Even though Jason was not able to be present at the job site, his crew did a fantastic job. A couple of exposed areas had to be painted an extra coat (no extra charge) because the stucco had never been painted before. It's rare these days to see service contractors who value quality over quantity. I do recommend Straight Edge Painting for their quality work and reasonable pricing. I scheduled an estimate and modified my work schedule to accommodate the time. Jason (owner) contacted me and explained he would not be able to make it as he was helping his crew finish a job. I ensured I was home and available 1 hour prior and after the scheduled time. Needless to say, he was a no call/no show. After 2 scheduled attempts I am dissapointed to say the least.

During quoting he highlighted the services they offered, including moving large furniture, floating and patching damage, and protecting floors and fixtures. Once the day came, we had just completed some DIY drywalling and needed a little help finishing the last float and texture before painting. Justin went above and beyond and added this last minute at a fair price. During the job, there were a few issues due to clutter we left in our rush to finish the DIY work. Justin worked to communicate the issue and resolve it, working around our tricky schedule. After a few days had passed, multiple members of Justin's staff needed unexpected time off, and Justin showed up himself to help get the job done. Justin and his team got the job done, paying special attention to make sure we were satisfied, even going above and beyond again to repair a spot where some tricky furniture of ours unexpectedly left some scratches in the floor. After all this, the price was right at the estimate, plus the small charge for our extra floating and texturing ask. Overall I am super satisfied and would happily recommend this business to anyone looking for competitive, efficient, professional painters.

Excellent Experience with Diamond Star Painting!…read more We recently hired Diamond Star Painting to repaint the exterior of a home in Lincoln, and the entire experience was outstanding. They were quick to respond, reasonably priced, and, most importantly, accommodated our tight schedule to get the project completed on time. From the moment we committed, the process was seamless. At no point did I feel pressured, obligated, or misled. Everything was handled professionally and with genuine care. A special thank-you to Tabitha Sodders, our project manager, for her excellent communication and coordination throughout the project. Even when the crew had to start as early as 6 a.m. and finish earlier in the day because of the heat, everything was well organized and communicated promptly. I was particularly impressed by the attention to detail. The crew spent considerable time masking and preparing the home properly, and they showed the same care with the final touch-ups. Nothing felt rushed or overlooked. The result was excellent, and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. We can confidently recommend Diamond Star Painting to friends and anyone looking for a reliable, professional painting company. Thank you to Tabitha and the entire team for a job well done! -- Fritz W., Lincoln
