AJ's Alterations - Perfect Suit - Sewing & Alterations Near Me - Las Vegas, Nevada

Very expensive and lost my ticket and had a hard time finding my clothes. They didn't add a zipper to my skirt like I asked for and the thread work is not good. This place has good reviews so I trusted it but will not be going back. read more

AJ's Alterations - poor thread work for $90 - Sewing & Alterations Near Me - Las Vegas, Nevada

I have brought countless projects here over the years. I am a seamstress myself, but I hate zippers. AJ is the BEST with zippers: invisible, separating, jeans, backpacks. And AJ is the most honest tailor on the planet. They are approximately priced and up front with costs. If he can't give you a flawless garment, he will tell you right away. They are always on time. Great communication. Will ALWAYS come back here. read more

Absolutely the best seamstress and staff. Friendly and timely Professional and cleaned dressing rooms. Quality of work excellent. Great location read more

AJ's Altertations is incredible! We were in Vegas from California for my sister's wedding which was planned in less than a week. My other sister and I purchased our bridesmaid dresses online and didn't have time to get them altered. The dresses were made of flowy chiffon with a liner so pinning them didn't work. AJ's was able to alter them in one hour, shortening the length and pulling up the shoulders and we only paid $160 for both dresses. Thank you AJ's. read more

As a professional entertainer with over 30 years in the industry, my wardrobe is my livelihood--and I don't trust just anyone with it. AJ's Alterations has been my go-to in Las Vegas for years, and they've never let me down. It's a husband and wife team who consistently deliver top-quality work, even with my most intricate and delicate stage outfits--think sequins, custom fits, and pieces that need to show off the body just right. Their skill and attention to detail is unmatched, especially for performers who require precision. There was even one piece I thought I had lost for years, and they ended up finding it and holding it for me. That kind of integrity and care is rare these days. I've tried other places around town, but I always end up coming back to AJ's. Their prices are fair, their work is flawless, and they're just genuinely good people. Yes, the location is right by Allegiant Stadium, which is a bit of a haul from Summerlin--but honestly, they're worth the drive every time. I trust them completely with my wardrobe, which is essentially my work, and I always leave happy. Highly recommend to anyone who needs reliable, expert alterations--especially if you're in entertainment or have garments that require extra finesse. read more

Great service! Had to stop in for my work shirts. Got the right size. Very nice customer service. Less than 5mins. Located behind the Allegiant Stadium on Ali Baba Lane. Plenty of parking read more

Forever going here for all of my alteration needs! In the spring of 2022, I had a work gala coming up and I needed a gown I purchased fixed in a couple ways and it all needed to be done very soon. It didn't fit perfectly, so it needed to be taken in. It also needed to be shorter so it didn't drag on the ground, there was a small hole in one of the seams and I was also asking for a slit to be put in. They did everything in one day. ONE DAY. I was not expecting that fast of service. I went and picked up the gown and was amazed. Everything was done perfectly. I couldn't even tell where the small hole once was! I can't remember the exact price but it was very reasonable, affordable and honestly surprising how cheap it was for all that I was asking and to be done in one day. Just...wow. read more

Speedy service. Requested rush. They did only hem one layer of my daughter's dress. She had to cut off a couple of inches on the inner layer because it was that much longer than the outer layer of the dress and wasn't hemmed at all. They did do a good job on the hemming of her outer layer. I asked for my dress to be hemmed a little shorter than usual, but the dress was lying on the floor. It was about 1/2" too long. I can't be too upset because I asked for an extreme rush, which they accommodated. I would give it three stars because the work was hit-and-miss, but they did have to rush. read more

I called this morning to see if they can squeeze in an alteration for a dress that needed the top taken in. The lady on the phone said to bring it in right away which I did. When I got there, I tried the dress on l, she pinned the back, gave me a quote and told me to pick it up by 1 PM. I went to get the dress at 1 PM like quoted And it fits perfectly. Very fast very professional service will definitely use them again. read more

I put a few suits and shirts in because of the positive ratings. They taught the ability to turn things around quickly. I told them "no problem". "I can give you 8 days but really important it be done well and on time". I return 8 days later, the morning of my good friend's funeral and they have DONE NOTHING! ZERO! "We were busy and did not see it". Unreal. I WOULD NEVER EVER USE THEM. This is my first Yelp review ever. Only this level of incompetence motivated me as normally I am pretty forgiving. But insane. Don't be fooled. read more

