I worked with tdf interiors for my first home redesign. I was sick of my home consisting of…read moremismatched furniture, was embarrassed to have guests over, and was frustrated by my lack of storage space. Even when my home was clean, it looked cluttered and dirty. Once I started working from home more, I realized I needed to invest in the help of a professional who could help make my space a comfortable place to work and live. I was referred to Tina by a friend whose home I absolutely love. Like me, she has pets but somehow managed to keep all of her pet stuff from overtaking her living room. She admitted that she had help from a professional interior designer and gave me Tina's email address. Tina worked with me to figure out what my goals were via a detailed questionnaire, what my style is, and helped me figure out what I like and don't like. I sent her a list of ideas and examples and she somehow turned my hodgepodge of ideas into a reality that came together beautifully. There was no way I could have ever gotten my home to the place it is now by myself. Having never used an interior designer before, I had no idea how much a room could be transformed. It's like I moved into a different home. She also made the process extremely easy on me and I felt like I didn't have to invest a ton of time into making this transformation happen- she just took care of all the annoying and time consuming parts for me. Her rates are reasonable and she will work with you to stay within your budget. She was flexible with my needs and I didn't feel like she ever pushed me towards something I didn't want. She primarily works in the Lake Forest/Chicago area, but I live in Virginia and she was able to work remotely with me via phone, email, and FaceTime. So glad my friend referred me to her!

Our basement was…read morea really complex project because of the odd floor plan, awkward layout, and the number of different things we were hoping to accomplish in one space. We wanted it to be functional for everyday family life, comfortable for entertaining, and nice looking. Jacqueline took the time to really learn how our family uses the space, what our priorities were, and what was on our wish list. We were hoping to include a comfortable movie and hangout area for our kids, as well as a bar area for entertaining, and she found a way to make both feel intentional and connected within the layout. She listened to our needs and worked so thoughtfully to incorporate as much as possible into the final design. She helped us see solutions we never would have thought of on our own. She guided us through everything from the overall floor plan and furniture layout to finishes, lighting, paint colors, materials, and all of the little details that make a space feel complete. Her selections were beautiful and practical. We are so grateful for her help and would highly recommend Jacqueline!
