I had a total of three fittings - the initial to go over what I wanted, take measurements, etc; the second to try on with the alterations temporarily in place to verify measurements; and the third final one with everything complete! I loved working with them and they made the process so smooth. I wanted to add custom off-the-shoulder sleeves using some of the sparkly tulle cut from the length, and they came out perfect. The bustle was also perfect and they ensured that I knew how to bustle it for the day of, and ensured I took a video so I could show my planner. My husband and his groomsmen got custom suits from Gaetano, but they also use A-Z Alterations! They knew we were both going there so they made sure our fittings weren't on the same day and that I didn't cross paths with my husband or the groomsmen. I know the groomsmen had great experiences as well. A few of them had issues with their pants' length at the second fitting but it was promptly fixed and they looked perfect on the day of. My in-laws and my brother also had their wedding attire altered here and everyone looked amazing! I've been to other alteration places where the customer service definitely lacked, but Stela was great to work with and stayed in constant communication. I've been back since our wedding to get other items altered. I think the prices are definitely fair for the quality and the reliability of their work, and they quote you prior to getting any work done so you know what to expect.

The repairs were done well. I think it was a pit pricey, but I'd rather pay more and have it done right.

And the prices are competitive and the service is competent. My boyfriend is so pleased with how correctly his shirt plackets are consistently ironed. Honestly the only thing wrong is that the app keeps telling you to swipe a card in to enter the location when you don't have to and you have to do some random workaround to be able to do anything else on the app, but certainly that will be fixed any time now. Even though the main seamstress wasn't there the morning I came in, they still took the time to help me out and get my measurements taken. The length was absolutely perfect with my heels, and it fit just right for the occasion. They did a great job, and I couldn't have been happier with the results. The price was $75 to hem my chiffon dress with an inner lining, which I felt was reasonable for the quality of work, especially since I needed it done just a week before the wedding. They did such a great job getting the length just right with my heels, and the peace of mind knowing my dress was ready for the big day was well worth it! Not everyone posts there experiences with this man, so I can't imagine how many other females he has done this too !!! I only came here to get my pants done. And that's it!
