We've used Excellent Carpet Cleaning several times now -- twice to clean an area rug and once to clean the runner on our stairs. In all three cases, the ECC team has been prompt, professional, courteous, and, most important, amazingly effective in getting our rugs and carpets clean. We've been extraordinarily happy with ECC's work and will happily use them again in the future. Highly recommended! read more

I found this company online based on the reviews and although they weren't inexpensive, I wanted and needed a clean carpet. I needed them after my own landlord couldn't clean my carpet. The landlord cleaned it 2 or 3 times to no avail and they refused to clean it any further, and they refused to pay for professional cleaners, despite my feet getting so dirty from just walking around (yes, gross). I was hoping that a real company like ECC would be able to do the job and luckily they did. I am very thankful for clean carpets now. read more

Just used them for a sofa cleaning and they did an acceptable job. Not near as good as the first company we used a few years ago, which put down paper to make sure the hard wood floors were not harmed by the water and made the sofa look like new. But they didn't try and upsell us like the company we used two years ago, which also left the sofa stinking for weeks! However, Excellent was very pricey and they were a no-show for the first appointment two weeks ago. read more

These guys are great! I used them to clean a rug my dogs had their way with and they did such a great job that I immediately called them when I bought another rug on craigslist for a different room. They were flexible with my schedule and picked up the carpet when it fit me best. They were courteous and I feel like their prices are fair. When my dogs have their way with the rug again, they'll be the first people I call. read more

Awesome service! Polite representation and did the job quickly! Would definitely recommend them to anyone.

My carpets look great. Received green cleaning, no smell, dried very quickly. Very professional and courteous staff. Would use again and highly recommend. Nice company. read more

Make sure you know their minimum charges before they come out. I ended up only wanting one room done, and they had a huge minimum, but by then I was in a bind as I had to clean the place before I rented it out. They hadn't told me over the phone prior to coming out. read more

I had a great experience with Excellent Carpet Cleaning last Friday. They cleaned a total of five white rugs, two of which were quite soiled. The cleaning job was nothing short of amazing, and Rashaud was absolutely professional. I don't have much frame of reference for the price, but was more than happy to pay what they charged because they were so professional and did such a great job. I will definitely call them next time. read more

We recently sold our house of 20+ years. When the furniture was moved out I saw that our dog had left quite the mess over a period of years under the bed in the master. I was sure this would be a problem for the new owners and prepared myself for helping with the cost of a new carpet. A friend told me they'd had good results cleaning their carpet with Excellent Carpet Cleaning so I gave them a call and explained my situation. They said they'd had similar issues in the past where their treatment had worked. I gave them the okay and couldn't believe they were able to get the carpet looking great!! Never heard a word from the new owners. Perfect!!! read more

The scheduling staff was very friendly and so was the technician who cleaned the carpet. I had 4 rooms and a staircase cleaned for about $475 but that price didn't include deodorizing. Problem is there is now a stale order coming from one area of the carpet. Too bad the deodorizing service was extra because it seems like I need it now. :( read more

ECC just did our upholstered chairs and carpets and did a fantastic job! I can tell you that I would have never thought that anyone could have gotten those stains off of our creme colored dining room chairs and I was willing to live with just getting some of them off. As far as I can tell, all of the stains are gone and the chairs look brand new. They put protectant on them and then the guys started on the carpets. They got all of the stains out and made our carpets look brand new. They were professional, hard working, and very knowledgeable about how to clean and maintain the chairs and carpets. They came right on time and left within two hours. As far as I am concerned, I am their client for life and would recommend them strongly. Thanks guys and thanks ECC!!! read more

I could not be happier with the service provided by Excellent Carpet Cleaning. Communication was outstanding, the technician was timely and efficient, and the work itself was excellent. I will certainly refer them to others. read more

We had a white love-seat to clean. Scheduling was very easy and efficient (even over e-mail). The very friendly technician arrived on time at the beginning of the window given to us. He was very good at communicating what we could expect from the cleaning (some of the stains would not come out completely, as I knew from a prior cleaning), but we were extremely happy with the better than expected results. read more

