Literally the only place in town that can or is willing to tailor a suit jacket at the shoulder. I have T-Rex arms and most of my tops require shortening the sleeves ~1.5" to fit perfectly. I have several jackets with workable buttons that cannot simply be shortened at the sleeve opening and require it to be done from the shoulder to preserve the buttons. Obviously this isn't cheap ($120 vs ~$40) but Milton and his ladies have done 2 for me now and they've been perfect. I've also had 2 other suits altered and the inseam and waist adjusted on probably a half dozen shirts and pants. They also guarantee and stand behind their work. If anything doesn't fit perfectly, they'll redo it until you're satisfied. I've probably spent close to $1k in alterations here and while that's a lot of money, it's absolutely worth it. I regret not coming here sooner instead of wasting money at the less expensive places whose work was just okay/average. Bonus points for also being a Hispanic/Latino run business! read more

I came here because this is the place that my employer goes to for all of our uniform alterations. I also know that this place does amazing work with high end garments. There are other places to get things altered, but the the attentiveness and the way I was treated when I walked in really stood out to me. This place is great! I have almost everything I buy tailored - suits, sport jackets, pants and shirts (including the sleeves shortened on dress shirts which is NOT easy to do). Everything has come back on time and looking perfect. The sleeves on the dress shirts look so perfect you'd never know they were taken completely apart and put back together. Once you wear a custom fitted garment done by Exclusive Tailoring you'll never go back to just store bought sizes. For the price of the custom wear, it's a better option to go custom from Exclusive Tailoring than it is to wear garments from the store. I came in here because it's one of the closest Alterations places to my house and had great reviews. My husband has come in here before and they were very honest about which pants needed to be tailored and which didn't. The price was fair for him. When I came in with a wedding dress, my alteration price was thru the roof. All I needed was hemming. But I think they saw white and knew I was getting married and decided to up charge me. It's sucks considering weddings are so expensive as is. We were eloping and I received my dress pretty late from the internet. I came in on a Tuesday and was flying out to Reno for work for one day. I wouldn't have been able to get to a tailor till Thursday. I was getting married Monday. So I was in a bit of a rush and had to bite the $200 bullet to get my dress altered. Mind you, I bought my dress for $250 online. Looking at the glass half full, in total my dress cost me $450. Which definitely isn't bad for a white wedding dress. They did do a good job, However, I definitely don't think it warranted a $200 hem. They lost a potential forever customer. I now have two more dresses that I need to shorten and I am looking at other tailors. read more

Absolutely the best place in town the staff if freaking amazing very nice polite and friendly, I took a jacket in to this place after a different place refused to correct some issues with it FTER BUYING IT FROM Hong Kong and the lady there told me oh no you just go buy a new jacket they would not even look or consider correcting the zipper or any other issue I was having. Not only did staff here listen to the the issues I was having but they went over everything and fixed everything perfectly way above and beyond then I personally thought. I got a dress last minute for my brother in laws wedding. It was the last of its kind. The only problem was that it was loose at the top and too long. I called 4 tailoring shops before calling exclusive tailoring - I chose this shop because they were the only ones who were polite on the phone! Even in person, they're so respectful and ask you for your vision, what do you want done. They have dressing rooms to try on your clothes, in my case, my dress and then have you stand on a podium to get your consult done. It was quick and easy! My dress was ready in about a week! My beautiful wedding dress was ruined early August (plenty of time for alterations) by a seamstress there by steaming dressmakers chalk into 100% silk. This should have been removed before steaming. Now in their defense they tried and tried to rectify the situation over 2 weeks (kudos) but with my wedding then being 1 week away I was forced to buy a new dress and forgo alterations. We ended up having to file a claim with their insurance company, Liberty Mutual, and the insurance company found my claim was valid and paid exclusive tailors (as a 1st party) the entire amount of my dress. The check was released to them on 9/10/18. I'm not referencing a $500 check either. I am owed over $3,000!!! I have contacted Milton twice over the last several weeks and Milton assured me he would call me when the check cleared. Well fast forward 36 days. 5 WEEKS! It does not take 30+ days for an insurance check to clear. That money is owed to me. I called and left a message again today for Milton. If I do not get a check this week I will take further action. It's a shame too because I've used them before with great results. It's bad enough my custom wedding dress that I waited 16 weeks to get was ruined after I needed them to fix one thing... but to be ignored when you, me and your insurance company know you were wrong. I would now never refer a single person to this place again! Good luck to anyone who uses them and has an issue. It will be months before the issue is resolved! I've been bring my alterations to Milton since 2005 before he opened his own shop, Exclusive Tailoring. He does amazing work on some intricate fabrics like silk, knit cashmere and leathers.
