Before I begin this updated review, I would like to mention that Angella is the only person I would let touch my face. As a medical student who is looking to go into aesthetic medicine myself, I am extremely picky when it comes to choosing a provider that I truly trust. Her skill, precision, and honesty are unmatched, and the level of empathy and care that she's able to maintain throughout every single appointment is something that cannot be replicated! Recently, after seeing Angella for my initial follow-up dose of Dsyport, I ended up getting a touch-up with a Dermatologist in Norcal because I did not have time to come back down to LA within the time frame that I needed to. For context, my masseters are just extremely strong and sometimes require more units than expected, since it depends on how much teeth grinding I do both at night and throughout the day, all of which is heavily influenced by how stressed I am from school and work. This is unfortunately something that I wish I had never done because the Dermatologist's approach was not compatible with the goals that I had communicated to them, leaving me with my left masseters looking larger than the right as well as my face looking rounder because of where they injected the Dysport. Waiting a couple of months for this second round of Dysport to wear off was extremely frustrating and interfered significantly with my understanding of my image. When I saw Angella again after 4 months, she was able to notice the imbalance in my face immediately and explained the exact technique she was going to use to address the issue in a way that aligned directly with my goals, which she remembered. I walked away from this appointment feeling so grateful for her and so excited to be reunited, and also so sure that I would never let anyone else touch my face out of convenience ever again. I've had lip injections before and they never came out as pretty and symmetrical as Nurse Angella. My main concern was correcting a small hole/pout that I had from my prior uneven lip filler and she fixed it and did her magic on the rest of my lips. Holy crap. Sooo glad I found Angella. After many hours of research, and I mean a ton of hours, I stumbled upon Angella and the office where she works. I've wanted to do something different to my face, but being Asian, I'm scared to trust a lot of people with my face since I've had some bad experiences. I wanted someone who could give my honest advice and not try and oversell me, and also someone who knows the anatomy of an Asian face. I decided to take a leap of faith and book an apt. First of all, Angella is so sweet, warm and you can tell how knowledgeable she is. I seriously hate Med Spas, especially certain ones from where I'm from because they're intimidating and I feel like some only care about the money. The office (Dr Yoo) where she works, is the most inviting, nice, and comfortable office I have been to. And this is in Beverly Hills! They make you feel like you're just as important as anyone else. I decided to do the latest treatment, Oligio X and prp with gel for my face and what a game changer already!!! So happy with my results. My face is smoother, looks younger, and my skin is so much better. Just after one treatment. Im very impressed and can't wait for more treatments. First, i have never written a review before but i felt inclined to write this in the case that it helps someone in the future. This was my first ever filler experience and for me personally it was a traumatic and expensive one. I went in for lip filler and chin filler. I have whats called an "m shaped" top lip (see photo), which at times can be tricky to fill depending on the injector. I knew this and i did my research before coming to this office. I am not sure what happened, but it seemed like this injector did not pay attention to my face, lip shape, movement, etc. something did not look right with my lips. My top lip was very shadowed on top, like it was filled in on the border and not on the under side where it should have been. The filler was also placed in the middle of my lip, and i felt very self conscious when speaking to people. I had so much border lift that above my top lip kept getting sunburnt and with the filler in the middle turned downward, I felt like I looked like a turtle. That is the best way i can put it. Please look into an injector with tons of experience in m shaped lips if you have the same. I also went for chin filler and upon explaining what i was looking for she suggested to fill in chin shadows instead on the sides. In so many different lightings i notice large bumps that add a-lot of bulk to my lower face and I will also be now getting them dissolved. I added a star as the clinic knew what i was going through and they did offer to dissolve my lips, as well as my chin. They did not offer any money back when they charged 900$ each filler syringe (about 400$ more than most places). They claimed the dissolver was 700$, which again, is very overpriced and i felt like this was their way of getting me out of the picture and doing me some sort of favor. I waited about a month for the "swelling" to go down but the overall bad shape stayed there, i tried to come to terms with the shape and tried to save it with lipliner everyday and it was just not working. I dissolved my lips as it was detrimental to my self esteem and knew id be fixing them, and i left the chin shadow filler in as i was scared to dissolve my own HA there but i have now decided to just get it out of my face. In total this was a 1400$ loss and has required fixing from another injector who really analyzes my face. I will post photos of my lips in each stage. read more

Her IG is a great resource for all things botox, filler, and skin treatment 2. She provides real patient results, lots of before and after results that can help you see her work 3. When you first meet her, she will take her time in educating you, making sure that her patients are comfortable and fully know what theyre getting into 4. Was curious about getting preventative Botox but as someone who has not done any filler or Botox before I was hesitant. Someone had recommended Nurse Angella to me and I was so happy and excited to meet her. Not only is she super knowledgeable in her craft but she makes you feel so comfortable while your sitting in her chair, like your catching up with an old friend. She recommended we do some Botox on the forehead, 11's, and eyes brows.
