I had older implants, capsular contracture, and needed scar tissue removed, along with replacing my implants and having a breast lift. Dr. Bresnick took the time to explain everything to me, answer my questions, and make sure I understood what could realistically be achieved. I never felt rushed or pressured. For my surgery, I chose 500cc Motiva Ergonomix implants with a circumareolar lift, and I'm truly so happy with how everything is healing and coming together. My breasts already look softer, more balanced and much more natural than they did before. I'm still early in my recovery, so I know my results will continue to settle and change, but even at this stage I feel very confident that I made the right decision. Dr. Bresnick and his team have also been very attentive throughout my recovery. Whenever I've had questions or concerns, I've felt comfortable reaching out and have always felt cared for. It has been over seven months since my surgery, and not a day has gone by without stress, regret, and sadness about the outcome. What I hoped would increase my confidence has instead had the opposite effect, significantly affecting how I feel about my body. Before surgery, I was very clear that I wanted a small, natural-looking BBL. Unfortunately, the result I received was not consistent with the aesthetic I had hoped for. The outcome appears much boxier and larger than what I had envisioned and discussed during my consultations. (I am willing to share photos documenting my experience.) I began expressing concerns about the shape almost immediately after surgery and was repeatedly reassured that I needed more time to heal, that swelling needed to resolve, and that the fat would eventually "settle." I trusted the process and waited patiently. However, after more than seven months, the concerns I raised from the beginning remain. I also experienced issues with the contour of my thighs that I brought up during follow-up appointments. I followed the recommendations I was given, including compression, multiple lymphatic massages, and foam placement, but I did not see meaningful improvement. What has been most difficult for me is not only the outcome itself, but the feeling that my concerns were never truly addressed. I left multiple appointments hoping for reassurance or solutions and instead felt that I was continually being told to wait longer. As time passed and the results remained unchanged, that became increasingly heartbreaking. Since my surgery, I have consulted with twelve board-certified plastic surgeons to better understand my options moving forward. One thing I learned is that every surgeon has a different aesthetic style and approach, and not every surgeon is the right fit for every patient's anatomy or goals. Looking back, I wish I had spent more time researching different surgical styles and seeking additional opinions before making my decision. Based on my personal outcome, I do not feel that the surgical approach used in my case aligned with my anatomy or the natural aesthetic I had clearly communicated that I wanted. I won a IPL treatment at Liftique watching a zoom video with Dr. Hakimi. Pam was wonderful, I loved it. Nicole T. greeted me she is so great to talk with. I had been contemplating getting a facelift. She made me feel so comfortable and assured me Dr. Hakimi is the best surgeon, she told me I would be so happy. Dr. Hakimi spoke to me and showed me what I would be going through and assured me everything would be fine. Two weeks later I had a facelift. Dr. Hakimi is wonderful, his bedside manner is special. Dr. Shervin Aminpour changed my life. When I was 12 years old, I got accidentally hit on the nose…read morewith a hockey stick in PE class. It broke my nose. I was afraid to tell my parents. Even though they noticed my nose looked crooked all of a sudden, I denied it out of fear, because I was afraid of doctors/hospitals at the time. I couldn't breathe well out of my right nostril. A few years later I started to notice the change in my face due to this unaddressed fracture. I hated how I looked in the mirror and I didn't feel like myself. In my late teens I went to my primary doc, told them I think I broke my nose, and explained the injury. The doctor took a look at me and said my nose was completely normal, didn't address the obstructed right nostril, and said my nose just changed because of puberty and it was my underlying genetics that made me look that way. I was disappointed but accepted what they said because they were an MD, and I didn't want to undergo an unnecessary procedure. Fast forward many years and I just couldn't shake the feeling that something was not right. I stumbled upon a picture of myself before the injury and that was the final straw that led me to seek a second opinion. I searched online for different docs and wanted to find someone who specialized in this form of reconstruction and cosmetic procedure. Long story short, I found Dr. Aminpour. The second he walked into the examination room, without even reading my file, he took one look at me and said "You broke your nose." I cannot emphasize enough how relieving this was for me. I felt like I was crazy for seeing something wrong when my primary doc told me there wasn't. Dr. Aminpour then discovered my septum was deviated through the physical exam, because it was obvious to him that I wasn't passing much air through the right nostril. I was very nervous on surgery day but he did a great job of reassuring me and easing my nerves. I can't tell you how much this procedure changed my life for the better. I got a combo septo/rhinoplasty. After I was cleared to take the bandages off, I left my house to run errands and saw my reflection in a car window. And for the first time in years, I loved what I saw. I felt like MYSELF. Finally my outward appearance matched what I felt on the