Wow!! We didn't know what to expect being in a shopping mall plaza, but we were completely blown away. It started with our first interaction at the host stand. The young man behind the stand was so friendly and kind. There was a tiny wait beyond out reservation and he kept apologizing. It really was only a few minutes and we were a few minutes early anyway. We were seated outside in the patio. There is an adorable gazebo, lights and tons of plants to create a warm and inviting outdoor area that doesn't even come close to a plaza! We were greeted by Jessy our waiter. He shared the specials and offered us an extensive wine list. We passed on drinks but ordered promptly. We started with the lobster bruschetta. I have no words for the unbelievable flavor I experienced. This was hands down the most incredible thing I've ever eaten in my entire life. I am a food snob, and this was just dynamite!! If I could have licked the plate, I would have. The cream sauce, warm tomato and tarragon was a flavor I'll be dreaming about. Next we got shrimp parm with a side of rigatoni bolognese. The shrimp were huge and full of flavor. The bolognese was perfect. Not too sweet, a perfect blend of red sauce and meat. Then we had the chicken Milanese with arugula salad over top. Perfectly crispy chicken that was juicy, not dry. The salad was refreshing with a light vinaigrette and fresh mozzarella on top. Absolutely delicious! Lastly we had dessert, tiramisu and a cannoli. It was good, I think chocolate shaving on the tiramisu and chocolate chips in the cannoli filling would have made them both a ten. As they were, I'd say a 7.5. Jessy was a fantastic waiter! Our drinks were never empty, he checked in on us multiple times, he was friendly, and knowledgeable when it came to the menu. We have already started planning our next trip. Given they we live more than 45 minutes away, we won't be able to come as often as we would if we lived in the area, but we WiILL be back!

I don't even know what to write.. from the Sunday gravy to the braised short rib to the ala vodka and clams linguine...they are all so different! Super yummy!

Sorry was so good I didn't take time to take any food pics!!!!

Are you kidding me??? Amazing!!!! Great decor warm reception on a Saturday night at 9:30pm! Food off the hook! We had everything! Cesar salad crunchy and not over dressed best anchovies too, caprese, pear pocket pasta THE BEST, chicken dish, pesto gnocchi and halibut to live for!!! Thank you for being spot on. Artwork on walls by Guillermo was an added bonus. Keep doing what you're doing because it's really damn good. Sidenote, I don't want you to go out of business .. too much standing around on a Saturday night at 10:30! Save Labor cut appropriately. Take this suggestion from somebody who knows.

The service was terrific - friendly and attentive (but not hovering) and the food was great. My Burata was large and nicely constructed - and the Balsamic Glaze was perfectly dressed. The Grilled Romaine was delicious and interesting - with a nice portion of pancetta. Our mains were excellent - the Bucatini Amatriciana (a new item on the menu) was scrumptious. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the sauce rich and flavorful. The Grilled Salmon on a bed of spinach was perfectly cooked (most restaurants overcook fish) and quite tasty. Although not terribly deep, the wine list was broad and there was a good range of priced offerings. Overall we had a great dinner.

What can you say about Lynora's?…read more Yes, you'll wait for a table. Yes, the outdoor "waiting area" feels more like a friendly sidewalk summit. And yes, once inside, the volume level suggests that everyone is passionately discussing the superiority of nonna's gravy. You may briefly consider learning sign language just to order. But then... the food arrives. And suddenly, all is forgiven. It's authentic, vibrant, unapologetically Italian. The pasta tastes like it actually met a tomato. The sauces are rich without being heavy. The bread disappears mysteriously (no one at the table will confess). Every visit delivers the same thing: consistency, freshness, and that unmistakable "this is the real deal" flavor. And let's not overlook Wino Wednesdays -- 50% off bottles. That's not a special. That's a public service. So yes, you'll wait. You'll raise your voice. You'll squeeze past a few happy diners. And you'll gladly do it all again next week. Run, don't walk. Lynora's is loud, lively, and absolutely worth it. Tell them Bobby sent you, you'll be glad you did!

We made a 8pm reservation and arrived a few minutes early, so we grabbed some wine and headed outside. For some reason, the bartender wasn't friendly at all towards our group, but I'm letting that slide. Anyway, when we sat down, they immediately brought us a bread basket that included their homemade focaccia bread and butter, which was wonderful. For appetizers, we split their meatballs and their zucchini fritters. The fritters were incredible. The dishes looked huge, so we split two dishes between the four of us. The chicken francese had a ton of flavor, it did taste like an old school NY/NJ spot. It was 100% on point. After our meal, they gave us a bit of lemoncello and homemade Italian cookies, which were fabulous! Service was good too. (Please note, it's beer and wine only). Also, there isn't much of a bar, (we weren't sure before we arrived). Had a great experience though!

