A…read morespecial shout-out to Barrett, who was responsive, kind, and easy to work with from my first call, several weeks before I brought my truck in. He's great at what he does, and I truly appreciate his communication and help throughout the process. My request was a little outside the usual repair job. I wanted additional work done as part of an insurance-covered bumper repair, including an aftermarket bumper. Other shops I contacted, including one GEICO directed me to, weren't willing to accommodate the request. I searched for highly rated body shops in Minneapolis, found Hagen's, and I'm glad I called. They were willing to work with me on what I wanted, and they did a great job. If you're considering an aftermarket front or rear bumper alongside body work, give them a call and ask what's possible. I really appreciated their flexibility and willingness to help.

I let Juergen know I'd be paying out of pocket; since it's a 20 yo car in hopes to keep my cost down I told him I wasn't expecting showroom quality. He inspected the car and said he would do the best he could. Knowing I wasn't going through my insurance company upon his suggestion I was able to save $100's more by bringing in my car with the headliner and sunroof assembly already removed for him. When I picked it up a couple days later I don't know how he did it, but it was immaculate! I was amazed he removed every single dent from the hail, plus some from parking lots- even on body creases he was able to pull the dents! And all at a very fair and affordable price. I'm not one to write reviews, but as I was looking up his number to make a new appointment on a different car I felt Juergen needed to be recognized.

I have always been happy with Collision center but very disappointed in my experience with the hail repair/ There were a couple of small door dings on a door that also had hail damage. The insurance company would not pay for those dings. You would think for the thousands of dollars on hail repair that Juergen would go ahead and remove the two small door dings (Both cars in excess of $8000 in repair). Nope, he wanted extra money. I would have told him to go ahead and not bother with the car had I know he was going to do a partial job. Bad customer service. Will never use again.

As a result State Farm lowered the claim amount by $1200. Either Collision Center is over charging State Farm, or they are penalizing me for not taking it to their shop. Now, even if I take it to another shop I'll be fighting State Farm for the $1200 from the original estimate. This might also be a good reason not to take your vehicle to a State Farm Approved Vendor.
