My sister had her first car buying experience at this dealership. We arrived at the dealership and waited for someone to acknowledge us for several minutes. There were other people so it didn't bother me that it took a few minutes. What bothered me was that no one explained that the sales people do not make commission and are not the ones who assist you in finding the car you need. Luckily my sister had looked online and knew which vehicles she wanted to look at. The staff did not guide her through the process. Update: I went back after speaking to Fred who assured me my experience was an outlier and that with notice he would have the vehicle ready. Jarquisha Harris was my sales agent and he was wonderful. We arrived at 6:30 (they closed at 7). He patiently let us test drive 4 different vehicles and explained the features on them. I went set on the Enclave but after walking the lot I fell in love with the Infiniti QX60. We stayed until after 7 and never felt rushed and like an inconvenience. I have not purchased yet but I wanted to update my experience. This is a very busy lot and per Jarquisha they move 400 vehicles a month so if you arrive at the wrong time you may have to wait but all in all. I fell like prior experience was not an accurate representation of their service I went to EVO hoping to look at a Buick Enclave. I called before to make sure it was in stock, which it was, and informed them that I was on the way to look at it. Typically, at other dealerships when I call ahead the vehicle is pulled up when you arrive ready for a test drive. That was not the case when I arrived at EVO, not a big deal. I check in at the desk and a guy in a orange shirt says they need to locate the vehicle and to wait a moment. After about 7 minutes, Mike comes and walks me to the car. Get to the car to find out it's not charged. Again not a big deal, let's jump it and continue. They tried to jump it 3 times and we were finally able to get it to turn over only to have it die again. Another salesperson, I didn't catch her name but she had bright pink Adidas on, came and stated that they would get a mechanic. I say ok and while you do that I'm going to get my aux cord to check for the apple carplau which was the determining factor for this model year. When I returned to the car everyone was gone. It's a large lot, so I called to the office and requested that they resend the salesguy and mechanic back. After waiting 5 mins at the car without anyone heading my way, I walk back up to the office. I explained the situation and another salesperson ( I believe his name was Shawn) offered to help and begin to walk to the car empty handed. I asked what he hoped to accomplish and he said he needed to get the VIN number. It's 2018 and we have to walk out to the vehicle at the back of the lot to get a VIN? I pulled it up on the phone gave him the info he needed. At this point I had been at the dealership for 40 minutes and had not accomplished anything. I had an appointment so I left. However, I walked into the dealership with a pre-approval from one of their preferred lenders and all they had to do was start the car to make a sale today and they were unable to do this. Which is insane. Oh and btw, I found my original salesman before I left he was apparently too busy eating to finish selling me a car. read more

I went to EVO motors to purchase a 2018 Nissan Maxima. I was impressed with the pricing, and enjoyed the test drive. Here's where it went south: 1.Upon returning to the lot, after the test drive, I noticed two small dents in the car. When I brought it to the attention of sales, I was told it was a used car and priced so low that they would not adjust the price. I left with the intention of purchasing the car after my husband could test drive it the next day. 2. My husband test drives the car and notices the navigation system is not working; he was told that it needed an SD card and they were only "$20.00-$40.00" on eBay (lie#1) 3. I call and speak to who I assume is their finance manager (I had my own financing) and explained my husbands concerns. I was told, again, that I could purchase the card for only "$20.00-$40.00" from eBay. I explained that in WOULD NOT be purchasing the car if the navigation was not fixed. I was told "we'll take care of it. Just come on in." (Lie#2) 4. I get to the dealership, I asked if the car was taken to Nissan to replace the part to restore function to the navigation. With a bellowing response, I was told, "Of Cooooourse!!" (Lei#3). I asked how much it was to repair. I was told $20.00 (lie#4). I advised the gentleman that his information was not correct as I called Nissan MYSELF and was told the part ALONE was $160, PLUS an additional $150 for labor. I basically was huffed off. 5. When I walked outside to inspect the navigation, the screen was black and said, NAVIGATION SYSTEM ERROR"...I asked what happened and was told that they just took the card from another Nissan on the lot and plugged it into the car I wanted to buy..(Nissan already advised me that the card needs to be programmed to the VIN of the car to which it will be attached). 