Leslie is absolutely amazing, she's really attentive and can personalize your massage!

My daughter brought me there as a Mother's Day gift. I had a facial with Lauren....my first facial! It was FANTASTIC! She was excellent! Very calming, and my face felt wonderful. It was so relaxing....I fell asleep! I am hooked on facials! Blake did my massage.....again..FANTASTIC! Before we got started, he asked me if there were any areas I was having problems with. I told him that I just started to walk again so my hips hurt. Well...he not only gave a great massage, but he also massaged my feet! Thought I'd died and gone to heaven! I have had several messages in my life and no one ever massaged my feet. When I told him this, he said that when I mentioned I had started walking again, he thought that my feet needed attention as well.....now that's listening to your client! My daughter had Chi for her massage who was also AWESOME! So yes...I would recommend Evolve to everyone! read more

I love Evolve Wellness Spa! It's an incredibly relaxing place with a ton of services to offer. I tend to opt for the deep tissue massage and have had many great massages here over the years. Today I had a 90-minute deep tissue massage with Blake, and it was excellent. Blake is very talented and takes time to discuss exactly what you need in a massage. He is very professional, very kind, and made my massage a truly wonderful experience. Thanks, Blake! read more

A much-needed massage in a beautiful setting. I could have easily spent the day here. Brittany is amazing!

My partner and I got a couples' massage and it was very enjoyable. The room was very relaxing and the massage was high quality. My only issue was that my masseuse asked for particular things that are included and I might like, whereas my partner's did not, so we did not get the same options. Despite that, we had a wonderful experience and would recommend it to others. read more

I purchased a Groupon deal where I got a facial and massage for one low price. I was super excited about it! Whenever I arrived, there was some sort of a mix-up and my appointment was somehow cancelled. Needless to say, the co-owner more than made up for the snafu! It was handled so professionally and kindly that I was beyond excited to go back! PS. I want to make sure to shout out to Darius for giving me one of the most amazing massages I have ever had! This place is TOP NOTCH and so warm and inviting. read more

I had a 60 min massage with Riley and it was amazing. I have been getting massages bimonthly for over a decade and I can hands down say this was the BEST massage I've ever received. She was professional yet friendly. Her knowledge and experience were evident in everything she did. She customized the massage to exactly what I needed at that moment and I left feeling wonderful. I will absolutely be back and can't wait for my next massage with Riley! I HIGHLY recommend. read more

I have been coming here for over 10 years. This is hands down (pun intended) best spa in Pittsburgh. Becky is by far the best massage therapist I have had ever had. read more

I just left evolve after getting a facial with Stephanie. I feel a million times better. My skin was extremely dry and red before going into see her and now it is absolutely glowing. She is so knowledgeable and uses products according to your skin type and what works best with your skin. She also recommeneded products for me to use at home. Highly recommend. read more

You have to go see Leslie. Undoubtedly, Leslie is the best massage therapist I have worked with. She provides the quintessential relaxation experience. Her authenticity is unparalleled and she truly cares for her clients' wellbeing. Unequivocally, you're missing out if you're not working with Leslie. read more

Great overall experience! So cute inside & very relaxing. My massage with Leslie was awesome, I will definitely be going back soon!

I've been going to Evolve for a few weeks now, and keep coming back because of how awesome Leslie is! She takes the time to understand pain points, and intuitively knows how much pressure to use. I honestly couldn't recommend her enough -- I've struggled to find a great massage therapist for years since leaving my hometown, and Leslie goes above and beyond any expectations I had coming in. read more

Always enjoy my massages at Evolve! The atmosphere is calming and everyone is always professional. I also had my eyebrows tinted, which has lasted now two weeks! read more

Oh god... If I never go here again, it will be too soon. I got a deep tissue massage, but it felt like I was barely being touched. I paid for a 60-minute massage, not a petting session. I don't think that I at all resemble a cat -- if I did, the massage I got would've been appropriate and adequate, but I'm not, so I expect to get what I pay for, and was thoroughly displeased. read more

The Groupon Gods were smiling upon me with this deal! I got a massage, facial, and waxing last Saturday. Making an appointment was super easy, and they'll e-mail you confirmation and a day-before reminder. I hate talking on the phone, so this was a plus. It's located right across the street from Casbah in a converted old house. The interior has a modern, zen-ish feel, and the staff were professional, accommodating and nice. I started with the Primal Relaxation massage, which was a fantastic Swedish massage. The masseuse was skilled and friendly, and she worked her magic as I relaxed on their heated bed. A white noise machine is used, and while it blocked out most of the S Highland Av noise, I could still hear the occasional motorcycle and siren. Next was facial and waxing. The waxing was efficient and not painful. The Seasonal Organic Facial was your typical facial: steam, cleansing, masque, extractions, moisturize. My only complaint is that I still have some marks from a few of the extractions. A few tips: bring quarters for the parking meters & they allow you to tip on a credit card. read more