We ordered calamari and meatballs as our app and neither knocked our socks off. The meatballs needed more sauce / flavor. The calamari does come with peppers. We got the branzino special and that was the only thing special about it. Our waiter was amazing and very friendly. The best thing we had all night were the cookies. This is not an old school red sauce Italian type place if that is what you are looking for. Overall I'm not sure we would return because it's not our style.

Far from "red sauce italian," Il Professore serves up exquisitely crafted italian regional specialties in a sleek but humble environment, with service that makes you feel perfectly at home whe3ther you're a first timer or a regular. Last night was our 4th time eating there. Started with fried stuffed zucchini blossoms... clearly homemade ricotta, hot out of the oven in fresh tomato and basil pesto sauces. Perfect. We shared the Staghetti Bottarga, which was split for us. Pasta, perfectly cooked. Sauce, olive oil, garlic, cherry tomatoes and botttarga, just crunchy and flavorful enough to add life tot he dish without overwhelming it. Two entrees. Lamb chops in a beautifully savory sauce, with roasted potatoes crisp on the outside and fluffy and hot inside. The breadcrumb/parmesan crusted halibut was perfectly fresh, moist, seasoned correctly (not too salty) and all around perfect. Don't sleep on the desserts -- the pistachio tiramiso is always on the menu and excellent. Chocolate cake with a scoop of homemade vanilla ice cream, also well worth the calories. Don't miss this place! It's small and in the usual crappy Florida strip mall, but it is always an experience!

The food overall was okay, but not particularly memorable. We tried the eggplant rollatini, lobster ravioli as an entrée, and fried calamari as an appetizer. For salads, we had the beet salad with fried cheese and the house salad that came with the ravioli. While everything was decent, none of these dishes really stood out. The pizza, however, was a highlight. We ordered the Meat Lovers, Margherita, and cheese pizzas, and all were very good. It also seemed to be the most popular choice, as many of the tables around us had ordered pizza as well. I'd likely return to give it another try, especially for the pizza.

10/10 - One of the Best Italian Meals I've Had in Florida…read more I don't usually write long reviews, but Vulcanos Italian Restaurant absolutely earned it. From the moment we walked in, it felt like one of those rare local spots where everything is made with love and completely from scratch. You can taste the difference in every single bite. We started with the wedge salad, and it was perfect -- crisp, fresh, chilled lettuce with the right balance of toppings and dressing. It was way bigger than expected (portions here are no joke), but every bite had amazing flavor. It's honestly one of the best wedge salads I've had anywhere. Next, we ordered a gluten-free pizza, and I was blown away. Gluten-free pizza is usually hit or miss, but theirs tasted like real, authentic pizza with that homemade texture and flavor. The crust had that perfect balance of crispy and chewy, and you could tell it was made in-house and not something pre-packaged. Easily the best gluten-free pizza in the area -- maybe anywhere. But the star of the night was the lobster ravioli. Absolutely incredible. You can tell it's homemade the moment you cut into it. The pasta was soft and fresh, and the filling actually had real chunks of lobster instead of the usual "barely-there" filling most places give you. The sauce was rich, creamy, and absolutely addictive. If you come here, this dish is a must-try. On top of the food being amazing, the service was warm, friendly, and attentive without being overbearing. You can tell the staff really cares about their customers and takes pride in what they serve. Also, the best vodka sauce I've ever had in my life, better than in Italy! Super homey ambiance! If you want real, homemade Italian food served with big portions, great service, and authentic flavor, this is 100% the place. We left full, impressed, and already planning what we want to try next time. Highly recommended -- 10/10 experience