6. When I told the gentleman of the discussion that I had just 10 min prior, he advised me, "It's not our responsibility to replace the card. This was a purchase from a rental fleet and sometimes the prior owner removes the card to remove their personal information."...not their responsibility to make sure the car I'm attempting to purchase is WHOLE. Hummm. At that point I wished him a good night, got in my car, and left. Funny thing is, I purchased the exact same car, with 7,000 less miles of the car at EVO and NO dents for almost the same price, the very next day. My experience was not pleasant, but honestly I'm glad it didn't work out. All I can say, is test EVERYTHING before signing. The only reason I'm giving this two stars instead of one is because the young man that assisted me with the test drive was super nice to both me and my husband. Other than that, not a good experience. Oh, I can't forget that the car was almost on empty when we did the test drive (the indicator reflected 17 miles to empty). I purchased my Kia Optima from Evo in February of 2017. I did a lot of research before purchasing this vehicle and found the best prices at Evo. I went on a Saturday morning, huge mistake! This place is super crowded on the weekend, so if you go, go on a weekday. I was able to test drive the car very quickly and the attendant was super friendly. While on a test drive, I heard a noise; to me it sounded like an issue with the brakes. When I mentioned it, the attendant asked for a manager to drive with me. He also heard it and said it was a pebble stuck in the rim. I know a little about cars, thanks to a brother and father who owned/operated an auto repair shop and was taken aback by this lame excuse. Brake pads are inexpensive, so I decided to purchase the vehicle. Beware, they do try to sell you a multitude of unnecessary add ons, just say no. They also do not negotiate on price. I had pre-approval from my bank, but their financing option had better rates. I left with my new car, somewhat satisfied with the experience. Getting the license plate was a fiasco at best. I had an upcoming trip and did not want to drive with a temp tag getting ready to expire. I called Evo to ask about my plates and they said that they mailed them. I waited a few days, no tags. I called the DMV, my tags were never requested by Evo. I called Evo back, told them the tags weren't ordered. They lied again and said that they couldn't get in touch with me. They finally ordered them. The tags we mailed well over the 30 day limit. You will get a fair price on a vehicle, but the customer service is horrible. read more

I bought a Lexus RX 350 from Evo back in 2018. They showed me a Carfax. One owner with no accidents. I was very happy with the price and didn't even complain about the bald tires or it needing an immediate oil change. I used to tell everyone this is a great place to come and buy a car. Well today my husband and I drive up there to trade in this Lexus for a newer model. First, every single car on the lot had bald tires. That is an impossibility. There is zero way that every person who brings in their car to sell has bald tires. Second the car was very dirty inside. The oil change notification was also on. Not sure why these 2 things are common with all their vehicles unless they are taking the tires and selling them and depleting the oil for their own use. Third The guy who got in the car to go with us on our test drive couldn't be bothered to look up his phone while texting. I understand they're not sales people, but it is still their paid job to go with us and show us the route to take. I asked him "isn't there a route we should be following". His short answer, without even looking up from his phone, was "yeah". No other details. We constantly had to ask which way to go because he was not saying anything. We didn't like the vehicle, and the price at the Lexus dealership was quite comparable. So we decided to go to the Tampa Lexus dealership. When they pull the Carfax on our vehicle it turns out it had three owners and had been in an accident with structural damage. So our car was literally worth half the Kelley blue book because their inability to sell a structurally damaged car on their lot. And I found out from the people at the Lexus dealership that there are so many people who buy Lexus from Evo and then try to sell them later on at the Lexus dealership only to find out they had been given false information about their vehicle. The point in all this, yes you can get a cheap price, but the reason has more to do with shiesty business practices than just because it's not a true dealership model. This is the 2nd car I purchased here. Seven days after I purchased the car stopped working completely. It's not a battery problem, I called them and because it is over the five days they won't take responsibility on the car... point being it's not worth to buy cars with this company. It might be cheaper than other places but if the car breaks few days after you stock with a car that you will have to pay for repairs when it was