Anytime I'm feeling overwhelmed by work I schedule an appointment here for a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. It's easy to make a reservation and I've received excellent massages and am willing to make the drive to this spa in particular as I always get incredible service and feel relaxed when walking out the door. Highly recommended. read more

Evolve Wellness Spa is beyond professionally and truly a representation of what I look for in high quality spa. Having traveled to many spas in Pittsburgh and across the world, I highly recommend my own clients there due to my experiences at Evolve Wellness Spa and especially as a professional hair designer in the industry. read more

I had a wonderful experience at Evolve. Darius gave me a super relaxing massage and Olga gave me the best facial I have ever had! I will definitely be back!!! read more

My friend and I both received mani/pedis at Evolve this morning. Our experience was less than pleasant. We were stationed up front by the entrance where several employees and clients were constantly in and out of the door making it difficult to relax. Although the staff was friendly, the two women doing our nails engaged in conversation about how much other clients tipped them. My friend and I found this to be very awkward and uncomfortable. Most importantly, my nails looked terrible. Not only were there not enough coats applied to my nails, the nail polish was all over my skin. I find it very annoying to drop $65 on a mani/pedi only to get home and have to redo my nails. Good thing I brought my own polish. read more

Evolve Wellness Spa - Day Spas Near Me - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

I was given services here as a gift and was hoping for a tranquil and "special" experience. I didn't have a great experience, and wouldn't return. The website gives the impression of this being a higher end but affordable "spa," but the atmosphere and attention to detail were lacking. I had a massage and manicure. The masseuse was technically very good and worked on couple of problem areas really well. She was very thorough and responsive, did a great job with the spots I mentioned. On the other hand, it was a hot stone massage and I don't think that was really her "thing." Most of the stones were so hot they had to be removed; this happened numerous times so I was kind of on edge waiting for the next one each time. I haven't had that experience with a hot stone massage elsewhere. It also just wasn't very relaxing; the stones felt like an afterthought rather than being integrated into the strokes. I would schedule with her again for a different type of massage, but not hot stone again. I think a good spa should know the staff's strengths and weaknesses and assign customers accordingly so this doesn't happen. I can't think of anything good to say about the manicure. I sat at a high table in the window on a freezing day as staff chattered at the front desk and people came in and out. Not relaxing, spa-like, or professional at all, more like the local beauty shop. The technician was drinking from an open fast food cup while doing my nails and snacking right next to me as my nails dried- not a very hygienic practice. My "citrus manicure" was actually a really fast basic manicure with some incredibly strong smelling off brand fruity lotion at the end. I specifically scheduled the citrus because the other manicure option had strong smelling oils and I wanted to avoid that. The high table and stool were uncomfortable for a manicure, so following my massage I'm sitting there perched on a stool, crammed into a cold corner with my shoulders hunched up around my ears and an overwhelming smell making my head hurt. Just really disappointing overall. One poor woman in a spa robe walked by through the busy waiting and manicure area and you could see right through the robe; I can't believe they had her change and walk through like that. All of this is somewhat nitpicky, but created an atmosphere I wouldn't want to return to and I wanted to share the details for others making the same decision. On the other hand, if you need an every day run of the mill basic service, the prices are decent and it's not a bad place- again just nothing fancy or particularly "sap like." read more

I have been in Evolve Wellness Spa for past two years. I visited there at least once a month to get a massage. I experienced massages from all female staffs except one, and I will talk about the best three female staffs (I have never gotten massages from male staffs). Kalina - She is my most favorite one. She has a massage style closest to chiropractic one. Of course, she doesn't twist your neck or waist. Rather, while she gives you a massage, she gives you a light stretching of your body. She also has powerful fingers. So if you want something less than a chiropractic treatment, but more than just a massage, I recommend her strongly. She also has a fastest massage speed compared to other staffs. She works fast not to miss any of your body part she can massage. Rachel (Not Rachael Janelle who I haven't tried yet) - If you want more relaxed, soft styled massage, go for her. She has a similar massage style to Kalina's but with less force and no chiropractic component (no stretching). Helen - I think she is most experienced female massage staff in Evolve Wellness Spa. She has a massage style between Kalina and Rachel. Only one negative thing about her was that when I got relaxation massages from her about a year ago, she charged extra $10-$15 for her massage oil. I am not sure whether she still charges extra money for her oil. Please ask a receptionist about extra charge when you make an appointment with Helen. When I got Hot Stone massage from her, she didn't charge extra money. All these three massage staffs have great skill. They just simply have different styles. They also always give you a full time massage (55-60 minutes for 1 hour massage, 85-90 minutes for 1.5 hour massage). They are also friendly, don't hesitate to tell what you want. Also, I am still a student, and not a most generous tip giver. However, they always treat me well. read more