We adopted a dog two years ago. The dog has had a couple of accidents since then. The staff at Excellent Carpet Cleaning have done a great job cleaning the dog spots on the carpet in our family room. They have also cleaned our family room sofa, which is about 8 years old. The rug and sofa look great and the room smells clean. The staff are prompt, professional and friendly. The office staff who schedule the appointments are very helpful. We will use their services again. read more

Picked up the rug and delivered in a timely manner. Gave a fair estimate over the phone and held true to what they promised. Didn't ask for payment information until delivery arrangements were made and the rug came back nice and clean. read more

I spilled bright pink nail polish all over my cream carpet by accident today. The carpet seemed to be ruined. Excellent carpet cleaning came right out and completely got rid of stain and all carpet looks new. I have used them twice. They are reliable and very professional. They cleaned my daughter's carpet as well and it looks great!! It was my wife that actually spilled nail polish but yelp account in my name. read more

I phoned in a last ditch effort to get carpet cleaned before making the decision to replace it. The carpet is a crystal gray, almost white, and the tenants did not vacuum or clean the carpet for one year. The high traffic area was almost black. Excellent Carpet responded to my call immediately and were able to come out the same day. They were professional and promised that they would be complete within one hour. They finished within the promised time and the carpet looks almost brand new. I am more than satisfied and would recommend them to anyone that asked with high praises. read more

Excellent Carpet Cleaning did an outstanding job on cleaning the upholstery in my car. The service was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. In addition, the technician who removed the offensive odor from my interior gave me a great deal! I recommend Excellent Carpet Cleaning to anyone who is in the market to have their car detailed. read more

A fantastic job. A sloppy painter left paint all over the carpet. The technician was wonderful to work with and the work so excellent that the carpet looks new. read more

Whole-heartedly recommend this company! As the owner of three dogs, I have my carpets cleaned regularly. I have never been completely satisfied with any company until now. Excellent Carpet Cleaning was professional, courteous, prompt, did an excellent job and the price was right. We couldn't have been more pleased with the results. Will be using them regularly moving forward. read more

Oh man! So I was dog-sitting for my parents one weekend while they were out of town. One day fine day will driving around, the dog well, uh, he has a bit of an "accident" on the backseat of their car. After panicking for a good several minutes at thought of how they'd react--I start searching for someone who can help clean up the stains in the car who was open on the weekend. What good fortune I had to come across Excellent Carpet Cleaning close by in Silver Spring. They really saved the day! Not only were they willing to work with my timing, but they did a great job doing a full clean of the car's interior. True to their name, they provided excellent friendly service (at a reasonable price too!) My parents didn't even notice the difference when they came back home. Thanks, Excellent Carpet Cleaning! read more

This service was amazing!! Junior, our cleaner, did an amazing job removing pet stains and odors from our carpets. He was very professional and polite. Would definitely recommend this service! read more

I have never used a carpet cleaning service before; however my living room carpet was clearly in need of professional cleaning after 40 years. It is a very good carpet and has held up very well but the traffic areas were soiled and my home cleaning solutions just could not handle it. Daniel came to do my carpet - he actually was able to come earlier than scheduled which worked out great for me. My old carpet may not look "brand new" but it now has a new life and looks great. I assumed the exposed area would not exactly match the areas that had been protected by furniture; but I was delighted to see the whole carpet is now all one color! If you are not use to having your carpet cleaned, I would encourage you to do it. It is much easier and more cost effective to clean the carpet than to replace it. Mine may not last another 40 years but it is good for many more years now. Thanks. read more

Had carpet cleaning done today and they did an excellent job. First, I was told they would arrive between 9 and 10 a.m. They arrived promptly at 9, which is a big plus in their favor. I had asked for two large sets of stairways to be cleaned (many stairs, multiple landings). Arthur, the lead technician, explained everything they would do and all of my options. I also asked if they would add in cleaning an area rug if they had time, which they did. Arthur wrote up the estimate, got my approval and they got to work. They estimated the job taking 90 minutes and it took exactly that. The work was outstanding - made a huge difference in the appearance of the carpet and the area rug. There were many stains and absolutely all of them were removed. I thought the pricing was very reasonable, especially given that the work was excellent. I'll be calling them again to clean my hardwood floors. Couldn't ask for better service. read more