AJ's alterations is the BEST!!! The first time I went I needed a jacket altered for that day ! They did it while I waited !!! They are truly amazing! Since my first experience with them I have been back at least a dozen times with various other things and they do not disappoint! I just can't say enough good things about AJ and his staff ! Now when I go shopping ... if something doesn't fit , no worries I have AJ's alterations! read more

Very short notice, excellent service. Clean surrounding area, decent parking, not too hard to find. 2 fitting rooms and a small seating area available inside. I needed alterations for groomsmen done within a couple of days and just walked in hoping for the best. Walked in with suits we got from another place. AJ himself was there when we arrived, and served us without an appointment, with a smile on his face. We agreed to pick up the suits next day first thing in the morning, and they fit perfectly upon pick up. In the future, I will definitely consider buying a suit from AJ directly. The employees were all very helpful as well. Thank you AJ and team! read more

Only place in town that is open early! Very friendly from the moment we walked in to when we left! Great Prices!!

I've found an awesome tailor shop that does great, fast alterations. I bought two pair of jeans from Blaze N Bling. The 36" inseam was about 4" too long. One pair was solid black and required standard hemming. My Fancy Bling Butt Jeans needed special hemming to keep the original stitching and slightly frayed bottom edge. Regular hem costs $10, the fancy hem costs $15. The best thing is they will do simple alterations while you wait. The mantra is $10 in 10 minutes. I said I could wait a day which seemed to be appreciated. They did a fantastic job. read more

AJ's Alterations - They can do special hemming to keep the original stitching and slightly frayed bottom edge. - Sewing & Alterations Near Me - Las Vegas, Nevada

Went here in a hurry to get some dress pants hemmed for a wedding the next day. I asked them how fast they could finish the job and when I could pick my pants up. The lady said, "you just want to wait 10 minutes?" They hemmed em right then and there; and I paid and was outta there in 20 total minutes. Probably not always this fast, but I was impressed! They did a great job as well ! read more

Excellent and fast service, with a great price. My formal dress needed to be hemmed and I couldn't find anywhere to get it done in less than 2 days, and my formal was the same day. They took care of me, and made sure that my dress was perfectly fitted. I will go to them for all of my events in the future!! read more

Very quick turnaround and excellent pricing. Went in and got two pants hemmed ready the next day

THEY DO SAME DAY ALTERATIONS!!! AJ's saved my life! I received a call for a job interview for the following day, and didn't have any pants that fit! I found a pair, but needed them hemmed. I found this hidden gem and couldn't have been happier! I walked in, got measured, and had my pants hemmed in under 5 minutes! FIVE MINUTES! AND IT WAS ONLY $10!!! Overall, AJ's Alterations is AMAZING!!! read more

We were in town for a convention and needed last minute alterations to a pair of jeans and a formal gown. AJs took our rush order without charging more, and they did an excellent job. Just double check the length of hem suggestion for jeans to make sure it won't be too short. We asked for 1.5" longer than her original suggestion, but I think that could happen anywhere since jeans length it's a personal preference read more

They sure do live up to to it! 10 minutes = 10 dollars! I live about 15 minutes from them but I called prior to coming in to make sure they can actually do my hemming right there and then. I called another shop that does same day alteration and is relatively close to me. But it all came down to the person I spoke with on the phone. The guy at AJ's sounded sure and sincere, while the other one sounded like she's not even sure if she can do it at that moment. The quality is also very good!!! I left a very happy camper and will sure be back for any alterations needs. Sad they don't have dry cleaning but Al Phillips is right across the street. read more

