She led me to addressing room, where I put on the dress, and she proceeded to pin it to the height/length I wanted. She said it would be ready in three days. I was quite happy since I wanted to wear it for a special occasion. when she gave me the bill, I almost fainted the price for hemming a cotton dress with no lining was $40. when I picked up the dress it was perfectly hemmed but I felt it was overpriced.

It got so bad that sometimes I would just buy new clothes instead of dealing with the piles of laundry. Then one day, I got a mailer from American Dry Cleaners about their delivery service, and it honestly felt like perfect timing. Signing up was super easy. Three days later, they picked up six loads of laundry from my house, and when they brought everything back, it was in amazing condition. Now, I don't even think about laundry anymore. I just leave it outside on my designated day, and they handle everything. It's been such a relief for my hectic schedule, and I finally have one less thing to worry about. If you're busy like me and need something reliable and convenient, I can't recommend them enough!

I brought my gold Vince velvet top (original retail price $425 at Neiman Marcus) to Diamond…read moreCleaners Port Orange for a simple cleaning, trusting their expertise with delicate fabrics. What I got back was a ruined garment: the once-fluffy gold velvet is now matted and irregular, with clearly defined, uneven demarcations from what looks like improper heat treatment or pressing. The once-luxurious texture is flattened in large patches, making it unwearable and impossible to restore. The damage is consistent with the appearance of velvet that was heated or treated with chemicals improperly. I explained the issue to the owner, who argued with me that there is no damage. He even tried to claim it is the lighting and talk me out of my damage claim. He offered no acknowledgement of their error, no apology and would only refund my dry-cleaning costs if I signed a waiver of my right to pursue damages. Further, he threatened to sue me for slander if I posted evidence of their damage to my velvet garment online. This isn't just extremely poor service; it's negligence that has cost me hundreds of dollars. Do not trust them with anything valuable or delicate. I found the owner to be dishonest and manipulative. I'll be taking my business elsewhere and warning others to do the same.

They are very expensive, but fairly convenient to my job. they have ridiculous hours...they close at 1pm on Saturdays and are totally closed on Sundays. Since when is a service catered to working people supposed to only be open during regular business hours? The first time I came, they only had half of the 14 shirts I brought in. They forgot to pick the others up from their actual laundry. The second time, they had completely lost a shirt. Not sure how such a terrible, unfriendly place even stays open. I have a place in NJ that I go out of my way for because they are quick, they do the job, and there are never any surprises. Looking to find a place in this area, I was pointed here. Yes, they do consolidate their cleaning so it is not processed on site. However, what was a surprise--and a pleasant surprise--was the process as a customer. Getting a text with ALL my shirts photographed before they were cleaned? The ability to pre-pay and say I was on the way to pick them up after they were done? Going into the place and seeing them on the rack in front of me for pickup when I got there? That, I'm not used to and it was all pretty amazing to me.