only a year old car, better to go to a dealership so you will have warranty on the car. Drove an hour to purchase a vehicle that we were pretty set on and had nothing but bad experiences from start to finish! When we arrive, nobody greets us and when we tell them what we are interested in, they point out the car and don't even show us themselves. When we bring up an issue on the car, they tell us it is common with those cars and there is nothing they can do. All of the employees were inside and had zero interest in helping anyone. Awesome experience! Just bought my son's car this weekend. I visited the dealership on a Thursday, Friday, and purchased the car on Saturday. I must say this dealership is great at sitting back and letting you look at the cars. No haggle price. The price is the price.That's the thing- they don't hassle you with a salesperson trying to make quota. And the prices are great! You simply research which cars interest you online first, then show up and test drive. Helpful hint: once you arrive at the location the cars will not have any prices or vehicle options. Therefore, pull up the EVO motors website, and use the search bar to type the vehicles last 6 numbers of the VIN. Easy. Awesome process. I've been telling everyone about this place. However, If you do want a sale person stay with you the entire time, start at a high price, go back and forth checking with the Sales Manager on pricing ad nauseam (referring to something that has been done or repeated so often that it has become annoying or tiresome) then this is not your dealership. Bad experience. First I will say that the people there are really nice but it's basically a repo lot. The cars are dirty, have horrible pitted tires on them, all have no gas, all have warning lights on, and come as is. This would be fine if you are looking for a regular Civic or Camry, but if you are looking at one of the higher end vehicles look elsewhere. I test drove a BMW 328i and I know how they drive. This car had 25k miles on it and drove worse than my Sonata with 137k miles on it. Also they had to cut my test drive short because the BMW ran out of gas! They had switched out all of the BMW tires on the lot with old miss matched cheap tires and said that they would sell you tires at cost if you need them. Also I got a quote from KBB for my trade in the amount of $2500 that was sent to Evo. Evo turned around and offered me $1250 and said that they take those KBB quotes and cut them in half. Go to Evo if you are in the market for a low end vehicle at a good price but don't trade yours in and DON'T buy a high end vehicle there. They aren't maintained well and this is an AS IS sale. read more

When I called to make sure the vehicle was still there, I was informed they don't take outside financing. I literally have a check in hand to purchase the vehicle. Who does that?! Absolutely the easiest car purchase I have ever done. Exactly what was advertised and prices are no haggle. No pressure salesmen, so it was a pleasant visit. Test drive was a pleasure, no divers license copy and hassle, just get in with worker and test drive. All cars are filthy dirty on outside, as they don't keep them a clean after arrival. Pollen season made it worse. Cars are mostly rentals and personal leases. Only concern is that you cannot view Carfax on their webpage, you must ask the to print it. Every car I did had been in a wreck of some kind. Mostly rear ended. As long as you know this, good purchasing environment, other dealers are worried. I searched for the used car I wanted on autotrader.com and several cars matching my description showed up on Evo Motors. I had never heard of this place, so my husband and I did our research. We learned that they do not haggle, what you see is what you get, they only deal with certain financing companies so it's best to not get financed through your own personal bank or elsewhere beforehand, and the condition of the car you see is what you drive off the lot. This is a busy place. You're reading this review because you, like us, were smart enough to do your research beforehand. The bad reviews, I'm sure, are from people who did not do their research, people who are used to buying cars from dealerships where they can wheel and deal, where they are catered to. Evo motors is not that. You go there to buy exactly what you saw on line for exactly the price shown, in exactly the condition you see in person. With that said, my husband, José, and I had a good experience with Fred selling us the car and Shawn assisting us with the paperwork. We were surprised that they never asked for a driver license or even our names before allowing us to go for a test drive in the car we later ended up purchasing. The car we purchased was several thousand dollars cheaper than what we had seen at other dealerships which is why we chose Evo. It was nice not having to haggle over the price because it was already reasonable. They checked my credit and between 3 financing companies chose the best interest, which for me, was 2.48%. I did go to my personal bank (grow financial) beforehand