If you don't purchase the item, you lose your 20$. I was told that they can remove items from the mannequin ONLY if I guarantee that I was going to purchase the item or by putting a 20$ deposit! I have never in my life been told to put a deposit down to try on clothes since the purpose of owning a store is to sell your inventory, yet I was not allowed to buy or try on items from the mannequins. This was ridiculous! After explaining that I want to purchase the item on the mannequin since I knew the size would fit me, that is when they took it out the mannequin. This whole process was really awkward since it shouldn't have occurred in the first place because as a customer I can purchase anything in the store. If they aren't going to allow customers to buy certain items then the owner/ front staff should NOT display it in store. Horrible shopping experience. Just go to the Turlock location instead of Modesto. If you're the owner reading this, please stop with that nonsense deposit. That's ridiculous.

She was to busy getting yelled at by some of her tax clients? in the back room who were pissed off about being audited! I guess the owner runs a bridal/tax store ? Who knows! All I know is that I was just by sitting there not being helped, and listening to the owner being called a liar and incompetent because how badly she messed up how she filed taxes for them. They were even more pissed off when the owner asked for even more money to fix the audit! Why is this tax BS happening at a bridal shop anyway? Sketchy AF! Wait IT GETS WORSE! She gave me the credit card line (1-800-888-4163), when I needed Lane Bryant's customer service (1-866-681-1746). That sent me on a whole different rabbit hole experience! Online it listed: (1-866-886-4731). The supervisor claimed she couldn't hear me. I had to call about six different times to several different phone numbers before arriving at the correct place, which ended up being a total waste of time! The representatives on the phone were not helpful either. It is a shame that the negative experience really outweighed the positive.