inside. I asked Dr. Aminpour to make my nose look as similar as possible to what it was before my injury and he did so wonderfully. I stated my concerns about having a nose that had too much of a upturned swoop and a tip that was too thin/pointy. He reassured me that he wouldn't create that look and left the tip alone. The result is natural-looking AND... Taking a real full inhale for the first time in 2 decades made me realize what I was missing for so long. Then they turn around and put the blame on their patients saying it's their responsibility to verify if they are covered as if the patients are the one with the title "medical receptionist" allegedly this office exists for a money grab they don't care at all and take advantage of they use these words "we will send it to collections" just so they can pay their out of office doctors they bring in, they will turn around and tell you that you took up their doctors time, but don't even consider the fact that you're not there for fun. You also have a life and have a job and they have now taken up your time because they failed to let you know that they don't accept your insurance until after the appointment and now you have to fight for your right as well as go see another doctor again take another day off again lose out on money that you need to pay your bills again. If they hire someone at the front desk they need to give them enough training, so that they don't turn around and blame it on the patients when their employees fail to do their duty. When somebody doesn't know how to do their job why does it become the patient's fault? While I was there, there was another man in there that was arguing with them so it seems as if this isn't the first time they try to swindle patients. Their manager is very rude and aggressive towards someone who is just trying to figure out why they waited until after you have seen the doctor to let you know how much you are going to have to pay for the visit and just tells you that you're arguing with her I didn't realize how easy it is to use "I don't wanna argue with you" as a way to shut down someone who's just trying to figure out why their office messed up this bad when they are a doctors office. If you have patients triple checking with you that you accept their insurance that means they can't afford to pay for a $200 visit! If you let patients know you're gonna get them an authorization because you accept their insurance that means there is no co-pay, and there is no fees if you discover as a medical receptionist as a doctor as a billing encoding employee that a patients insurance is not covered after you have told them it is covered then you should let them know before they go into the visit so that they can decide whether they can afford to pay it or whether they will cancel their appointment and go with a doctor that does accept their insurance because if they could afford private doctors they would have private health insurance. Mind you they will have you fill out a new patient authorization form online where you upload pictures of your insurance card so this means now they have your insurance card in multiple ways and they still fail to do their job correctly!

The recovery was extremely painful. The skin on my back felt so tight that simply laying on my back hurt. I was dealing not only with the normal discomfort of recovering from liposuction, but also the pain of the burn and watching what eventually became a very noticeable scar develop on my body. The emotional impact has been even harder. I chose cosmetic surgery because I wanted to feel more confident in my body. Instead, I have been left trying to hide a scar that has deeply affected my self-esteem. I have spent time, money, and energy seeing a dermatologist and looking into treatments to try to improve something I never had before this procedure. What has disappointed me most is the response afterward. I asked the office if they could reimburse me or at least help cover the medication my dermatologist recommended to lighten the scar, and I was told they could not. That response was incredibly upsetting to me. I wanted help dealing with the physical and emotional consequences of what happened to my back. I understand that complications can occur with any procedure, but how a patient is treated after a complication matters. I am sharing my experience because I wish I had known something like this could happen and how little supported I would feel afterward. This scar is something I now have to see and live with every single day. Yes, I made a mistake. But as a consumer, navigating the system is not something I do everyday. The "professionals" who book your appointment, who do this work everyday, won't check your coverage and don't care. I filled out pages of pre appointment forms and uploaded a copy of my insurance card and had no reason to think I wasn't covered. It's going to take me some time to recover from this bill for ONE OFFICE VISIT. Meanwhile, I still pay a lot for health insurance, like everyone else. Make sure you're covered!

Access via stairs on the side or an elevator behind the building. The lab which I visited has a separate entrance directly across the offices. Staff 4 stars: Most of my interaction was automated. Lab visits are walk-ins but you do need a referral from your UCLA doctor before you go. Once you enter, you sign in on a tablet and will then start getting text alerts on your phone. When you turn comes, the text will tell you which station to go to. Once you arrive at the station, you are greeted by a lab technician who logs you in and performs the necessary lab work. My lab technician was polite and efficient. Wait Time 4 stars: I am not sure if it is always this good, but I only waited 10 minutes. The Bottom Line 4 stars: A solid option in a pleasant and convenient location. Highly recommended!