and ask what their interest rate for this car would be and it was 3.5%. I do have very good credit so I was expecting a very good interest rate, which I got! We also opted for the 6yr/125k mile warranty, which Fred was able to speak to from personal experience, which was great. My only complaint was that Fred asked another worker to clean the vehicle we were purchasing and said specifically "wash, shampoo, clean the tires, the works...". When the car was done, it was obvious that they had just run some water over it. The rims were still filthy, the inside still had some dirt spots on the cloth, etc. It would be nice if Evo would at least fully clean the car you're purchasing before driving off the lot with it. My husband and I spent several hours when we got home detailing it, and it looks brand new! We love our "new to us" car! Overall, I would say these are genuine people who are doing the job they are paid to do- sell cars. They are not in the business of cheating people or ripping anyone off. You can feel confident that you're leaving with a great deal without having to fight for it. We would definitely recommend Evo and would absolutely purchase another vehicle from them. read more

I have waited two weeks to give this review because I am just so upset about my experience. My mom signed the loan for me for a Buick Encore. Now I have two kids so when I drove the car with my kids in it the fit was so tight I was MISERABLE. But I was like ok I made this choice so stick with it. Anyways the next day the piece of plastic on the bottom starts flapping hardcore while I am driving. I go to the shop as I am still in my five days, they say "oh calm down Jt's just a piece of plastic I will just remove it and leave everything exposed" maybe they are right maybe it is "just a huge piece of plastic" but I paid 15k for this car.... THAT IS A LOT OF MONEY FOR ME. I ask the MANAGER and two other people can I switch cars even though my loan is through USAA. And the manager said to me yeah I mean if you want to over a piece of plastic go for it. I explained I wanted something bigger. But I got the ok so I found a beautiful black GMC Terrain that looks perfect and I even test drove it. Instantly I knew that was the car for my family. Called my mom she drove 25 minutes, we weee prepared to pay the $400 fee. It has now been three hours. My mom sits down with finance and what do they say, " we can't do it because your loan is through USAA" BUT WE VERIFIED LIKE TEN TIMES. I was so upset. Now I am stuck with a car that is so uncomfortable for my family I am just so depressed over this. Rick is a jerk and really just ruined my life. When we asked the manager why he was saying that he played dumb and acted like he had no idea.. I really wanted to like this place. Read their website before you visit. This is a no frills bargain factory so don't expect perfection. Expect huge savings and friendly professionals doing volume business using a system that gets customers in and out. They still managed to give us time when needed in a way that we didn't feel rushed. I got a deal and a half so wasn't too upset when only one vehicle key came with purchase. Will just purchase a spare elsewhere and replace the floor mats as they appear more worn than mileage would suggest. The previous owner's lease agreement was still in the glove box from auction so maybe a little sloppy and my girlfriend didn't love the location but we saved thousands. My grandfather was with me and an employee named Zac expertly navigated a situation that spared his feelings in a way I won't forget. Nicely done, Zac. Marco, Sean, the manager, and customer coordinators outside all did a great job too. Grandpa does say they need a working soda machine ( only one behind building was out of service ) and some benches outside the office where you wait for your vehicle to be brought up for test drive / pickup after sale. ( He was able to get one of the limited seats in the air conditioned lobby when needed. ) It was true for me as with other reviewers that I had to immediately stop to gas up my purchase as there was barely anything in the tank, but hey, we got grandpa his soda while there. read more

Great experience! I was able to look at all avaliable cars online and then go see just the ones that I was interested in. Keys are in all cars so that you can check the cars out with no sales person standing over you. Prices are as marked, no haggling. Staff was friendly and helpful. We bought our car during the week and from start to finish done in under an hour. They said they can get busy on the weekends. Detail shop was already closed for the night so they told me to bring it in when it was convenient for me and they would detail it, which they did. Over all great service and nice people. Well I have been seriously doing online shopping for a 2015 GMC Terrain SLT-1 or 2 for 3 weeks or so. Very specific in my needs and wants. While it seemed every time I found one online they always were at EVO Motors. I finally bit the bullet, arranged my financing so I would only have to go in a after an agreeable