Not only was her stupid chatter annoying, she argued with us about never having carried an item we know we purchased there! We lived in the Deep South for nearly 30 years and never experienced an encounter that felt like such an inauthentic put-on of 'southern charm.' Sorry Duncan &York. They have their own locally sourced honey including Sourwood and Wildflower, and some sourced varieties from out of state, including Tupelo from Florida and the Chicory and Meadowfoam from the Pacific NW. They even carry Lehua from Hawaii and Fireweed from Alaska! There's also infused flavors like coffee, ghost pepper, chai, lavender, vanilla bean, and more. And the best part? You can try them all! That was my favorite part of visiting, of course, and the staff was very kind and generous with us. We didn't just sample and leave though! We ended up buying more than a few jars to take home to us and to my mom. Speaking of gifts, they also have some really cute bee themed housewares, plus skin care, candles, and other products made from bee's wax.
