One of the only places we have found that knows how to cut doodles correctly! Highly recommend Deana or Taylor.

First let me start with I waiting a week before I tried to contact the owner so I could cool off…read moreand not reacted in a hateful manner. We have used Tannenberg Pet Resort two times. The first time was for a weekend and only a few days. We were happy with the way our dog was taken care of and how they were able to fit our dog in seeing they were full. The second time we were not happy at all. We dropped our dog off May 6th 2025 and picked him up after 9:00 am on May 12th 2025. I brought his food and a blanket with us because he is so attached to my husband and wanted him to have something with his dads smell on it. Just so he would feel comfortable while we were gone. We arrived to pick him up the lady at the counter asked if he was scheduled to have a bath and we said yes and she said OK. We paid and she asked for his collar and leash and she would go get him for us. when he was brought out to us his ears were back and He had brush marks in his fur with the strong smell of doggie cologne. (I thought it was just the smell of the dog shampoo until we got home.) She told me he had not ate yet this morning. I said OK I will feed him when we get home. When we took him outside to load him in the truck, he peed a long time then ran to the grass and pooped telling me he had not been out yet that morning. I told the lady that we had a blanket and she said oh let me go get it. She brought it out to me in a bag and said it was in the washer waiting to be washed. I said that is ok I will wash it. the blanket smelled and had something on it not sure what it was. The odor was like it had laid in the bottom of an outhouse. When we got home, he ate right away. He held his ears back for most of the day and was not his playful self. We went outside and came back in and I smelt an odor that was so bad. I cleaned out my trash can clean the garbage disposal. Still the smell was ungodly. Then I bent down to hug my dog and there it was. As a dog owner maybe, I spoil my dog too much and many may not think it is a big deal, but I feel like my dog laid in a cage for 6 days in his own feces. Just a side note our dog has never peed or pooped in the house. He would hold it until someone got home. telling me he pooped and peed in the cage because he had no choice. This is the reason I waited a week before contacting them because every time my dog looked at me, he had sad eyes and I felt so bad for what I let my dog go through. My heart was breaking every time I looked at him. I know if I would have talked to someone the moment I found out where the smell was coming from (by the way we paid for a bath) that I would not have a kind thing to say. all I have to say is shame on the staff at Tannenberg!!!! After speaking to the owner and hearing her tell me what Tannenberg offers and what she expects from her staff I would have written a different review if that was the service my dog received. With that being said I will not be using this business again. I hope this helps open the eyes of the staff and helps them to better themselves and helps fill the expectations of the owner. Also that the owner takes this to heart and fills her staff with people who really care for pets the way a pet owner would.

We were impressed…read morewith how quickly they scheduled an appointment for an eye infection even though we were new customers. They've continued to be accommodating -- often providing same-day or next-day appointments as needs arise. The staff is friendly and professional, and they make our dog feel comfortable and welcome. They seem to love animals. In addition, the office staff members detail estimates for examinations and medications, so there are no surprises when the vet visit is done. Our primary vet, Dr. Wedding, is knowledgeable and thorough and is particularly adept at providing detailed information and answering questions. We've never felt rushed during an appointment, and we appreciate Dr. Wedding's willingness to listen, her expertise and her kindness and her ability to bond with our young pup. Dr. Steph has also provided excellent care when Dr. Wedding wasn't available, as has Beall. Overall, we've had a great experience with this office.

Yesterday I called since I saved money over the weekend to get my cat in. Emily told me how lucky for me it would be wellness Wednesday and no office visit charge. A savings of 92 dollars. I was glowing. Bragging about this place. . Gave my youngest Godson 20 dollars to eat with his girlfriend. Today I'm checking out and the girl charges me this amount and I excepted to pay for his medication. Now we are at 160 dollars. I said Emily told me no office charge. This girl said that's only if I got vaccines etc. I don't count. I replied you know I. Spent the money since I was told this yesterday, paying this will send my account into the red. I might as well been speaking Chinese or to Hellen Keller herself with the lack of empathy and indifference this young lady showed. I'm a waiter and don't work till tomorrow so tonight add midnight I will be charged a 37 dollar fee from my bank. If something else I recently paid hits the service fee will double. So now what was supposed to to be about 50 dollars will be in excess of 200 potentially. I'm definitely behind on the 92 dollars they charge. And the fee of 37. The inconsistency of this staff is causing me a financial landslide I get to deal with over the next few days. Unbelievable. Thanks for your support today. The girl should have said let me see what I can do. Nope it's all about getting that money and telling me I don't count. WOW.