test drive and deal, would make an immediate purchase. I went in to their office today and brought up the vehicle on my phone that I wanted to look at and take a test drive, I had to wait about 45 minutes before they could finally get a dealer tag for me to test out the vehicle. The small office was extremely packed and really no seating so I waited outside in the 85° weather in my hot work clothes. I did tell them I also wanted to look at a Maxima that I saw online. I finally got to take a test drive and I was very discouraged as the vehicle that I was interested in did not have the navigation package, for that kind of vehicle and money that is a must and an absolute dealbreaker. The test drive was probably about five blocks is all I was allowed, and that is NOT enough time to really test the vehicle and see if it has power or any other issues, also I told young lady that I was already approved for my financing and was ready to make an immediate purchase. She just said well that's not really my job I'm just here to take you for a drive. I know that I mentioned the same thing over again when I was talking about the Maxima, I waited and I waited and I finally end up leaving hot and discouraged as they never brought the Maxima for me to drive. Let me also add that I told this same girl that I would need for her to please check the other Terrains on the lot for the Navi system. She was too busy, if she was smart she would've asked for my name and my phone number just in case. Number 1 problem too many cars for too small of a sales office, number 2, too young of sales people that do not know what they're doing, number 3, your sales associate should be the one that deals with you throughout the entire process that is how the sale is made!!! The very moment a potential customer comes into your office and tells you that they are already financed and ready to make an immediate purchase you jump on that sale, you don't allow them to walk away upset. I am totally impressed with this dealership! Initially, I thought I was being ignored until I found out that this is a NO PRESSURE kind of place. They let you walk around, check out the vehicles without any salesmen pressure!!! It's totally awesome! Then, when you are ready you take the key from the car you like up to the office where they greet you rather quickly and get you going on your car purchase! I was interested in a Hyundai Sonata and Evo Motors had several. Friday night I filled out a credit app on their website. I figured it would be good to get that part out of the way before I stopped in. First thing Saturday morning I got a call from Evo asking me what car I was interested in, how much I was putting down, etc. Several hours went by and I didn't hear back from them. I had an appointment to look at a Sonata at another dealership in Tampa. I sent Evo an email just before I left the house, asking if there was any news about my loan app. I ended up buying the 2015 Sonata Sport at the other dealership. It's 3 days later and I still haven't heard back from Evo Motors. No call back, no response to my email. Not sure why?? I guess it really doesn't matter now, but I would have liked to check out some of their cars. I had a decent down payment (2K), and good credit I ended up getting 2.75% financing through the other dealership. read more

Where do I start? I was interested in a 2015 Lincoln MKZ and I was trading in a 2013 Cadillac ATS, as I was looking for something a little bit larger. There are so many sales people, you don't know who you are dealing with. One asked me for my keys, so that he could test drive it, and after about 15 minutes he approached me and said that there was a problem with the vehicle as he couldn't get it out of drive!!!!! I have owned this car for 2 years, and never had 1 problem with it, and it had 46K on it. Come to find out that something had happened to the linkage, and I wasn't sure if I could make it back home safely!!! He then gave me a dollar amount for my vehicle which I thought was extremely low, however, I was starting to feel a sense of desperation, as something was wrong with my car, and he was telling me all the things that were wrong with the car????? Then he tells me that they are going to have to deduct another $200 to get the vehicle repaired!!!! WHAT?????? The car was running PERFECT and he takes it on a test drive and something happens, AND I HAVE TO PAY FOR IT??????????? They knew they had me in a tough position and took full advantage of it!!! To add insult to injury, they said that they do a 60 point inspection on all of their vehicles!!!!! OH REALLY?????? Is that why there is no cover for the inner portion of the trunk and not even windshield washer fluid in the car??????? They DO NOT perform 60 point inspections. The final blow was when they told me that they don't accept drafts, as I had been pre-approved through Navy Federal Credit Union. They said they can match or beat the rates, which I must admit, they DID do, however, when I signed my paperwork, they NEVER gave me a copy of the finance contract, and I had to call the bank and ask them to send me a copy. Even the bank was surprised by that. So anyway, it was a day from HELL, and I was penalized for things that was not my fault, however, I felt they they had me in a predicament, and there wasn't much I could do!!! read more

