She gave me a very reasonable quote without seeing my apartment, and scheduled my cleaning for 2 days later. I didn't get to meet her as I was out of town for the weekend. A friend of mine let her and her crew in, he left, and they cleaned my whole apartment from top to bottom. It looks like it did the day I moved in. I contacted Amy with the request of preparing my home for my child who was coming from the hospital. My home is generally cleaning, but we need to be sure due to my child's condition. Amy said "maybe Tuesday next week, but I will call you to let you know". I sent her my address and haven't heard from her until her crew showed up unannounced to my door. We let them clean even though we were not expecting them. It seems the ladies were rushing to another job and did a horrible cleaning service for the $275 she charged us for the first time cleaning. I contacted Amy after my wife told me that the ladies rushed and did not do a good job. Amy became defensive and blame my wife for not following the ladies to every room and requested pictures and said the ladies will come back. I sent the pictures and Amy said the girls are too far now, so they will come back tomorrow. I haven't heard from Amy again. I wanted to give her an opportunity before I give her negative ratings, but Amy did not respond to my call nor text. I don't recommend this business because the owner doesn't understand the meaning of customer service. read more

Wish I could give them 10 stars!!! Their team just left after our first cleaning with them. My daughter-in-law has used them for years and has often praised them Now I know why! Very professional. Very personable. Very efficient. Very satisfactory. First a very professional walk through of my house with the owner to talk over what I wanted and what they would do. She had ideas that really helped. She left with me having a clear understanding of everything I could expect and how much it would cost. When the morning came they arrived right on time. I happen to work from home so left for a bit and worked at a coffee shop. I returned a litle before they thought they were going to be through. The team was almost through and they had over achieved! My apartment recently went through a roofing renovation and the dust and debris left behind was disastrous. I contacted Amy at Excellent Maid Services based solely on the great reviews found here on Yelp and if I could give them 10 stars I would!! Amy called me within minutes of me sending an email to set up an appointment and confirmed via text. Her team was at my apartment the next day cleaned every inch of my place including the patio! The place was immaculate!! They cleaned everything from floor to ceiling, actually moved the furniture to vacuum, clean and dust and put it all back where it was. They swept and cleaned the entire patio which I was not expecting. Amy followed up with me later that night to see if I was pleased with the service and I couldn't say enough. She is very professional and courteous and has a great team of home cleaners. I highly recommend Excellent Maid Services. Their name says it all! read more

This cleaning company is amazing. They come up with solutions that I wasn't aware of to give you the maximum cleanliness you want. I'm so happy with their service, they suggested to clean my tiles and the grout all over my house and they did an excellent job. I am really disappointed with this service. I have been using them for years, but once I complained that some things were missed. After that, the maids who came to do the next cleaning took pictures of the inside of my house (without permission!!!!) and emailed them to Amy (the manager, owner, or whatever title she has) and told them my house was too big and I should pay more. More money was asked for a few times over the course of the few years, and each time, I have paid it, while also tipping the maids very well. However, they are never on time, have even forgotten appointments, refused to take off their shoes before, banged up my walls, don't lift things off the counters to clean under them, and often have a very unpleasant attitude. Honestly, take your money elsewhere--even if it is a little more, it is worth your money to get a much better service. read more

