grass; so I called to let the office know how long it took them to cut my yard and I would not be expecting a $60.00 bill. Well much to my surprise I ended up paying $80.00. I am furious needless to say. My regular more charged $40.00 and he always spent at least an hour on my yard. Plus these guys left a huge mess in front of the house to boot. RIP OFF FOR SURE PLUS YOU SHOULD SEE HOW THEY CHOPPED UP THE NEIGHBORS YARD FLYING SINCE HER HOME IS NOT FENCED. Horrible customer service. They will mow your lawn but they will not provide invoices or receipts. And services outside lawn mowing (weeding, hedge trims) they will tell you they will "put you on the schedule" and then never do it. Also charged for things they did not do.