The Hungry Poet is back baby!! (I love being Yelp Elite…read more I've just been busy!) "The Salty Zebra blew me away, The Black Grouper entree made my entire day. The burger was seasoned and the patty was fat, But those home made desserts....whooo that's where it's at!" This meal/dining experience brought me to Yelp immediately. I was excited y'all! The Salty Zebra (picked it b/c of good reviews and proximity to Barnes and Noble in Tequesta) They cover the basics extremely well: greeted with kindness and professionalism, seated promptly, and approached immediately by a wonderful server. I won't spend time here just know you will not be disappointed with the service and it was beyond pleasant. Apps Burgundy Escargot (Pernod Garlic-Parsley Butter) We asked for a recommendation from the appetizer section of their menu (perfect amount of selections by the way...I despise an encyclopedic menu). We were thinking escargot and we were so pleased that it was recommended...that sealed the deal. It was garlicky and buttery and served with the perfect white bread. Spot on. Entrees were freaking fantastic! Florida Black Grouper (Creamed Kai Kai Farms Mustard Greens, Colab Farms Glazed Carrots, Carrot Marmalade) I never order grouper. I go out of my way to order it because I don't enjoy white fish usually. Something spoke to my spirit (plus our amazing server highly recommended it) and I went against my natural inclination. Lawd have mercy I'm glad I did. That grouper was perfectly seared, flaky, flavorful and completed excellently by the mustard greens and carrots. I do t know what the sauce was in the plate but it was savory a bit earthy in the best possible way with a twinge of sweetness that made me want to lick the plate ‍ (hey I'm from Mississippi...we do that ). Needless to say there wasn't a morsel of food left in my plate. Other reviews complained about small portions. I beg to differ it was a perfect portion, and I have a biiiiig appetite. (I am the hungry poet after all! I enjoy experiencing three full courses and not being miserably full by dessert.) Bistro Burger (1/2 LB CBS Blend, Gruyere, Sweet & Sour Onions, Au Poivre Sauce, Parmesan Potato Wedges) Boyfriend got the burger. It was great--I am well loved so I got the first bite lol Patty was thick and moist and seasoned! I was impressed that they didn't stay away from seasoning with this burger. We suspect it could have even been prepared sous vide then seared because of how evenly cooked it was. Our server was even kind enough to bring ketchup for the potato wedges. Dessert LET ME FIRST SAY: the second dessert (chef's special) was complementary. I don't know why? Good karma maybe? Speaking of the chef... Chef Michael was working that dining room. ‍ He walked by our table and asked if everything was okay. Not realizing he was the chef we asked for a little more bread to sop up the escargot butter. He brought the bread out a few minutes later himself and was super polite. He introduced himself and I was impressed that he was so personable. He stopped by two more times to check on our entrees and desserts. I love an involved chef. I have a couple friends who are Executive Chefs in pretty swanky places and I love to see that bar being met. Especially as a Yelp Elite reviewer. You know how most people can't wait to write reviews when they're pissed. I can't wait to write reviews when my socks are knocked off. Back to dessert... Chocolate banana I love banana desserts. Some might be biased but this dessert was oooooooh wee deliciously special. I don't have the description because I think desserts change weekly/daily etc but trust me... GET IT! If you like bananas chocolate and caramel get it! Homemade S'more When I said made in house I mean it! The marshmallow the graham cracker all of it! It was rich and decadent and it blew me away. I'll be thinking about these desserts for a while. And again I don't t know what we did to get a free one but Chef Michael brought both out himself and I felt the "we go the extra mile" vibe. It was crystal clear. Sounds like I'm using hyperbole but I swear I'm not. Decor and ambiance was beautiful. Wasn't loud at all. Hands down a perfect dinner experience. We had been walking in the hot sun all day after this impromptu trip to Stuart and even in leggings and a T-shirt we felt comfy and welcomed. Thanks another review giving it to you straight no chaser from The Hungry Poet aka Elizabeth S. aka Lizz . Enjoy!

The gnocchi was definitely the winner in my book. Creamy, cheesey, and light tomato-ey goodness! The place used to be a sports bar, and while they've upgraded the tables and added a full bar, the overall layout still screams "game day." Plenty of TVs line the walls, which feels a little unusual for an Italian restaurant, but hey, if you like watching the game while enjoying a good slice of pizza, it's not a bad setup. Speaking of pizza, I went for the Carnivore Pizza, and it did not disappoint. Loaded with toppings, great crust, and just the right amount of cheese--definitely a solid choice. My companion had the Antipasto Salad, which was a fresh and flavorful mix of greens, tomatoes, roasted peppers, garbanzo beans, salami, and provolone, all tossed in a tangy red wine vinaigrette. Both dishes were well done, and you could tell they put some thought into their ingredients. Now, here's the part that had me feeling a little bad for them--we were the only customers there for lunch on a weekday. It's a new spot, so I really hope they get more traction because the food and service deserve a crowd. Prices were very reasonable, with lunch coming in at under $20 per person, which is a steal for the quality. Parking is plentiful. Overall, I'd definitely come back, maybe for dinner when there's (hopefully) more of a buzz. The food was excellent, the service was attentive, and the prices were fair.
