He talked to us about our skin concerns and offered a lot of advice on their products. You could tell that Drew loves working here and helping others. The soaps and candles here are handcrafted in this shop and make great souvenirs to take home to friends and family or for yourself. My husband bought and is currently using their soaps for shaving, and I have a candle in my home office. The items aren't cheap, but they are a good value for a local, handmade product. Drew also gave us some coupons to use on the website in case we want to order more products in the future. We love coming to local shops like this when we travel, so we'll be back the next time we're in Asheville.

It may be bias since the other location was the one I was first acquainted with but I found the other space a bit more comfortable and charming. Not to say there's anything wrong with this one. I just love the more rustic, wood decor of the other. But this location still has so many delicious honey varietals to choose from! They have their own locally sourced honey including Sourwood and Wildflower, and some sourced varieties from out of state, including Tupelo from Florida and the Chicory and Meadowfoam from the Pacific NW. They even carry Lehua from Hawaii and Fireweed from Alaska! There's also infused flavors like coffee, ghost pepper, chai, lavender, vanilla bean, and more. And the best part? You can try them all! They also have some really cute bee themed housewares, plus skin care, candles, and other products made from beeswax. Perfect for gifting or hoarding for yourself. Not that I'd know anything about that.... ;)

Best Bride was, and so even though we didn't have an appointment, we drove over to see if they could accommodate us. From the moment we walked in, the difference was like night and day. We were warmly greeted and when we explained what happened, they told us they'd do whatever they could to take care of us. Even though they were busy with some other appointments, they made us feel special and welcome. It was such a pleasant experience from beginning to end, and I found quite a few dresses that I am now considering. The owners are incredibly friendly and will give you exactly the kind of experience that you would hope to have. High, high marks. We plan to visit them again as my date gets closer to see what other stock might rotate in, but they do have a large selection in a range of sizes, and can order anything you might like on their site that isn't out.

Kiana did a beautiful job with my hair. I was long overdue for a new 'do and she took her time and showed such care that I felt reinvigorated, physically and emotionally. The change was beautiful and dramatic, and she made sure that I was completely satisfied before all was said and done. The salon staff was friendly, and the physical environment was a perfect blend of rustic-boho-glam. I am of an age group where I am at higher risk for Covid related illness and additionally I am immune compromised. I have wanted appointments where I could wear a mask during my services but this request was treated in an aggressively unpleasant way by the salon owner's own daughter. This individual has given the impression she is against vaccination as well as allowing others the choice to mask for their own safety. Her attitude made my appointment very uncomfortable. There are zero Covid safety protocols in place in this salon and almost no one masks even during the recent outbreaks. This may not impact other folks in the slightest but if you are immune compromised and trying to find a salon that acknowledges/accommodates and takes Covid precautions- avoid, avoid, avoid. I don't mind what people's personal beliefs are but when they influence my experience at a business and potentially impact my health? The risk -in my opinion- isn't worth it. I'd rather give my money to people who are at least open to the idea of allowing people to take precautions against infectious disease if the CDC advises their risk group to do so. Two stars because I really loved and appreciated the times I had my hair done at this salon before Covid- before things got so crazy and, at this establishment, just downright angry.