Not a great experience at all, the set up is kind of junk yard'ish. The vehicles aren't bad but the customer service is a bit unprofessional and you feel rushed. The test drive is literally around he block i would say the farthest you drive with a stoplight stop sign is 100 yards it's not enough to "test drive" anything! Here in Florida we all know it rains everyday and they said they send heard "detail" team when it rains so your car is going to be dirty when you get it. Also our vehicle had about an 8th of a tank of gas in it, and there's no real privacy. We had to get a vehicle quick because of an accident (not our fault, not that it matters) but we had to settle! They did say we could come back from a free "detail" or wash or whatever but we stay an hour away so yeah that isn't happening! There's no privacy at all either! Also the guy doing our paperwork kept our driver license so we got home and realized, great we have to go back the next day because they close at 7. Called and they couldn't find the license at first then thankfully they found them! When i picked them up they had a huge stack so it's not uncommon! Would i go back NO would i recommend friends? This is a terribly ran business establishment, with incompetent and downright condescending employees. I recently financed a car through EVO motors, the whole 8 hour process was dragged on and very unprofessional. During the signing process, multiple documents with my proprietary information was thrown in a trashcan and when i requested to view these documents seeing as they had MY information on them, the finance manager refused. When i requested for copies of the documents i was signing he was condescending, arrogant and literally said "we aren't your average shady dealership." Finally, after the signing process was complete, they "lost" my car for approximately 45 mins, later i came to the realization that it was parked across the street, sitting there unattended to. Lastly, they have recently contacted me and informed me that the finance manager "failed" to include sales tax in my original (signed) sales order, and that i'd have to drive the 2 hours back up to the dealership in order to complete a new contract with the additional tax added on. The business should be liable for this tax, due to the fact that they are an "agent of the state" according to the Florida department of revenue. It was the incompetency of this manager that has caused this business and myself a lot of issues, he needs to be reprimanded accordingly and the company needs to pay the tax that they failed to collect during the original transaction. **Update** Fred Fahra was courteous enough to drive out to my house in order to resubmit the financing paperwork. Myself and my loan company had been communicating with the finance manager all day concerning a Mercedes Benz GLC 300 that was available on the Jacksonville lot. I told the finance manager that I would be coming in today to view and purchase the vehicle if everything checked out okay. I had a 3 hour drive to do so. I was told to bring a check to purchase and not the pre-approval letter. My personal insurance was already placed on the vehicle. I got there and they let me test drive the car and as we were still overlooking the car they sent someone at the keys and stated that the car had been purchased by someone else. The finance manager stated that it was a first come first serve basis and that i should have put a deposit down to keep the car. I informed her that I was not told of this prior to coming and that that would not have been a problem if i would have known. She then stated that the deposit could not have been taken over the phone. How else was I supposed to pay a deposit if I could not pay over the phone and I live 3 hours away? The company was very unprofessional in my opinion. This definitely could have been handled differently especially if we had communicated on several occasions today. A simple phone call to state that someone else was interested in the car and asking me would I like to put down a deposit to hold it or saving me 3 hours drive would have been nice. Good selection of car. No high pitch sales tactics. They sell a lot of cars, so they are very busy. My only complain is with the delivery of the car. I was there for three days before finalizing the purchase the car. When I got into the car to leave the floor mats were still in the trunk, and there was dirt all over the plastic on the floor, I was running late to get back to work so I figured I would take care of it myself. I thought that was kind of weird because I was told it was just coming from the detail lot, but I was in a hurry and decided I would just vacuum myself. As I pulled out of the road and hopped on the interstate, I noticed I was completely out of gas. The fill windshield washer fluid light was on, and the oil change light was on, and vehicle Service was on. You would think buying a $28,000 sports car that when you leave the lot, you would have enough gas to get a few miles to a gas station. That the oil would be changed the fluids would be filled, and car would be clean inside. read more

