I gave Madi 3/5 stars…read more I'll start with the things that are 5/5. Madi has a fantastic work ethic, showed up on time, and spent 5 hours cleaning my house, which really only needed sprucing up. She was incredibly thorough and my house looked outstanding when she was finished. I even referred her to a friend before all of the rest of this.... Onto the things that I gave her 1/5 stars. Madi arrived with her three-year-old son and apologized for bringing him because "daycare called out." I said, "No worries, no big deal, and these things happen." I opened my son's room to him and let him play with the toys. By about hour two, he became bored and then it was up to me to police him around my house. I found him chasing my cats around with a rolled-up placemat. I was the one who scolded him and said that is not how we treat animals, only to have him kick a door multiple times that the cats were hiding behind a few minutes later. Madi called him to her a few times to check in with him, but she was unaware of the behaviors. Two weeks later we set a time for the next clean. Madi checked in the day before to confirm the appointment between 12pm and 1pm. At 1:25 the next day, she notified me that she was "going to let me know when" she was on her way. At 2:17 she asked if it was okay if her husband came and picked up her son from my house and at 2:35 she said that her son had fallen asleep and she "didn't want him grumpy while I clean." Which to me meant she had every intention of bringing him back to my house. I declined the clean that day and told her everything that had happened with her son the previous clean, to which, she was very apologetic. We rescheduled for the following week at 12. Well, the following week is today. I have heard nothing from Madi and I even texted to confirm at 11:25 with nothing back...hence the review... So overall, the risk is yours. She might show up, she might not. She might bring her son who is not good with pets, and she might not. She does a great job and the compensation is well worth her efforts; I just wished she had been more consistent as we were planning for long-term employment.

Not knowing the proper terminology, I classified the job as a move in/move out deep cleaning. When she arrived however, she realized that it was much worse than a traditional move out. My handyman had left construction dust, debris, and garbage everywhere while having spilling paint on the carpets and tile. She worked aggressively for 5 hours to get the house looking sharp, even making the heavily soiled carpets much cleaner (even without shampooing!). I can speak to her character because any other cleaning service would have called back and asked for a higher rate since I underestimated the work. Madi didn't. She completed the job at the promised rate despite the fact that I gave her much more than she was anticipating. I will definitely be come back again and again!

I think this may be a scam. We called Miller Home Care more than a week in advance to schedule a…read moremove out clean for an empty, small home in Davis. When the day came, it was nearly impossible to figure out over the phone when the cleaners could arrive, and they showed up nearly two hours late after giving a time window. The cleaners were friendly and did a fairly average job. I say this because there were several key areas we mentioned that hadn't been cleaned, like windowsills, tile grout, and marks on the doors. Despite all this, we were happy and willing to pay the "around $300" we were quoted over the phone, even though this seems to be nearly $100 more than most other companies in the area. The cleaner then proceeded to ask for $675 cash only. This was RIDICULOUS not only for a house of this size but for only 2-3 hours of work and an average job at best. We informed them that we would have to arrange payment with the office, she countered with $500 as the "best she could do",and the cleaners left. There were several attempts by the cleaners themselves, not the management, to arrange a time to pick up large amounts of cash from us in person in the following days, but we haven't heard from the management and they seem to have moved on. REALLY SKETCHY. Save yourself the headache. Pics are of items we specifically asked for clean as they were on list from property manager.

I requested a deep cleaning no regular cleaning. I requested all house walls, kitchen cabinets out…read moreand inside cabinets. bathroom tubs, sinks, fans, dusted seals. things like that. when she arrived, I was trying to do a walk-through with her to show her everything that I wanted the specifics and she seemed rushed to start. I had to keep going around the house to keep reminding her about the when she left, I noticed that all of my kitchen drawers still had pieces of trash and crumbs. The fans were not dusted my bathroom shower door wasn't cleaned or the sink. top cabinets weren't wiped at all only vacuumed. stove wasn't wiped but not scrubbed, cabinet handles weren't still sticky, I asked to remove grime from the bottom corners under the cabinets to which her only effort was to wipe and said she couldn't do it she could spray it for me and I had to go down there to scrub it myself. The only thing that came out good was the walls. The job felt very rushed. She didn't ask in the end if there was anything else or if we were satisfied, she said the job would take four hours and she left in three hours and 30 minutes and didn't ask if there was anything else we'd like done. I noticed that her business page on Facebook was gone after I asked for a resolution. Her only resolution was half off on the next job without resolution to the job she didn't finish here. So when I initially asked for services I posted on the how can I help Sacramento specifically asking for a deep clean. You posted your business on my comment. I believe that's how I got in contact with you or someone else did however, I still called you and voice messaged you exactly what I was looking for days before you came. I wanted a deep cleaning not a regular cleaning. And you agreed. Needles to say that since you didn't have any other tasks of regular cleaning then you could have really managed to finish what you had agreed with. If you weren't a usual deep cleaner than you shouldn't have taken the job. To my impression I thought you were because you agreed. Also. Offering half off on the next job is very unprofessional. You're basically asking me to pay you again to come finish a job you didn't finish in the first place. I had to go back and finish the tasks. I'm not even being dramatic. I basically paid you 250$ to clean my walls. Because everything else was done half way and rushed. Also, don't forget to mention how when I tried to follow up with you, you just stopped texting me and how somehow I can't see your business page anymore. So that's why I'm here on your yelp. If it was a regular cleaning I needed and just some help around than it would have been okay but I wasn't looking for that I was looking for detailed deep cleaning in the areas that I asked. Also. You weren't even trying hard enough to clean up the grime. You wiped over it and said oh I can't take it off I can spray it for you though so you can clean it off? To which I had to get down there and scrub with a metal sponge myself. I asked for this service because I'm so far along pregnant and didn't want to hurt myself doing it. I mean seriously. Paying someone while you're having to do it with them while they're here? Terrible service. You could have came back and finished. Or gave me a partial refund. I don't care to pay what I need to pay but for the money I pay I expect the job to be done. You seemed to just want to do it quickly to leave. You said you'd take 4 hours in it and you were only here 3 and a half, didn't even say hey would you like to make sure I've got everything, do you need anything else with the extra time I have?, I even offered you a stool to wipe the high cabinets and you still only vacuumed them, and whatever else you needed because it seemed you didn't even have the proper cleaning equipment. Mostly spraying and wiping is what I saw you used. I hope that 250$ blessed your family. Don't act like you don't know what you did ignoring me after and not wanting to come back to satisfy your customers or give them any type of resolution. Why would I want you to come back and pay you to come back when you didn't want to resolve or finish your first job with me. Also it really pissed me off how you tried to say that there was a "misunderstanding" about the tasks I wanted you to do. No maam there was not. It's all in the messages I told you exactly what I needed even did a walk through with you when you came which you just seemed rushed to start. Stop playing dumb. You took my money did a half job and disappeared.
