If you don't purchase the item, you lose your 20$. I was told that they can remove items from the mannequin ONLY if I guarantee that I was going to purchase the item or by putting a 20$ deposit! I have never in my life been told to put a deposit down to try on clothes since the purpose of owning a store is to sell your inventory, yet I was not allowed to buy or try on items from the mannequins. This was ridiculous! After explaining that I want to purchase the item on the mannequin since I knew the size would fit me, that is when they took it out the mannequin. This whole process was really awkward since it shouldn't have occurred in the first place because as a customer I can purchase anything in the store. If they aren't going to allow customers to buy certain items then the owner/ front staff should NOT display it in store. Horrible shopping experience. Just go to the Turlock location instead of Modesto. If you're the owner reading this, please stop with that nonsense deposit. That's ridiculous.

Our gowns were being custom made so she gave everyone in our party her personal cell phone number and provided us weekly updates on our order. She even gave our friend who was a BRIDEZILLA and who got her dress at a different store,weekly updates. Shannon went over and beyond for us. even after hours when the store was closed she always respond to our texts and answered our questions. So when my boyfriend proposed to I went back to Jetaime to look for my wedding gown. Unfortunately Shannon was not there that day. So after waiting over an hour for the owner Lupe? to come out and help me which never actually happened! She was to busy getting yelled at by some of her tax clients? in the back room who were pissed off about being audited! I guess the owner runs a bridal/tax store ? Who knows! All I know is that I was just by sitting there not being helped, and listening to the owner being called a liar and incompetent because how badly she messed up how she filed taxes for them. They were even more pissed off when the owner asked for even more money to fix the audit! Why is this tax BS happening at a bridal shop anyway? Sketchy AF! Wait IT GETS WORSE! Even though I desperately wanted to get out of there I could not leave, I felt obligated as a mother to stay there to make sure the 2 little girls which I'm assuming who belonged to the owner, who were not being supervised by anyone, were running around the store screaming and playing hiding o seek between the wedding gowns and pulling off the dresses that were hanging on the display racks and leaving them on the floor while they trampled on top of them! However, these representatives are 5 stars all the way! Today, I had a good experience with Edith again! The experience was good, until I reached the representative at the register. A totally different person, who was rude and not helpful! I explained to her that I had two rewards yesterday, and I only used one of them, so I should still have one left. She sort of snapped at me and told me that it might have expired. Additionally, she gave me the wrong # to contact when I asked for customer service. She gave me the credit card line (1-800-888-4163), when I needed Lane Bryant's customer service (1-866-681-1746). That sent me on a whole different rabbit hole experience! Online it listed: (1-866-886-4731). The supervisor claimed she couldn't hear me. I had to call about six different times to several different phone numbers before arriving at the correct place, which ended up being a total waste of time! The representatives on the phone were not helpful either. It is a shame that the negative experience really outweighed the positive.

She instantly greeted me and asked if she could assist me in finding anything. She went straight to work in finding these two bras and they worked perfectly. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes (after looking around at other clothes). The store is clean & super organized.