I bought a vehicle here a couple months ago and I'm sadly disappointed. The entire experience was not all bad....I was impressed with the original experience due to the freedom to look around without being pressured! I had a very courteous staff member escort me throughout the lot and he disclosed Carfax information with me thoroughly if a vehicle interested me but he was not being pushy, just informative. That was a major plus for me and why I drove as far as I did passing several other dealerships 3 times before purchasing a car here. I test drove the vehicle I wanted and the air did not feel like it was working very well so I asked for them to check it out before I finalized the deal. I was told it was good to go and "the switch had come off track" whatever that meant....I know nothing about a car's air conditioning other than if it gets cold or not! Well I signed the deal and a week later (I hadn't even put 100 miles on the car) I was sweating bullets in my "new to me" car! I took it to my mechanic and not only did I need a new air compressor but I needed break pads and 2 tires too. I read the 60 point inspection advertisement on the website and my car had obviously been skipped on that ordeal! I called the dealership and told them the situation and was offered two things....to come back over and they'd look at it or they'd take it back for $1000 less than what I'd paid for it & I could trade it in for another car. I went back that weekend for the 4th trip even though I'd be taking a 1000 hit and didn't see anything I just had to have so I let them look at the air, they couldn't fix it either. I was a bit discouraged and scared to purchase another vehicle not knowing if I'd just have more problems with another one so I left & went back to my mechanic, had the air fixed on the car I purchased weeks prior and I guess I've just hated the car since cause that really ticked me off. I would recommend getting pre approved on line to avoid the wait times on the weekend. I would say, if you have financing through a bank, go to an actual dealership with multiple processes for financing. The staff is so unprofessional and we couldn't even get in the car bc everyone was too busy. No thanks! This is the best way to buy one or two year old cars if you know what to check and willing to compromise on ambience of a showroom. I got my car from them after visiting twice and trying 3 to 4 cars. The fees are all fixed but very much very reasonable looking at low margins on these cars. Whatever negative review I saw on yelp forced me to share my experience. The cars I was interested in were handed to us one at a time for test drive and as much time we wanted to see the inside and outside. This is not a big dealer who invests millions in the showroom and dealership and charge your customers indirectly. The only dislike was when customer pay a extra fee for financing from outside. Vehicles are great, all the guys are friendly and active. This is a no nonsense place and thus you don't waste much time in negotiations or unnecessary sales pitches for extra add-ons. So I would definitely recommend to my friends and all the people who are willing to buy a 'as-is' car with clean car fax for your decision. read more

Before you consider taking the time to go to Evo Motors you need to know that the price you see online is deceiving. Expect to pay $900-$2,000 more. Roberto seemed annoyed when we told him we had our own financing and told us we would pay the higher price which was $1,000 more. He would only continue the conversation after I told him I would come back with a cashiers check. Then he showed us a print out of the total cost. This included $599 dealer fee. When I asked what this was for he told me it was to cover their overhead costs because their prices are so low. This doesn't make sense. Their cost of doing business should be included in the price of the vehicle. You don't get to the register and have a business add 6% for their expenses. There is also a $350 charge labeled government fee. I was told this is for the tag and title transfer. This is a huge over inflation. A tag and title transfer is around $100. When I told him this he said "your personal history" is not how they do it and Evo Motors needs to charge $350 to cover their expenses. Again I questioned why "their expenses" were not already included in the total price of the vehicle like any other business would do and he told me "because their prices are so low." Well that doesn't make sense if you advertise a certain price and then add almost $2,000 in your expenses to that price when a customer goes to pay. After looking at their website claims, I expected to pay the price listed plus state sales tax and the state tag and title transfer fee. I guess my expectations were too high. read more
