I was helping a friend find a service to remove a couple of large dents from the trunk of her S450. Mercedes had wanted to put a new trunk on the car, so I assumed the task may be something that would be a difficult project for even the most skilled of the dent aficionados. I was wrong! When I picked the car up, I honestly couldn't even tell where the dents were in the first place! I even inspected the areas with a flashlight and couldn't tell at all where the damage had been. While visiting friends in Virginia, large walnuts from some very tall and old trees landed on the hood of my prided Mustang, putting in a few dents. When I returned for an insurance claim, the agent gave me a recommendation for a body shop. I went there and the shop said that it would not attempt to pound out the dents because they were in an awkward location, but would instead fill them and repaint my hood! (Of course, the colors would not perfectly match.) So I checked out Excel Dent Removal. Steve pounded out the dents perfectly and his bill was only 1/3 of what my insurance agent's recommended shop was going to charge. I promptly let my insurance agent know of the experience. Steve did a fantastic job of pounding out the dents and prevented the problem of painting the hood with a color that would not be a perfect match -- and save a lot of cash. A great "find!" Wow! We got a nasty door ding in our new 2014 F-150 within two months of bringing it home. It was a pretty significant (very intentional) and very obvious. Unfortunately it was right on a body line and I had very little hope that anything paintless was going to bring it back to like new condition. Was I wrong! So I contacted Excel by email on Wednesday with a photo of my dent that was on the passenger side front wheel well. Its a pretty ugly dent. I was able to set up my repair over email for Friday afternoon. I dropped it off and even had a car wash added to my repairs. I was a little worried that they wouldnt be able to get the dent out because of its location. I went to pick it up and noticed it looked like brand new again!!!