I enjoyed a wonderful facial at Evolve. Very relaxing and the esthetician was extremely kind and professional. A day later my skin still feels awesome! read more

I really liked this place! It was my first experience in here. Facial was amazing! Probably the best facial that I've had in Pittsburgh . Massage was very nice too! The only thing that a little disappointed me was that instead of 60 min massage I received almost 40 min. And for some reason they charged me extra money, instead of given price by phone. But anyway, I'm definitely coming back here again! read more

I'm a repeat customer of this business but my 4/2/16 visit was the first time I had a massage treatment. It was phenomenal. I'm somewhat picky because I most often would use Massage Heights and think they are consistently great but thought I'd give Evolve a chance. My therapist was Matt and he truly is amazing. I love Evolve. They are friendly yet professional and it's great to be able to schedule online. Also, go see Keri for your waxing needs! read more

Very disappointed by the lack of customer service and professionalism. A massage and facial were scheduled for me as a surprise. The facial was wonderful, although not worth the price. I am currently pregnant and a prenatal massage was not scheduled as it was a gift. The salon was unwilling to modify my massage in any way, doing just arms, legs, or feet, etc. The girl working the front desk was very rude and basically told me oh well it was my fault and that the massage could not be modified and that I would not receive any money back or any type of credit. Very disappointing experience. read more

I love it here. And I go at least once a month since I purchased their monthly auto-pay package (comes with other great options to save). I've sampled a lot of the services and think they are all great. Since yelp seems to filter so many reviews with names, I'll leave those out, but you'll find all of the massage therapists to be wonderful. The acupuncturist is also great -- he does a comprehensive pulse check each time. So glad this place is here. read more

After a tumultuous 6 months, I had the absolute pleasure of finding this place on Yelp and getting a massage from Becky today. She gets five stars for being kind and calm and technically very talented and for taking care of me during a difficult time. I'd like to give another 5 stars to the woman at the desk (whose name I didn't get), she was also a welcome kind soul. When you are from out of town, you never know what you're getting at a spa you've never been to, and today I was a very lucky customer. Hook yourself up, and ask for Becky, she's awesome. read more

I have been going to Evolve for almost 5 years and have never had a negative experience. The staff is gracious, professional, and extremely competent. I am a Helen junkie for her energy based massages. She is always able to take me from grumpy to happy in 90 minutes. She was unavailable yesterday when I was desperate for bodywork so I chose Kalina. Wow! This woman can really deliver. Sounds bad...it's not that sort of massage spa. What I mean is that she can work specific muscle groups and destroy tension and tightness like no ones business. She spent 90 minutes on my upper body and left no stone unturned. Her techniques are solid and she can accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. She's my "new best friend". read more

Keri gave me a fabulous facial. I cannot give Evolve a 5 star because although the service Keri provided was exceptional, they must have rooms upstairs and my relaxing facial was interrupted by constant stomping from above. The relaxing music and dim lights could not let me completely enjoy the experience because of the noise from above. read more

I got lucky finding this spa. Beth was very kind and just made you feel at ease. It is a very relaxing calming atmosphere. I had the most amazing massage!!! I recommend this over the other spas I have been too in the area. Beth makes you feel like you are a guest in her house as opposed to being number in line like other places. The prices are very reasonable and the service is fantastic. I plan on going back every chance I get and I am far from the spa kinda guy. read more

Like most reviewers on here I bought the Groupon. I am always looking for deals to be frugal. No matter what this will be the spa I come to for my massages from now on, Cara is amazing. She is a good soul and not only gives a good physical massage but she eliminates bad energy too. I have recommended this spa to multiple people and they have a referral discount too! I like the fact that they use the Hungarian Organic facial line called Eminence. fabulous products, and they smell good enough to eat. I LOVE this spa! read more
