My schedule doesn't allow me to wait around all day, nor should it be my responsibility to adjust because of his lack of professionalism. I arrived early and Danny was finishing up with another client, I waited 45 minutes and when Danny finished with his client he cleaned up his booth and disappeared. Never received any acknowledgment. Today was the first time I used this barbershop since I am new to the area. The short version is I got a good haircut, but was treated more like a nuisance rather than a new, valued customer. Here's the long version...I researched barbershops and barbers to determine who would be a good choice for me. I had been going to the same barber for almost 15 years so this was a big change for me. After a fair amount of research, I made an appointment at Executive Barbershop and arrived on time. The barber was busy finishing up a client so I sat down and waited. I heard him ask a co-worker if they could take me. I chimed in to say that I was happy waiting, but my barber told me that he was very busy and since I was a new client I could be helped by anyone. I politely explained that I had researched the barbershop and the barbers and I made a specific appointment that I preferred to keep. He told me again how busy he was, but I insisted that I was fine waiting. I waited about 15 minutes and he was ready for me. I explained how I wanted my hair cut and he did a nice job and was quick about it. As he cut my hair he again told me how busy he was for a 3rd time. I explained to him in more detail that I was new to the area and had done specific research so I was excited to find a new barber, but he seemed to think that was more odd than a compliment. In my experience, people only tell you how busy they are if they are trying to avoid you. The fact that I was a new customer seemed to be a nuisance. The barber did not ask my permission on whether I wanted to be helped by another barber; I was simply assigned to another barber until I objected. And, finally, at no point did the barber apologize. So, I feel I got a good haircut at a fair price, but the excitement I felt when I arrived turned to a depressed feeling after I left. I have not decided whether I'll go back again, but I thought I should at least share my experience for any other newbies. read more

I made an appointment last week for a haircut today. At the end of the day, I received a text that they cancelled my appointment. I called and left a message asking why. I got a call back. The person told me that they now scheduled me with a different person because the other person quit that day. Today(day of my appointment) I received a text that the person I had an appointment with can't make it because she won't be there because of an issue at home. This other person(3rd one now) was going to take me. Then an hour before my appointment I received another text that my appointment with the 2nd person was cancelled. I texted the 3rd person back to confirm that we were still on. No response. I called, when to voicemail. I decided to go there assuming that the 3rd person will take me. I arrived 15 mins early. The 2nd person that was supposed to cut my hair, but had a personal emergency was in the other room sleeping on a barber chair. As I sat waiting for my appointment, another person walked in, and the 2nd person(who was sleeping and wasn't supposed to be there due to emergency) waived him over to give him a haircut at the 3pm appointment time that I had. Then the 3rd person came over to me and told me that she is now overbooked and therefore, can't help me. So 19 miles round trip, left work early, and no haircut. Beware! read more

I usually get a pretty good haircut there no matter who I see. I am mostly writing a review to say the numerous price increases over the last few years have started to seem excessive. It's now $31 compared to around $20 when I started coming here a few years ago. I get that everything's going up, but I think it's common to grandfather in existing clients for a while so they're not paying the same fee as a new customer. read more

Had a lady this morning for a haircut and shave. Cut the top of my hair very short despite her saying she'll cut "conservative." When getting a hot shave multiple places were missed and my face had more than 5 cuts that are still bleeding right now at 2:30. I even had to ask if the blade was dull at first. I have been getting my hair cut with these guys for years, and have loyally followed them through moves as the service and cut quality are so exceptional.