I contacted Excellent Maid service and Amy came to my home for the initial walk through. I liked Amy and she assured me that her team would do a great job for me. I hired them and the first time they came out the did a pretty good job, I thought. But when they cleaned my brand new gas stove, they turned up all the gas burners all the way (causing the kitchen to be a 100 degrees) and turned on my brand new $3000 dollar stove hood and let the gas run for about 10 minutes until I came in and asked what the hell they were doing. At that point my brand new BEST stove hood started making noise. So great they screwed up my new Hood the first time they cleaned. But, after telling them not to do that again, they did not but still my new hood now makes a loud rattling noise. Also, I ask them to use my vacuum, as I believe that it is the law that they do not use their vacuum from house to house so as not to spread bed bugs and other bacteria. But they refused and got all pissy because they did not know how to use my vacuum. (Real rocket science). I also asked them to use a special cleaner and micro fiber sweeper to clean my new hard wood floor as that is what the manufacture stated as the proper way to clean my new hard wood floors. Well, they used that the first couple of times then began to use an old style mop with those handy wipe things on it, slopping water all over the floor. Which they did not scrub enough to get grim up leaving dried food particles on the floor. In addition, the first time they came they stayed for a hour plus and then after the first couple of times coming they would come and be here for maybe 25 to 30 minutes to clean my $2500 square foot home, and I only had them clean 3 bathrooms, vacuum only the up stairs hall and stairs, clean only the kitchen and family room. They did not even have to clean any of the 4 bedrooms or vacuum or dust them or clean my formal living and dining room. So they were literally cleaning half my house and they charged me $135 for the first clean and then charged $110 for all other times. After the last time they came to clean I began to check there work and would run my hand over my kitchen counter top only to find food particles still suck to the counter, because they only do a lite wipe of the counters instead of soaping up the counters and scrubbing the counter. I could go on but why. In closing, I had called Amy after their last visit and told her not to send the girls until her and I were able to discuss the sloppy mop incident. But, I only got a text message from her confirming that the were coming, but my phone was dead and I had not responded she sent the girls anyway. So today they came and I let them in against my better judgment. They got to my home at 10:50 and left by 11:20. When they started in my kitchen one of the girls started to turn all the burner on and the one girl told her not to and then they said something in Spanish and they both laughed. Well, I do not speak Spanish but understand enough to know what was being said and that pissed my off. And I told them as such. After they left I checked their work only to find that the counters were not clean properly and they had chipped my granite counter at the sink and left toothpaste in one of the bathroom sinks and the wood floor in the kitchen cleaned poorly. I was done. I text messaged Amy and told her thank you for your service and that I would be cleaning my own home. She asked if the she could send the girls back but I could not. I am behind on writing a review, 2 years behind. I used Aimee's crew (ladies) about 2 years ago to clean my mothers house after she passed away so I could sell it. It was a very difficult time for me but Aimee's ladies made it easier. There was a group of them that came in that cleaned the house from top to bottom. I had requested they clean the windows inside and out but since it had been raining (actually more like a downpour) I told them not to clean the outside. When the rain had paused I looked and there was a gal outside cleaning the windows! She was getting muddy and fighting plants but she would not stop until she was done. When she was done the windows looked wonderful! The whole house sparkled and I was very pleased. Now fast forward to today. I had water damage in my kitchen and had to have part of it ripped out and all the wood flooring in the house. The house was filled with dust and dirt and needed a good cleaning. I remembered Aimee and her ladies so I gave her a call. She was able to fit me in to her very busy schedule and I again was very impressed and pleased with the work. Within 2 hours the 4 ladies had my house clean and looking good again. The price was very reasonable for the amount and scrubbing they had to do. Did I mention how good the house looks or smells? I will use them again and recommend them to others without hesitation. read more

I used this service for several years with mixed results. They surface clean well, but have broken things a number of times which Amy did offer to replace, but the replacement never happened. At their last visit, some brand new, expensive MAC make-up went missing. The packing had been placed in the top of the trash, so it was obvious that it was brand new. I tore the place apart looking for it and called Amy, who said, "The girls move things to the floor to clean: it is there". I tore the place up again and it gone. It was stolen. Unless you have a nanny cam in every room don't use this service. read more

Sorry to say that after speaking with Amy a couple of times, and the texting her my info (date and time of cleaning) as she requested, she never responded. I am a senior who is moving from one apartment complex to another, too old to do the bending and stooping as I used to. As my moving date approached, I texted her to confirm the date and time. No response, Then texted her to ask her to confirm I was booked on her calendar as we had discussed, and if not to let me know so I could book someone else. No response. This morning, I texted a short "your services are no longer required." Very disappointed as I've had good luck with picking companies based on Yelp reviews. Her team consists of multiple women and I've worked with a few of them and they're very thorough with their work. She sends 3-4 girls to clean. I would recommend this company to all my friends. Like any other cleaning company, who are awesome in the beginning when they need customer, but that enthusiasm fades out once you hire them, Amy and her team turned out to be the same. They had been cleaning our house for a year now. The first time they cleaned, one of the girls broke the shower tiles and claimed that the tiles fell from the wall when she splashed water, Really??? I immediately contacted Amy and she said that her brother is a handyman and would fix it for free. Sure, we accepted that and her brother comes and says it can't be fixed and had to redo the entire shower with new tiles, blah blah which we dint agree with and put that project on hold. Next few times they came in scratched by stainless steel stove even after repeatedly pointing that to them. When they started cleaning they had agreed to do dishes during kitchen cleaning. Now all of sudden, Amy calls up and says the girls cant do dishes, they cannot clean near stairs because her girl has back problem. The "my girls can't do this" list kept going on and on, for the same price we were paying. We are busy parents with a small baby, so we still compromised and let her do our house, until recently when Amy's bad custom service and unprofessional attitude couldn't be tolerated any more. She was not ready to accommodate rescheduling of house cleaning and dint not even bother to respond back to our text. The girls stopped coming to clean the house without any notice.
