Easy to book a "Discovery Flight" 1 hour of all the things flying with BRANDON. You must book with him! He is so on top of it. So respectful and you learn so much without realizing it. My father is 91 yrs old, people think you cannot learn something new. He said he wanted to fly. We found Vegas Aviation and it was ON!! This is the best brain food out there for a man that will not stop. He is going again and I cannot contain his enthusiasm, nor do I want to. He has no interest in flying with anyone but Brandon because Brandon treated him so wonderfully. Brandon even made sure that pix were taken so he could share. Thank you so much!! Kevin was very attentive and friendly. Keilani was a great instructor, we trusted her expertise and she made the entire flight a stress-free experience. Super accommodating and the Discovery Flight for locals was a really good deal ($100). I really hope my husband pursues flying and I think we'd feel super confident with the team here.

A huge thank you to my instructor, Blaise, who was instrumental in guiding me through the training and keeping me on track. The owner, Luis, is fantastic to work with. He takes the time to sit down, talk you through your training, and break down complex concepts. I had so many "lightbulb" moments after speaking with him! Plus, because Luis is also the mechanic, you can rest easy knowing the aircraft fleet is impeccably maintained and well cared for. If you want an efficient school that truly cares about your progression and gets results, Flyright Aviation is the place to go.

Luis runs his business with honesty and integrity. It's very noticeable that he cares. I called Luis at the very beginning of February and asked if he would be able to facilitate me getting my private pilots in an accelerated manner. I am from out of town and only had a month of availability to work with. I had a bit of prior flying experience, though it had been years since I last flew. I was definitely rusty. I was also struggling to retain the information from the online ground school platforms so I requested ground instruction. Luis assessed where my skill level, and with my instructor Travis, we came up with a plan to work towards my goal. Travis was thorough, organized, patient, and knowledgeable. He was very dedicated to giving me as much ground and flight instruction that I could handle. And he worked with the ambitious time frame I set for us. The schedule was demanding and rigorous, and there is still so much to learn. But with the quality instruction from Travis and Nikki and Luis's dedication to my success. I can proudly say the I got my private pilots license in a month. With ground instruction, and full flight hours. I have so much gratitude for the flyright team and hope to come back for my next endorsements. Thank you!

If you're already pilot rated, this business offers aircraft cleaning, maintenance, and parking. My boyfriend is learning to fly so we tried this training center to add to his log. He bought an extra half hour which allowed us to go over Boulder Dam and the Strip despite Aviation Nation practice. I didn't have my usual fear of heights! I recommend this place if you want flight experience. Other companies use their flight simulator for interviews. The Cirrus (SR22?) we rode in was air-conditioned. It also has a parachute system. They also have a couple of Cessnas. They don't have financial aid available. Unlike the company we used in Hayward, we had to pay a fuel surcharge here. We skipped ground instruction outside of where to add fuel. We're doing pay-as-you-go because its too expensive to commit to being something like a certified flight instructor. You can make an appointment to fly anytime between sunrise and sunset.

They will use every trick in the book to lock you into a contract and have you put money down in advance toward your flight training and you're forced to follow their stupid syllabus, which drags your flight training forever. I personally started asking around the airport for alternative options and found a different flight school. Better instructors, friendlier environment, and of course you pay as you go without any syllabus nonsense. Happy flying!!

I completed my private pilot license with Jamie several years ago. It was an amazing experience…read more As an educational professional and engineer, I had always wanted to finish the private pilot license that I started when I was in school. I started back up but doing one hour a week with my local instructor I could see it was going to take another year at least. Progress was slow. Looking for an alternative, I got in touch with Jamie. My first step was to finish the written exam myself. I engaged in self study, took a course, created tons of flashcards and did quite well. Then I went out and spent 2 weeks with Jamie. We flew almost every day. Some days were frustrating. Nothing would work. Then a day it would all click, and another day of regression, then it would finally all come together. I passed the checkride on the first attempt. Jamie has a good style for professionals. As an engineer and teacher, I probably had too many questions. I kept asking him how do I know when I'm about to touch the runway? How do I see it? Why isn't there a radar? Why are the instruments so small? etc etc. Of course he showed me all the moves, but he always came back to something along the lines of you just need to do it 300 times. And we'd go up back in the pattern and do it again. And again. I started having nightmares about French Valley airport. But I got it. I would definitely do it again. I haven't flown in a while and I may need to do it again in fact.

Jamie was super helpful and flexible in arranging several days where we did nothing but flight training, and I passed my checkride on the first try. He was great at injecting surprises into my training that made me a better pilot. My favorite was when the engine "failed" on takeoff - nobody else had ever done that to me in almost 80 hours of training - and I'm grateful for the knowledge that I can handle any crisis. If I had it to do over again, I'd start off with Fly Accelerated training - just take the time off work and do the training all at once. You'll get it done faster and can broaden your experience with other planes later with local instructors easier than if you are trying to balance your work schedule and flight training and raising kids or whatever else you have on your plate. In the long run you'll save money if you just do it all at once, and Jamie is top-notch.
