Permanent placement was only ~30ish min!! The drive is far for us, but the patient care and experience here by her and all the staff makes it worth it. Also the interior is sleek, spacious, modern, and clean. 10/10 music selection and entertainment (headphones, ceiling TV?!, pillow headrest) minimizes procedural apprehension. Highly recommend! Highly recommend this place! It's so clean and beautiful inside. On top of that, the staff are so helpful, and you can tell that they all enjoy working together. I know many of us don't enjoy going to the dentist, but Excel Dental puts in the time to make your appt as comfortable as possible. There are TVs on the ceiling to distract you, you can also ask for a pillow under your legs to maximize comfort, they also have neck pillows. Dr. Huynh is so knowledgeable and I really appreciated her analogies to help me understand how to best take care of my teeth. I had a cleaning and fillings done by her and her team, and it was so comfortable. I didn't notice anything. I watched my shows throughout the whole almost 2 hour appointment. I also got fitted for a night guard and that process was so smooth and quick. They have all the latest technology to ensure that you don't have to be inconvenienced to maintain a healthy smile. Not to mention, they are transparent with pricing so I know exactly what I would be paying upfront. I can't recommend this place enough. The office is easy to find and has several parking spots in the front. I was immediately greeted by the front staff and had a smooth check in process. Once seated, I had my x-rays taken by Becky. She was so sweet and ensured that my cavity fillings will go smoothly. When it comes to the dentist, I tend to have high anxiety and think about my past traumatic experiences. I was given headphones to watch a movie of my choice to easy my anxiety. I enjoyed that a lot as I was able to lay down and see the movie on the ceiling. It was a nice distraction. Dr. Vivian Huynh did two of my cavity filings. She was so gentle that I was falling asleep! I never thought I could say that during a dentist appointment. I didn't feel any pain and she always checked up on me. She showed me before and after pictures of my fillings as well! First off, I want to mention that this is the NICEST dental office I've ever visited (I'm been to multiple offices in LA, OC and SD). Everything is so bright and welcoming, from the moment you pull into the parking lot and see the entrance. When you walk into the front office, it feels as if you're in an interior design showroom! I also want to mention that rooms all included a Tv on the ceiling (with headphones provided) so you can watch TV/sports/Netflix while they're working on your teeth. The bathrooms were super modern and clean as well, which is always a plus. Beyond appearances, the staff provided excellent and prompt care (special thanks to Dr Vivian). All staff members were friendly and professional throughout all our interactions. Dr Vivian was great at conversing in layman terms so I could fully understand the treatment plan. She was efficient and ensured to provide my all my options, while taking into account my insurance plan and copays. I visited for an Invisalign consult and general cleaning/examination. The process to set up an appointment was so seamless as well! The Excel Dental team was great at texting me so we could set up a time that worked well with me.
