Forever going here for all of my alteration needs! In the spring of 2022, I had a work gala coming up and I needed a gown I purchased fixed in a couple ways and it all needed to be done very soon. It didn't fit perfectly, so it needed to be taken in. It also needed to be shorter so it didn't drag on the ground, there was a small hole in one of the seams and I was also asking for a slit to be put in. They did everything in one day. ONE DAY. I was not expecting that fast of service. I went and picked up the gown and was amazed. Everything was done perfectly. I couldn't even tell where the small hole once was! Speedy service. Requested rush. They did only hem one layer of my daughter's dress. She had to cut off a couple of inches on the inner layer because it was that much longer than the outer layer of the dress and wasn't hemmed at all. They did do a good job on the hemming of her outer layer. I asked for my dress to be hemmed a little shorter than usual, but the dress was lying on the floor. It was about 1/2" too long. Very short notice, excellent service. Clean surrounding area, decent parking, not too hard to find. 2 fitting rooms and a small seating area available inside. I needed alterations for groomsmen done within a couple of days and just walked in hoping for the best. Walked in with suits we got from another place. AJ himself was there when we arrived, and served us without an appointment, with a smile on his face. We agreed to pick up the suits next day first thing in the morning, and they fit perfectly upon pick up. In the future, I will definitely consider buying a suit from AJ directly. I've found an awesome tailor shop that does great, fast alterations. I bought two pair of jeans from Blaze N Bling. The 36" inseam was about 4" too long. One pair was solid black and required standard hemming. My Fancy Bling Butt Jeans needed special hemming to keep the original stitching and slightly frayed bottom edge. Regular hem costs $10, the fancy hem costs $15. The best thing is they will do simple alterations while you wait. The mantra is $10 in 10 minutes. I said I could wait a day which seemed to be appreciated. They did a fantastic job. read more

They sure do live up to to it! 10 minutes = 10 dollars! I live about 15 minutes from them but I called prior to coming in to make sure they can actually do my hemming right there and then. I called another shop that does same day alteration and is relatively close to me. But it all came down to the person I spoke with on the phone. The guy at AJ's sounded sure and sincere, while the other one sounded like she's not even sure if she can do it at that moment. The quality is also very good!!! Well you know how you go shopping to get clothes for Vegas, you find something the pants are good but they need hemming, the only thing is you find the pants at 9pm the night BEFORE your plane leaves the next morning.....what to do? Take em with you and hopefully YELP will pull thru..... The first line I saw on one of the reviews for AJ's was, "same day alterations, in 10 min =$10." SOLD! Called the nice lady and she says sure we can do it if you come before we close at 3pm. Told my husband, finish yo lunch and let's go! After all it was his pants lmao. A little hard to find cause of the inadequacy Google maps took us around this industrial business complex where all the white buildings were in this area. But we found em! So it's a business that I believe does orders for the hotels or big businesses here in Vegas. Regardless there were actually 3 people picking up their alterations and looked so happy. I wish I had gotten the name of the sweet lady who helped us. But she measured my husband's pants on him, then asked if we were going to wait and we said yes pls. She happily took his pants, hemmed and PRESSED the pants!!!! And yes in 10 min, for $10!!!! In Vegas!!! Awesome!!! I've never had that kind of experience or service in Los Angeles!!! Horrible experience! I'm a disabled woman with a service animal. I was referred to this shop for alterations to my wedding dress. First the owner Amjed admonishes and yells at me upon arrival because my service dog urinated in the parking lot of the strip mall- on a bush on public property outside the store! He proceeded to make an exaggerated tantrum about pee on the concrete in 100 degree weather which would dry in minutes. The dog went to the bathroom outside, on property that wasn't owned or rented by this establishment. Next, I am ushered upon entering this insanely small shop to an incredibly small dressing room I can barely turn around in to try on a wedding dress! I'm a size 8 and trying on a larger than average dress obviously- a wedding dress! There were pins on the floor of the single dressing room and the small lobby area of the shop and this was dangerous to my service dog's feet as well as my seven year old daughter. The woman who came to "help" me was pleasant at first, but Amjed kept making a huge deal about urine outside throughout my fitting and embarrassingly had a lady with a bucket and soap start washing the sidewalk outside! And then he had her wiping down all the baseboards and door because he was complaining of dog hair- my dog is a registered trained documented lab service animal- not a pet! I was treated with discrimination and humiliated for being disabled as requiring my animal for medical assistance. Another note was that there was no platform for me to stand on so pins could be put on my dress to mark hemming properly, there was no offer of water or anything to exhibit hospitality from this business. The woman "helping" me then wouldn't even help me fasten or zip my dress on! That's her job! No assistance whatsoever to properly fit my dress and horrific, insulting, inadequate, unprofessional customer service. The woman who helped me stated someone could slip and fall on the parking lot concrete because of my dog pee! Honestly have you seen rain outside? It's 100 degrees out- what a ridiculous over exaggerated way to discriminate against the disabled. The whole time I was there Amjed was complaining and yelling in another language other than English so I would not understand at the women working for him, he seemed hostile and aggressive towards the female staff and this is also inappropriate and rude- to me a female client- he's possibly chauvinistic, sexist and harassing of women. I felt sorry for the women working there like it is a sweat shop. This man has photos of himself on the walls of the shop posing with ufc fighters, boxers and of playboy playmates- honestly so unprofessional and arrogant! Nobody cares about his poser autographs- the whole shop is run down looking and tiny and I recommend you take your business somewhere as a woman you will be treated with dignity and respect- this is NOT that place! If you are disabled please do not go here- there isn't any handicap accessibility for someone with a wheelchair, walker, or service animal! read more

I am not from Las Vegas, I am here from San Diego for the week. The day I left for Vegas I had an outfit come in the mail and the top was too big and took it with me knowing that I needed it to get altered. I found AJ's since it was closest to my hotel at the MGM and they were the only place that opened really early at 8am. Brought in my top which needed to be taken in, and I told them I needed it the same same day. Came in around 8am dropped it off and picked it up around 1pm. It saw that there were 3 other seamstresses working there so I guess that was helpful and that's why I was able to get it back the same day. As I was leaving I noticed a flaw on my top, where the edge was sewed into the seam so the seamstress was kind enough to fix it real quick for me. I am very happy and they were great! read more

I had to get a bridesmaid dress altered. I only needed the bottom of the dress to be hemmed. Unfortunately, because the people at Dave s Bridals are a bunch of morons, I only had 2 days to get it done before the wedding. I called around and most places quoted me $50 or more.