Wow! Well you know how you go shopping to get clothes for Vegas, you find something the pants are good but they need hemming, the only thing is you find the pants at 9pm the night BEFORE your plane leaves the next morning.....what to do? Take em with you and hopefully YELP will pull thru..... The first line I saw on one of the reviews for AJ's was, "same day alterations, in 10 min =$10." SOLD! Called the nice lady and she says sure we can do it if you come before we close at 3pm. Told my husband, finish yo lunch and let's go! After all it was his pants lmao. A little hard to find cause of the inadequacy Google maps took us around this industrial business complex where all the white buildings were in this area. But we found em! So it's a business that I believe does orders for the hotels or big businesses here in Vegas. Regardless there were actually 3 people picking up their alterations and looked so happy. I wish I had gotten the name of the sweet lady who helped us. But she measured my husband's pants on him, then asked if we were going to wait and we said yes pls. She happily took his pants, hemmed and PRESSED the pants!!!! And yes in 10 min, for $10!!!! In Vegas!!! Awesome!!! I've never had that kind of experience or service in Los Angeles!!! Thank you AJ's and to the sweet lady who helped us in record time!!!! read more

So quick! Husband needed a pair of suit pants tailored and it was done in less than 15 minutes. Perfect hemline, super quick, great customer service, and affordable! I would recommend AJ's over and over again based on our first experience. read more

I am not from Las Vegas, I am here from San Diego for the week. The day I left for Vegas I had an outfit come in the mail and the top was too big and took it with me knowing that I needed it to get altered. I found AJ's since it was closest to my hotel at the MGM and they were the only place that opened really early at 8am. Brought in my top which needed to be taken in, and I told them I needed it the same same day. Came in around 8am dropped it off and picked it up around 1pm. It saw that there were 3 other seamstresses working there so I guess that was helpful and that's why I was able to get it back the same day. As I was leaving I noticed a flaw on my top, where the edge was sewed into the seam so the seamstress was kind enough to fix it real quick for me. I am very happy and they were great! read more

This place is a God send! I'm getting married in 2 days and my fiancé needed his tux pants tapered ASAP! They were able to do it (while we waited - only 15 min) right on the spot and the quality of the work is perfect. And it only cost $15!! You can't beat that! read more

Great people, great work on alterations and great prices. I wish they had longer business hours as that is sometimes problematic trying to get there before they close but I definitely recommend. read more

Horrible experience! I'm a disabled woman with a service animal. I was referred to this shop for alterations to my wedding dress. First the owner Amjed admonishes and yells at me upon arrival because my service dog urinated in the parking lot of the strip mall- on a bush on public property outside the store! He proceeded to make an exaggerated tantrum about pee on the concrete in 100 degree weather which would dry in minutes. The dog went to the bathroom outside, on property that wasn't owned or rented by this establishment. Next, I am ushered upon entering this insanely small shop to an incredibly small dressing room I can barely turn around in to try on a wedding dress! I'm a size 8 and trying on a larger than average dress obviously- a wedding dress! There were pins on the floor of the single dressing room and the small lobby area of the shop and this was dangerous to my service dog's feet as well as my seven year old daughter. The woman who came to "help" me was pleasant at first, but Amjed kept making a huge deal about urine outside throughout my fitting and embarrassingly had a lady with a bucket and soap start washing the sidewalk outside! And then he had her wiping down all the baseboards and door because he was complaining of dog hair- my dog is a registered trained documented lab service animal- not a pet! I was treated with discrimination and humiliated for being disabled as requiring my animal for medical assistance. Another note was that there was no platform for me to stand on so pins could be put on my dress to mark hemming properly, there was no offer of water or anything to exhibit hospitality from this business. The woman "helping" me then wouldn't even help me fasten or zip my dress on! That's her job! No assistance whatsoever to properly fit my dress and horrific, insulting, inadequate, unprofessional customer service. The woman who helped me stated someone could slip and fall on the parking lot concrete because of my dog pee! Honestly have you seen rain outside? It's 100 degrees out- what a ridiculous over exaggerated way to discriminate against the disabled. The whole time I was there Amjed was complaining and yelling in another language other than English so I would not understand at the women working for him, he seemed hostile and aggressive towards the female staff and this is also inappropriate and rude- to me a female client- he's possibly chauvinistic, sexist and harassing of women. I felt sorry for the women working there like it is a sweat shop. This man has photos of himself on the walls of the shop posing with ufc fighters, boxers and of playboy playmates- honestly so unprofessional and arrogant! Nobody cares about his poser autographs- the whole shop is run down looking and tiny and I recommend you take your business somewhere as a woman you will be treated with dignity and respect- this is NOT that place! If you are disabled please do not go here- there isn't any handicap accessibility for someone with a wheelchair, walker, or service animal! read more
