This company was amazing. Franchesca is a very nice and informative person and so was Martin the supervisor. This company is super organized especially how they have a gameplan checklist that asks you about every small detail you want for cleaning and the priority level. You do not get that from any other cleaning company. I have tried many different ones from private to corporate and this is top notch! My wife is very hard to please when it comes to the cleaning but she was blown away and satisfied. The cleaners did an amazing job and everyone was super patient and helpful. My first clean was wonderful but the recurring cleans turned into a nightmare. I made it very clear I wanted a deep cleaning every 2 weeks because I have severely disabled children and 2 cats. I really tried to stick it out with Excellence Cleaning Pros but I couldn't any longer due to the lack of quality. Some of the issues I encountered were dirty dishes and dirty cat bowls being put in the cabinets with my clean dishes, trash being put where I put my skincare and dental products, vacuum and mopping wasn't done under my kitchen table or in places that weren't in the easy path of the major areas, dishes being placed in the dishwasher cluttered or so disorganized that it would cause damage to the dishes or closed food containers not allowing them to get properly washed, the floors being mopped with a microfiber towel leaving streaks and only picked up surface dirt but not getting anything sticky. I brought my issues to Francesca's attention and she kept telling me that they are doing a regular clean not a premium clean and if I wanted premium.... even after I keep saying everytime I want my apartment deep cleaned because I have a busy life and disabled children that are on the floor especially my son since he cannot walk. Francesca also would say she's trying to keep me in a budget and keep her team within their cleaning window. I never said I had a budget only that I needed the apartment cleaned before my children came home from school. When we first started services my husband and I spent at least a couple thousand on cleaning and organizing in the first 2 months so the money wasn't the issue for us to add on time or services. Francesca and Martin do great with cleaning and organizing however the staff lacks proper training. I am having to clean after the cleaners leave and when I bring that to Francessa's attention she again acts confused and asks me yet again if I'm wanting a premium deep clean instead of standard and I always say yes. I kept saying I didn't want a basic wipe down because that doesn't meet our needs as a family. Then the invisible budget gets brought up again. When I say I want everything in the kitchen wiped down top to bottom she said that she tells her staff to only worry about the areas that are highly touched and do a quick wipe to make sure there's time to focus on the more problematic areas but we touch all areas of our apartment including the lower cabinets were my son is always at a lower level since he cannot walk. I really wanted to make things work because I need the help with my home upkeep and to take some of the load off my shoulders but it just didn't work out. Very disappointing. If you need a one time clean or very very very light recurring cleaning then sure they can do it but outside of that I would not recommend them to anyone needing thorough cleaning on a regular basis. read more

We had a lengthy conversation and I sent a list about the needs of my home...they charged us $400 for 3 hrs... and they didn't clean the kitchen counters, sweep and mop under the couch, wipe down fireplace mantle, move things to dust. Quick response when I contacted them to set up my initial cleaning (3 people, 2 hours). They sent a reminder text the day before and then again when they were 20 mins out. They arrived on time and we started off with a walk through and then they went about cleaning. They did an amazing job. Very thorough compared to previous companies we've hired this year. What an absolute disaster experience and What a poor customer service. I contacted them to inquire about cleaning services for my dental office. They came to look at the premises and offered a courtesy cleaning service for $35 to be able to give a more accurate estimate. They canceled the courtesy cleaning two hours before the scheduled time. They showed up an hour late for the second scheduled cleaning when the office was about to close although I had specifically asked for a set time window. At that point I realized the poor management of this company and that if they can't keep a simple cleaning schedule for a new client I can't imaging how bad it will go from there. The manager emailed me a very rude message being upset why we didn't want to use their services. When I informed her of my complaints and dissatisfaction she didn't attempt to resolve the matter and kept belittling me even more. I offered to pay their $35 cleaning trial fee but there was no address or name to send payment to. They showed up to my office weeks later, unannounced, asking for payment. When i asked for an invoice the manager emailed me a rude email once again with a $40 fee now. This place is rude unprofessional and condescending. Instead of jacking up prices like many would do, they quickly provided a new reasonable estimate and called for an extra person to help. *** UPDATE*** Upon reading this review, Excellence Cleaning Pros immediately contacted me and stated that, "You must give our company a three star or higher review to receive a refund on your deposit. We will not be refunding your money." I have email correspondence with this company that states that as part of this company's Groupon campaign I had to give them a $75 deposit before the cleaning (on top of paying the Groupon price of $60) and to be able to recoup my deposit I had to leave a review on Google...JUST Google. There was also nothing stated in the email that the review had to be "three stars or above" to receive my deposit back. Nonetheless, I accepted this, had the cleaning done and wrote an honest, factual review of how I felt about the work completed - on Google. I wrote the same review I wrote on Yelp. And I gave them three stars. I decided all on my own to expand my reviews to Groupon and Yelp as well, as is my right to do so. Because I gave a two star rating on Yelp, the company now refuses to refund my deposit. Mind you, the requirements given to me in writing state "a review on Google". Nothing more. As you can see, this is a clear bait and switch tactic being run by this company. Since they claim to make no money on their Groupon campaign sales, this is the way to collect more money. They are essentially buying good reviews from Groupon customers...customers that the company actually stated very negative things about while on the phone with me. Did you know that all Groupon customers obtaining cleaning services are dirty people, are only one time customers and that they make no sales on them? That's what was stated to me by the company during this phone call. I find that kind of behavior from a company very unprofessional. The company was speaking to me in a very negative, defensive and intimidating manner and was not open to listening to anything I tried to speak about. I will admit, by this time, the call got me to a point of frustration where I could have handled myself during the rest of the call in a more calm disposition. The phone call ended by the company hanging up on me and then sending me a text that stated completely different parameters on obtaining my refund and falsely accusing my home to be terrible condition. (If that's true, then why, after examining my apartment, did one of the cleaning people state to my husband, "This is well within our means"). In the end, it pays to always have everything in writing. I'm so glad that I do. I have the proof to defend everything I'm saying. I followed and completed all the parameters and requirements given to me in the emails before the cleaning. And now, this company is trying to justify not returning my deposit in any way they can because the company knows what they are doing is wrong. This company is scamming their Groupon customers by charging them a "refundable deposit" if you follow their written conditions - which is giving them a review that they deem acceptable no matter where you post it. If you don't, you will not receive your money back (as was stated in the phone call to me). And then afterwards, receive a text that claims all the "other conditions" you "didn't follow" (that was never written or explained to you in their email correspondence that they provide before your cleaning) and that that's the reason why you will not receive a refund. I am very disappointed in this company and the way they choose to do business. Using bait and switch tactics, intimidation and speaking negatively about their customers to other customers is very unprofessional and alarming. Francesca and Martin are EXCELLENT!! They both work diligently at making my home/business sparkle. Any request I've made, they've made happen!! (even dusting the tops of floorboards). My home was recently remodeled so floors, appliances, counter tops, sinks, fixtures (just about everything) is brand new. My primary request was to keep everything looking brand new. They've gone beyond that. The one thing we did not have replaced during the remodel was the Master shower glass enclosure, somehow Francesa and Martin got the etched-in water spots off so even THAT looks brand new. I also love that they offer two service levels, one standard cleaning alternated with a "super-dooper" service. It saves me money, and keeps the house spotless. I moved out and they came and cleaned my whole apartment from top to bottom places I didn't even know I had dirt and they steam cleaned my carpets.
